I was just gutted Martins scored 7 times, there goes Heskey's chance at the golden boot He's more of an NBA 2K9 or Burnout player. The last time he played FIFA was probably when 09 first came out. I haven't played in a while mind, last time I played was at the end of January or whenever our last tourney finished too cause I've been obsessed with Uncharted recently.

Carew (AV) Fairly evenly contested game. I was kicking myself for not clearing the ball properly with the keeper as I threw it out and Baddar intercepted it with Robben for his goal. Heskey responded with a headed goal. After that I soaked up some pressure in the second half and we both missed sitters. Madrid firing over the bar from close range and myself through 1 on 1 with the keeper but Baddar was quick off his line to block me.

You want to be in System Settings > Backup Utility. If you have a USB in it will automatically detect it and you can backup your system to a stick or external hard-drive. Just completed Uncharted for a second time, on easy mode again, to see how many trophies and treasures I could round up. I have 51/60 treasures now and I've got all the trophies except the remaining two treasure hunter trophies and the trophies for completing it on Normal/Hard/Crushing. I also shaved about 3 hours off my time despite roaming around looking for treasure in all the little hidden places. I think I've burnt myself out on it now so I'm gonna play something else until I feel like going back to it. Then I'll try defeating it on Hard, as doing so will unlock Crushing mode and the trophies for both normal and hard mode at the same time.

I shouldn't be sticking my oar in but can't help it >_< ... I can't see why there would be a problem with Impact changing to Hull, that's if McMigsy (his opponent) doesn't mind? Baddar, I'm having a night in tonight so should be free later on. It would be better for me to get it played either then or tomorrow at some point as I'm working Sunday and then back on nights Monday. Oh and TCO: His PSN is muzzy4. He doesn't really post here a lot but I'll let him know the draw's been made and get him to sort out a time with you. Know it won't be tonight as he's at a basketball game.

My brother is obsessed with burnout. Mainly just for hammering the trophies. He platinumed it last week. Don't actually know if he's any good cause I haven't played it yet (as I'm hoping to gain a few more Uncharted trophies and get to work on Midnight Club first) but he plays it a lot.

Regarding the trophies, I wouldn't worry too much about getting them as most of them can be achieved just by playing through the game as you would (except a few that can only be done in certain spots like Dyno-MIGHT expert). I got quite a few in the last quarter of the levels. I got the 100 headshots fairly quick cause I tend to always aim for them just to use less ammo and whenever I got the trophy for a specific amount of kills with a gun, I'd try to use something else from then on.

Just played only my fourth ranked online match as Aston Villa vs Everton. Scored 2 within the first five minutes and went 3-0 up just before half-time. Then I'm assuming he took the huff and quit. Just wondering whether I'll get the win or not. I've left the connection lost screen on for a while just as a precaution but I think the 5 minutes thing refers to being 5 minutes into the match. If you quit before then you won't forfeit... or something like that. Everytime he had the ball he just did a couple tricks before I stole the ball back. Could've had 4 too if I'd have capitalised on the rookie mistake of sending the goalkick to the nearest defender, but I had X pressed down expecting to have to tackle the guy first but I ended up just passing it straight back for another goal kick.

Streak had to end sometime, but the win is the most important thing. I realise they were resting VDS for Tuesday or whatever and he's not the sole reason for the clean sheet streak but putting Kuszack in goal instead when they're on such a magnificent run is just putting negative thoughts into the team's head before they even walk out onto the pitch. It's like Ferguson just wants to prove he can rotate through anyone in the squad and still keep a clean sheet. You could see the team and fans were completely deflated after the equaliser. Think there were a few dubious decisions for both sides but glad they managed to drag themselves through it. Blackburn were the dogged determined team that we'd been used to watching the past few seasons. It's about time one of those Ronaldo freekicks flew in as well.

I realise I'm like 14 months behind on this but I've just completed Uncharted. That was absolutely epic. Cannot say enough good things about this game and that's a credit to it considering it's been out so long already. It's like the first game I've actually completed since Vice City. It got a bit tense in places (chapters 17ish and onwards?) which is why I normally stick to games like FIFA and RCT but I really enjoyed it overall. Some great storytelling, suspense, twists, intrigue and all for £8 Bargain. Looking forward to the sequel now.

Zamora has good finishing and Kamara's just as quick as Johnson and used later in the game in he can be lethal. Andreasen is the go-to guy when it comes to sticking headers away from corners. Oh, and Jimmy Bullard anyone? Bullard plays for Hull now. Well if you want to be really pedantic he's not playing for anyone for the next 6-9 months.

I third the Big Bang Theory recommendation. They're short, easy to watch and unoffensive to anyone else who might catch your screen. So is Scrubs but I imagine you've probably seen them. A good one is try taking some DVD's that you've never watched the special features on or haven't seen in a while. I recently watched the LOTR extended edition trilogy special features, that's a good couple hours each in 20-30 minute bursts.

Just seen Scholes' goal. Schwarzer perhaps should've done better but such was the power of the strike he couldn't hold it. Absolutely magnificent volley though.

Why is it when you're listening from the start of the match they seem to mention the score every 30 seconds but when you tune in half an hour in you feel like you're waiting ages til they let you know. Another v.solid win. I would love it, LOVE IT if they went the rest of the season without conceding. Not gonna happen, and will be sad when the run is broken, but it's awesome while it lasts.

I never read gaming mags or really look at gaming sites but I bought a copy of Play (which to be honest is quite poor at delivering information and more concerned with their own little office in-jokes) to keep me amused at work last week and having read their "100 Reasons to look forward to 2009" I'm now excited-ish for the following games: Fifa 2010 (duh) Rock Band 2 Infamous Ghostbusters Killzone 2 (haven't played the first one though, plan to play the demo tomorrow) I Am Alive I'm also fairly curious about: Heavy Rain (a movie-like story told through gameplay rather than cut scenes) Wet Rage Bayonetta (a witch with hair for clothes and guns attached to her high heels wtf?) What are you looking forward to?

To be fair to littlemus, he's only really making up the numbers. He'd even agree with me saying he's not gonna make any great progress even if he uses Milan.

Well I woke up at half 12 so I just got up =\ Gonna be shattered in the morning. Decent game so far. I'm glad I've got TNT:OT live feed on the computer cause the coverage here is diabolical. Every time there's a break they cut back to the studio and the Mark Williams lookalike and the two most boring guests in the history of mankind. Mascots dunking off trampolines over giant cactii is much more entertaining.

It's not that I dislike it, more that I haven't even listened to it. Well, I heard The Truth when it was first leaked which was okay but it didn't blow me away. It's only 7 songs and they named it "The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)" which is a stupid title. Especially when there's no part 2. Just listening to RMV on my itunes for the first time in like 2/3 years, I forgot how many quality (term used loosely for my tastes) songs are on there. Behind Blue Eyes is still better than The Who's original

I knew about the haircut yesterday when Shaq posted on twitter from the locker room. I think as far as the dunk contest goes, if they had concentrated on the dunks rather than the corny gimmicks it would've made for a lot better viewing. Howard made it look far too easy on the 12ft rim too, he could've easily done something more impressive. Can anybody tell me when the All-Star game will start tonight? I know the coverage starts around 1am our time but I have to be up at 6am for work so I'd like to be able to go to bed and get up just before tip.

When I was like 14 I wanted to go see lb SO bad I convinced my mam to let me travel all the way down to Milton Keynes to see them (was too late to get tix for Manchester) but I didn't end up going anyway as my mates couldn't get theirs to agree. =\ Gays. If there's a gig near me this time round I'll consider it just for nostalgia sake but I don't really look like the type who'd show up to a limp show these days so I'unno.

Trust me I don't wanna play against Utd but I don't really wanna play (read: be beaten by) Inter, Madrid or Chelsea either.
