  1. Yeah, I don\\\'t have money on the game and I\\\'m not a fan of either. So this is going to be one of the most enjoyable Super Bowls for me in a while. EDIT: Fuck using a Proxy. This is like the third time I\'ve double posted something, ten minutes after I originally posted.

  3. Alright, gents. Colts. Saints. Who ya got? I have the Colts winning, with Reggie Wayne winning the MVP.
  4. I\'ll have my game played by tonight, so we can advance tomorrow at the latest.
  5. The Chargers, and especially the Colts, gave me a little difficulty so far. I think it's because I'm just not back into the swing of things. The Chargers I was able to stop cold on defense, but my offense has been rather crappy so far. Orton is an inaccurate bastard that at times throws the ball where he wants, and not where I direct it. And Makino, who did great for me last year, can't seem to hold onto the damn ball. And the game against the Colts, we had a healthy lead, but fuck Peyton Manning. We picked him off four times in the first three quarters, but once the fourth quarter started, that bastard was Superman.
  6. On the 360, you just double-tap A when close to the head.
  7. Yeah, between the constant gay and racial slurs, and the growing amount of glitch-cheesers, I've found myself less and less wanting to play MW2. I really only get on now when my friends are all on and we just do private matches.
  8. I do think they should take Suh. My original point was that there is no such thing as a "Can't Miss" player. And that if you have the top pick, you go with the smartest option (Suh), as opposed to the flashiest pick (Bradford or Clausen). EDIT: When I'm at home, I use a proxy to get on EWB, and I just realized that post you quoted of mine was chopped off and didn't have my whole post. The rest of it talked about how people couldn't get over how the Texans passed on the "can't miss" Reggie Bush, and all his flash and flare, for a boring defensive end at #1. And you're right, it's worked out brilliantly for him. Which is why St. Louis should stick to building their core with Suh, as opposed to trying to be flashy and take a "franchise" quarterback.
  9. Exactly. At the time, everyone went on and on about how the Texans could pass on the hands-down best player, Reggie Bush, for Williams. But it was a sin at the time.
  10. Yeah, but if you have it, you have to use it wisely, because no one in their right mind would trade up for a #1 pick unless there was a clear cut, can't-miss guy. Which doesn't exist.
  11. My argument against that is Spagnolla was an awesome defensive coordinator, and I think he would utilitze Suh much better than Washington utilized Haynesworth. I just don't think any of the quarterbacks in this draft are worth a #1 pick.
  12. Ah, no. I was talking about Colt McCoy. Gerald McCoy, I\'ve seen going #2 in pretty much every mock.
  13. Clearly, in The Land Down Under, that somehow rhymes. :/
  14. McCoy? Wow. I think the earliest I\'ve seen him go in Mocks is the first pick in the second round to St. Louis. Of course, I haven\'t checked them since last weekend.
  15. That\'s where all the Mock Drafts I\'ve seen have him going.
  16. Such a shame, too, because I like Brees and I wanted the Saints to get their championship. But they had to talk shit. Now I hope Manning lights them up for four or five touchdowns.
  17. And the Cardinals are making phone calls to see how difficult it would be to bring Vick to Arizona.
  18. As expected, Kurt Warner retired today. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4870096
  19. I can't remember the last offseason where they weren't saying McNabb was going to be traded. We just can't get his fat-ass out of here fast enough.
  20. Well, it's a rivalry dating back many decades. They were two of the teams in the NFC Central, along with the Vikings, Lions, and Bucaneers, but now they're two of the four teams in the NFC North. The Bears haven't won the Super Bowl since 1985, when they defeated the Miami Dolphins. The Green Bay Packers have been there twice since the Bears '85 win, beating the Patriots in 1997, but then losing to the Broncos in 1998. Hope that helps.
  21. C-Mil = Lionel Richie :o
