Sigh. Just got knocked out a BRONZE UT tournament on pens by a maxed italian side and the user was shite (shooting from kickoff and all that carry on). I came from behind 3 times and scored an absolute belter of a freekick with Carrick in the second half of extra time. Saved the first pen too but he got two of mine. His fourth one just squirmed under my keeper. I thought I had saved it at first, gutted. Can't believe how much the morale takes a beating when you lose. Don't think I'm ever gonna get 100% trophies on FIFA considering how much these last two rely on you having to play these morons online. Had fun earlier kicking ass and taking names 2v2 with The Cool One though. I think we're still undefeated, are we not?

Was at training last night and in the younger training group you would not believe the amount of Lakers merchandise being worn. I mean I can't exactly say I'm a proper Magic fan but it's the only team I could lay claim to seeing as how it's the only place in the U.S. I've ever been (aside from a brief refuelling stop in Maine in '94 ) but the level of fanboyism is outstanding over here. Our coach made all the kids in the LA jerseys wear bibs 'cause he can't stand them. So hilariously spiteful, I loved it.

Don't think I know the other two songs but Know Your Enemy(!?!?!?!) Can't believe a song that I first heard on the radio and thought 'damn, this would be awesome on RB' actually made it there. My RB has been back in it's box since before I went on holiday but this is a perfect excuse to set up my drumkit again. Fingers crossed for older greenday stuff too. I'unno, I like Russell Brand. He tends to ramble on a bit longer than he should sometimes and he went down in my estimations for the whole Sachs thing but on the whole I find him pretty funny. edit: I'd also say he's not exactly your average Brit, he gets the same laughs over here for being so rediculously 'out there' as he would overseas.

My brother's friend is ridiculously good at Bioshock. He platinumed it for him over the course of a few nights playing it. I tried but couldn't get into it. Never have been able to enjoy a FPS since the old school PC ones.

Disappointed that Ronaldo is going as I was when Beckham left (couldn't understand that move either) but everybody has their price. I'll be extremely surprised if Ferguson brings in a big name replacement. The younger fringe players will continue to improve (watch out for Gibson) and I completely agree with Fudge as I have faith that they'll find another 'wonderkid' for next to nothing, or at least today's equivalent of next to nothing, who'll soon become a superstar.

I don't mind losing as long as the other player deserved to win and it wasn't just a flukey goal or cheating. I came up against another numpty 99 team user today on UT. I was up 4-0 at half time despite him using strength boost on his own team and reduce shooting on mine. All he wanted to do was run at me with Ronaldinho. He used a full team reduce fitness and passing cards on me after halftime then quit when he couldn't get the ball off me playing slow buildup. I got the win and advanced in the tourney but I get 0 coins which doesn't help renew the contracts that I lose playing. Even if he had lost he would have still got some coins. I don't understand why these people have to ruin it for everyone.

I may be crucified here for liking the mainstream, but I can't get enough of this Veronicas track. Despite probably hearing it over 10 million times over the last year playing FIFA. Still love the song and the intro. Same with La Roux - In For The Kill.

True, true. I might just go for it and get it on release day. I only paid £8 for the first one so it evens out I guess. This can only be better. Heck even if it were just more of the same it'd be worth it.

The only game I've bought on release is FIFA and I've never had a problem with long installation times. I'm desperate to get my hands on Uncharted 2 but I know it's the sort of game people are gonna play through once and trade in so I'll wait to get a cheaper copy.

EA supposedly sorted out the match-making system so that you would only get to play teams of the same or similar level. I guess they didn't if you're playing 5* teams already. Unless it's only for the tournaments. They definitely need to impose some kind of penalty for match-quitters and a better reward for winners because losing a game on each players contract every time someone quit on you must suck.

The only update that's occurred recently was for UT and they inserted 12 new 'Premier League' players (I use that loosely because apart from Pavlyuchenko and an unconfirmed Amir Zaki it's a bunch of Chelsea and Liverpool reserves) and in reply to complaints on the official forum they've also stopped issuing gameplay cards in packs that have a negative effect on your opponent. Cause it would just plain suck to get to a final for your opponent to slap a 90minute reduce fitness, reduce passing, reduce shooting, reduce pace card on you at kickoff. Played my first online game in UT today in the first round of the first bronze cup. My opponent's team was full of megastars (Ibra, Torres, Gerrard, Ronaldo, Iniesta etc) and he stuck a gameplay card on my strikers at kickoff (not sure what it was though). The difference in chemistry was noticable though. My silver CB's Boyce and Upson were muscling Ibra off the ball and outrunning Torres. I scored a beauty with Kenny Miller plus another and a debut goal from N'Zogbia and ended up winning 3-0 so pleased with that. Perhaps this isn't going to be as bad as I thought.

EA has announced that 12 new players are being put into the database in their next update (probably in the next few days). I know for sure one of them will be Pavlyuchenko. So have your eyes open for him or any other new cards appearing in packs or cheaply on the trade cause you'll be able to sell them on for massive profit.

I've recently bought a maxed Ribery and Agbonlahor and felt really let down by both of them. Sold them both on for a profit though so that's not too bad. My silver Cameron Jerome puts Gabby to shame. Just got the trophy for completing all Club Tournaments. Now the only trophies left for 100% are for doing the Online Tournaments. Which I'm dreading considering all the things I've heard about the idiots that play UT online. Maxed 99 teams, glitch abuse, quitting, gameplay card whores. Oh I've got it all to come.

I've thought Kate was going to win right up until the last minute and when they were asked for the last time why they should be picked she gave her usual auto-reply and I think Yasmina's words on the other hand just seemed so powerful and you could feel her passion and determination through everything she said. I am SO pleased Debra was on hand to shoot down the 'Intimate' brand name because that would have been horrific. As would the other team's attempt at men's chocolate. Meanwhile Philip took knobheadery to a whole other level with his 'choreography' and other stupid ideas.

Not seen the movie yet, but thought the finale was really anti-climatic... Spoiler: Click here to viewI marked out for the Kellerman return because I had always knew it was coming since we never saw him die. They left it pretty late though and I almost thought it wasn't gonna happen which would've been a great shame. They could've done it without dragging C-Note back though who I felt like they'd put in just for the sake of bringing more old characters back. I just figured we were in for a better ending than "omg we can't trust anyone, wait, let's trust this guy!" because we've had so many twists it's got to the point where someone not double-crossing them seems almost unbelievable. The 4 years later thing revealing Michael's death seemed SO abrupt and unecessary. Thought it was a bit of a shitty reward for all of us PB fans who've watched all the way through clinging to the hope that there'll be a happy-ever-after at the end. Funnily enough just before we watched the last ep my girlfriend asked can we not watch it cause she didn't wanna see it end. Almost wish I hadn't now.

I quite like the home one and will definitely get it if it looks like that. The away one in white looks awesome as well but I have the current white one and know how much of a pain in the arse it is to keep clean. Especially with my preference for messy colourful foods like chicken tikka masala and spaghetti. Maybe I'll order a bib too.
