I've been wanting this game for a while but can't decide whether all this discussion makes me want to get it more or run a mile as it sounds really addictive.

According to a couple of sites ITV's excuse for the cock up was due to ad breaks already scheduled for after the news was supposed to be on. I can't be arsed to count up but if there's still room I'm in. (Y) Looks like Baddar already shut down the idea but I'd be up for random teams. As well as International teams and/or lower league teams. Would shake things up a bit as I assume the players that chose teams last time are used to them by now. I also think teams like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Inter can be just as ridiculously difficult to play against as Utd and Milan. That being said, if KoA doesn't mind I'll take Villa this time round and if he's keeping them then I guess I'll stick with Roma from the last tourney.

There's talk on SSN that the deadline could be extended to make up for the bad weather. Why is the deadline 5pm anyway? I would've thought it would be at midnight like the summer one. As a neutral, I really want to see Keane back at Tottenham where he belongs.

Yeah, if you're already familiar with these kind of games (which after playing GH3 like you said, you probably are) then Easy can be a waste of time. Might as well jump right into Medium. I on the other hand was a complete novice so playing through Easy for a while helped me get used to the game. Then I kinda burnt myself out playing through almost the entire Medium tour (I was only aiming for Enter Sandman originally). I notice the RB2 date for PS3 on Play has been changed to "To Be Announced". Anyone have any news?

Saw Uncharted yesterday for £8 so picked that up. I know I'm a little behind the times and I'm only up to about Chapter 4 or 5 but really enjoying playing it and the story so far too. Yet again it's not really my style of game but I'm branching out and glad I have cause this one is superb. Most games I never see through to completion but with this one I'm hoping for it not to end. Best £8 I've spent in a while.

Well I'll be continuing my current Manager Mode, as I like it after a few seasons and the teams start to mix it up a bit with regards to players. However in my game there rarely seems to be any major changes to the other squads other than ones that are forced by retirements. I think the only one that stands out is Beckham to Blackburn (a straight DB for DB replacement it seems) and I'm not even sure if that's on this MM or my 08 one. I'd prefer it if it was more like BAP mode where you only get a few interested teams at the end of the season instead of being able to choose whoever you like. I'll probably end up flipping a coin but I like the sound of either a second division European team, an SPL team that isn't Rangers/Celtic or I might go reall outlandish and go Korean or something crazy and then bring a load of Brits in. Another thing I've thought of doing, to give myself a bit of a challenge, is to take the reigns of a Championship outfit and then sign only English/British players. So I can have a full British starting 11 by the time I'm making waves in the Premiership.

I'm with N'Zogbia. I'd be pissed too if that daft twat called me Insomnia. How can you mispronounce one of your own player's name that badly and then accuse them of trying to engineer a move away. =/ Also, I really hope Beckham wangles a permanent move to AC Milan, or anywhere that matter. He really screwed up going to the US (in all fairness, he thought his international days were over) but he needs to be in a top team and it would be a chance for him to salvage something from the remainder of his career.

On FIFA 08 I did 5 seasons with Darlington. So I might go Championship but I don't fancy battling through all the lower divisions. I haven't managed any teams abroad yet. So any suggestions there would help. Players or league isn't really an issue since I'll likely buy a whole new team eventually anyway. So just one with a nice kit that I won't get sick of looking at.

I have an afternoon off tomorrow so gonna try and get some league games done in Manager Mode. Once I've finished this season (as Fulham) i'm gonna up the difficulty and play with a different team. Anyone want to make a suggestion? So far I've managed Middlesbrough and Fulham.

Yeah I would've preferred a more BFME approach where a lot more classes were accounted for and evenly balanced. It's pretty basic, but still a lot of fun. I'm really enjoying playing the archer, especially in co-op alongside a warrior or mage. Scouts not so much, as they turn invisible and the enemy closes you down a lot quicker. Little bit gutted earlier on as I'm positive I should've had the Rain of Fire trophy. I was taking out 3 and 4 orcs at a time with each fire arrow throughout the whole level and definitely didn't die as I earned the Mithril Armor trophy for surviving the level intact.

Try to avoid shooting whilst holding the sprint button. Try holding R1 (RB?) whilst shooting for a finesse shot, which will increase accuracy but decrease power. You can also hold L2 (LT?) just before you shoot which brings the ball under more control and can increase power. If you're one on one with the keeper, try and shoot from an angle and curl the ball around him rather than hit him head on. Other than that, practice, practice, practice...

I've only played co-op with my brother so far. I was an archer and he was a warrior. It was pretty fun standing up on top of the wall at Helm's Deep picking off orcs as they ran up the causeway to attack him. My first trophy was Eagle Eyes for 25 headshots/critical hits in a single life Quite pleased with that.

Once you get used to the snail pace it can be quite fun in League 1. It is at first infuriating when players have to have at least one touch before they can even do anything with the ball. Apparently one-touch passing does not exist in the lower leagues.

That foul was purely accidental. Besides you need talk As I said on the PSN, even your tackles that weren't fouls looked like them. You'd think your players were wearing trainers the way they were sliding around. ^_^ Lost pitifully playing Baddar. He was Real Madrid mind, who I'm imagining he's pretty used to playing as now as well. Still Villa aren't a poor team. I think I'll go back to playing my BAP career, it's less infuriating than playing online.
