  1. yeah, the base game comes with a bare bones fictional universe. bethebooker.net hosts some mods here: https://bethebooker.net/thread/757/pro-wrestling-simulator-download-index But mainly, the Official Discord is your best place to find them. There are a bunch of skins in the mods-general channel, and gazwefc has an All American Wrestling Series listed where he has mods from 1989-2003 with graphics packs, plus other mods listed in the server.
  2. No regional popularity like TEW where there's individual levels within regions of the US, Canada, Mexico, etc... more broke down by continent
  3. Yeah, all matches and segments are booked by minutes instead of a set number of slots/segments. It seems like wrestlers are signed right away like EWR. I noticed Kazarian was missing from my roster while booking the PPV and was able to go to the wrestlers section, sign him and book him in the same night.
  4. Is anyone else playing Pro Wrestling Sim on Steam? I purchased it yesterday after hearing about and following its development for a little while, and I have to say I am pretty impressed with it so far. There is already a budding modding community growing on its official Discord Server, with a number of mods from different time periods, complete graphic packs, and pretty awesome looking skins. It is not as robust or in-depth as TEW 2020 (which may be a good thing for some people) and plays like a sort of beefed up version of EWR. On top of that, the visual presentation of the game is beautiful and it works on both Mac OS and PC. I have been toying around with a TNA 2004 game and found a pretty nice skin to match the mod and it really ties things together nicely. Some of the differences between PWS and EWR/TEW that I'm a big fan of so far include: A notepad complete with a number of formatting options. PWS' notepad feature looks more like Word/Wordpad than Notes which can be a lot handier to organize info. Booking Angles is setup really well. One angle segment can be made up of multiple parts, or "beats" as PWS calls them. For instance, here I booked an interview with Mike Tenay interviewing Hulk Hogan (Beat 1, 7 mins) only for Jeff Jarrett to interrupt and have him and Hogan go back and forth on the microphone (Beat 2, 4 mins) before finally ending in a brawl (Beat 3, 3 mins) - This essentially ties together together what would be three different segments in TEW into one. It's a pretty cool way to go about it. Each match/segment can also be given custom names and description which makes it perfect for diary writing, as it stores the info you write there in the show history. Those are just a few notes so far. Here are a couple of screencaps of other PWS skins that totally transform the look of the game to match the time period you are playing:
  5. I always liked your approach to modding, so its nice to have you back - especially doing this time period!
  6. I know I’m in the minority but…. I LIKED Halloween Ends 🤷‍♂️
  7. Former Cowboys Tight End Gavin Escobar has passed away due to a rock climbing accident 😢
  8. Spice Girls “Spice” is unironically one of my favorite albums and I’m not even going to pretend to deny it. Staind “Break the Cycle” is another one for me. Nirvana MTV Unplugged is probably my #1
  9. What are some songs or artists that for whatever reason you didn't like, but grew to love or appreciate? For me, since my mom had me at such a young age (barely 17), I spent a ton of time with my grandparents at their house growing up. They loved old country/western music and it was always on, whether it be 8 tracks, vinyl or eventually CDs. One of the artists I heard the most? Conway Twitty. I HATED Conway Twitty. Or at least I thought so. After losing my Grandfather 10 years ago, I went back and listened to a lot of that music again. In a way I guess it brought him back for me. And guess what? Dude had some bangers. The one I appreciate the most, especially after becoming a dad is "That's My Job." So yeah, sorry Conway. You were just too good to appreciate at such a young age. What are some of yours?
  10. Yeah, so hyped for this. Revenge/No Mercy are games I play to this day. Day one purchase from me. Gameplay looks fun as hell.
  11. After putting off watching it for years, I think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind just became my favorite Jim Carrey film. Absolutely loved it.
  12. The Bear triggers my PTSD from working in the restaurant industry from my teens to mid 20s. Fuck that stress. Great show though.
  13. Yes. Yes. And yes. Finale: That final interaction between Vader and Obi Wan may be my favorite few moments in all of Star Wars.
  14. Damn, say what you will about what Disney has done with the franchise, but they’ve handled Darth Vader like an absolute boss
  15. There’s something about the acting of the 3rd Sister that grates on me and I can’t really place it.
  16. “You flicked too hard, DAMMIT!” 😅
  17. Watched Hook and still love that movie. Fuck the haters. Rufio! Rufio! Rufio!
  18. I just finished Breaking Bad for the first time this morning (I’d previously made it through the first season and stopped). Holy fuck, what a show. Is Better Call Saul worth investing that same kind of time into?
  19. Watched The Batman today and literally had the entire theater to myself. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Riddler was brutal. Didn’t like the casting of Pattinson when I first heard it, but he pulled it off.
  20. You’ve not seen Near Dark?
  21. Was in the mood for a werewolf movie, and stumbled upon Wer. Going into it without any expectations, I actually quite liked it. Makes use of News coverage/found footage/classic setup pretty well.
