It's a busy two weeks for me. Saw Marcus King this past Saturday and he was absolutely killer. Seeing Gary Clark Jr this Saturday and then more than likely going to catch The Black Angels again (4th time? I think) on Friday.

I'm not going to say he didn't have a concussion on Sunday because the NFL has proven to be pretty dumb about things, especially concussions but it would be wildly stupid to allow him to play without making sure every possible step was cleared so as to avoid even further litigation about their handling of these things. But maybe this just highlights that the system still needs to be better. The problem is, the stuff that happened on Sunday and again tonight are also consistent with a spinal injury so it's possible he's just been misdiagnosed the entire time. Sadly, this tweet from Ryan Shazier may offer the best hope that things are figured out because UC may be able to diagnose it better than whoever the Dolphins and the NFL have on their payrolls.

Bias aside, they were a dropped INT away from going to the Super Bowl and basically improved on defense. It's not that much of a stretch. Unless of course you think that Jimmy G is a good QB whose play is irreplaceable.

Martinez sucks. As a guy stuck in Packers country, it was an overpay to begin with so they're probably better off in the long-term anyways.

Nah he was projected to go rounds 1-2. The bigger issue is that most teams didn't think Jefferson would be a star because he mostly played in the slot in college.

He doesn't have to exercise the no trade clause. It's just there to assure him that he has a say in where he'd go. It's possible he stays on the team but the lower cap number makes it way more likely a team would be interested in trading for him than the previous number.

No dead money would have been $1M or so. This is obviously to get some relief on the cap # and make it more palatable for a team to trade for him between now and the deadline. Basically just they don't have to just cut him for nothing and can wait to see how things shake out.

Until Jimmy G is released and signs with Seattle, at least. Geno played pretty well last year though too.
