Still haven't played this, but from what I read it's my understanding that if you send someone to your collection they're then locked there?

I've had a thought that if we have the 8 of us playing then we should go 2 ST's, 2 CM's, 2 CB's and then the other two players can go ANY and interchange between the wings and wing backs. If it's 6, then it's 2 ST's, 2 CM's and 2 ANY, and then 4 would mean 2 ST's and 2 ANY like we played in the first game. If we don't have a full squad we definitely need two ANY players or it means relying on the CPU from time to time.

I've edited the first post with some stats. Again, if I've made any mistakes or if you think I should put anything else on there let me know. I was just downright frustrated during the game against France. Henry is just flipping unstoppable. Enjoyed the other games though. I guess in future we should just organise positions/ANY players just before we start a game cause it'll differ depending on who is present.

Here are the results for tonight's games. Think we played well first match. I played poorly second game and that would've been bad against any team nevermind against France. Third game was alright even though I struggled playing lone defence although credit to Nalareg who was back as Van Bommel as much as humanly possible to help out. You're already a member of the club. So from your menu you need to go Online Game Modes > Online Game Modes > FIFA 09 Clubs > Dressing Room. I'm in there now well ahead of time. Hope we get a decent turnout. At least 6 of us hopefully. Remember not to press X in the dressing room or it'll search for an opponent before we're ready.

I can take them when I have a clear sight on a top corner cause I just blast them. I can't when it requires any sort of placement or curl though. I'd rather just pass it to someone else in that situation.

By the way, I know TCO's good with Free Kicks but I've had a look at Lahm's stats and they're in the low 40's :S Ribery has the best stats, followed by Van Bommel and Ze Roberto I think.

I'm still waiting for a girlfriend-free opportunity to divulge in some Ultimate Team. For now I've been playing a few more ranked matches and TCO and I have been tearing shit up in the 2v2 rooms. Well, maybe it's just our opponents have been poor but still, it's been great. Especially when we came from behind to beat a pair of dirty cheaters with a last minute goal 2-1.

I'm itching to get my hands on 'What's My Age Again' but seems such a long way off til the release date (12 June by Play). Not interested in the slightest in this latest album dlc. Luckily there's still quite a few songs on my 'to get' list for me to go at and I'm still working my way through the tour mode on Rock Band 2 which I picked up last week anyway. I bought the transfer thingy and saved the RB1 songs to my hard-drive. Then I got GAME to price-match the Gamestation price and along with trade-ins of RB1 and NBA 2K8 plus a £10 voucher which has been sat in my wallet since Christmas I only ended up paying £7 cash so I'm pleased with that.

I think it's best for everyone if we stick to a usual time on a weekend that we can all get to. Check out the first post that I've updated guys and let me know if there's anything else you think I should add.

If all the people who have claimed positions thus far have accepted the Club invite then our squad looks like this: GK - CPU LB - The Cool One (Lahm) CB CB RB LM - metalman (Ribery) CM - AJ (Ze Roberto) CM - Rabid Wolverine (Van Bommel) RM - rvdwannabe (Schweinsteiger) ST - Captain Kirk (Toni) ST - Mr. Impact (Podolski -requested via PSN) If we get more than 10 signups then obviously we'll have to alter positions depending on who shows up. If we play a game with under 10 players then someone can be nominated to play the ANY position. Looking for some quality CB's and a RB then and we're ready to organise a date and time. If absolutely necessary I'll step back into defence but I reckon I can do a better job in CM.

Well I'm sold on Ze Roberto. He's big, strong and has a tad more pace than Van Bommel. Get your arses signed up and let's get a game organised for this weekend sometime.

When the auction ends if you've been successful you then go through the payment part with paypal or google checkout or whatever you're using. I'm not sure how the new feedback system works for buyers (I heard somewhere you now can't get negative feedback) but best to do it as soon as possible after the auction anyways.

Yeah I'm up for 2v2. Fed up of playing dirty scum in ranked games using every underhanded trick they can think of instead of just playing football. I fully support the Munich idea. I don't want to be Van Bommel though. He's a bit too sluggish for my liking. I'll see who else is decent when we play in a bit. Possibly Ze Roberto.

If you set your minimum bid to something like $10. ebay will automatically outbid other people on your behalf up until that limit. It's best just to wait until the auction has a few hours (or minutes) left rather than bumping the price when there's lots of time left. Always set yourself a limit in your head too of how much you're prepared to spend before you start bidding. Then you won't be upset about losing out if it's more than what you're willing to pay anyway.

I've changed the first post to show our squad so far with possible positions and the remaining invites and added RW to the invited list. Once we get minimum 10 players on board with accepted invites we can start talking about when best to hold our weekly games. Plus I think it might make sense to find out what position everyone likes to play first and then choose a team that suits us best that way.

No you don't. Some sellers require you to be verified but usually only when you're making big purchases like motorbikes and ridiculous things like that. I bought a ton of my PS2 games off ebay and back in January I bought Rock Band (All instruments + game - new) off there and I've had no problems whatsoever. As with any ebay purchase, just make sure you read the listing thoroughly twice and if possible use your credit card because then you're better covered than with a debit card.

I'd be happy with Villa. Just played a game as Munich online in BAP and they're pretty fun too. It helps that I played awesome and scored 2 goals with Van Bommel to turn a 1-0 Barca lead into a 2-1 win despite my teammate Luca Toni's best efforts to run into EVERYONE possible. Once you've accepted the invite, you might also want to state what position you'd like to play as. I'm sure we can chop and change but if we're all good at a specific position we might as well be a proper team. I seem to be best at CM/CAM supporting the attack and winning headers from the goal kicks and stuff. I'll happily play as a winger too though if necessary. As we get more members, keep an eye on the first post as I edit it with squad members/positions etc.
