  1. The poor guy had his demons, but he was an awesome talent. Such a shame to see anybody go at the age of twenty-six.
  2. On a more important, and somber, note: Charlie Frye is starting for the Raiders this week. It's times like these that I wish I had Denver's defense in fantasy football.
  3. Force them to join the depleted AFC.
  4. So Denver finishes 14-2. Marcus Thomas broke the NFL record by getting seven sacks in this last game. Moreno ran for five touchdowns. Makino ran back the opening kick 100 yards and had a rushing touchdown. In the two games I played against Kansas City, we outscored them 104-3. They're absolutely horrible. Can't wait for the NFC playoff picture to take some shape, because right now, its all a toss up.
  5. They have a better shot than the Raiders do, that's for sure.
  6. I agree completely. Gerhart isn't around anywhere near the talent that Ingram has at Alabama. And still put up better numbers. I'm quite disappointed Toby didn't take home the hardware, because I think he really was the most deserving.
  7. Eh, losing on the road against one of the best teams in the league is no match to losing to Oakland and Cleveland in consecutive weeks. I don't think a Steeler fan alive has the gonads to talk shit about anyone at this time. And it looks like my Broncos are gonna fall short of ending the Colts' streak. Lame.
  8. It would actually make a HUGE impact on recruiting. The Quiet Period is coming up. Kelly needs to pitch the Irish to as many kids as he can over the next couple weeks, because he won't be able to by the time the Sugar Bowl is done. And signing day is in the first week of February. Maybe I'm a blind Notre Dame fan, but I think showing up in South Bend to get to work right away was the only choice the man had.
  9. Beat the Eagles in Philly, 31-8. I was pretty aggravated. I had them 24-0, they couldn't do shit offensively so of course, Moreno fumbles on our own 20-yard line, they scoop it up and run it in for a touchdown. I've had three or four games this season that should have been shutouts but special teams and turnovers cost my defense the goose egg. Oh, well. 13-2.
  10. Happy ___ Birthday, C!

  11. I was just joking around. I honestly didn't even realize there are only two human-controlled teams left in the AFC, either.
  12. Continue to overlook the 12-2 (and one loss was simulated) Broncos...
  13. It took me a while, but I've come around on Chad Ochocinco. He's right. He's not hurting anybody and he's entertaining. I loved the interview after he "bribed" the referee where he said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Goodell. I know I'm going to get fined, but I am sorry." That cracked me up.
  14. I knew tacking that last bit on there would come back and bite me in the ass. Well played.
  15. Jimmy Clausen declared for the Draft today. It's expected that Golden Tate will as well before the day is through. This is a sad day to be an Irish fan.
  16. I'd love to see Cincy/TCU in the Fiesta. Florida/Boise State in the Sugar. Iowa/Georgia Tech in the Orange. At least so that way we can get one undefeated team out of the way, and maybe see Boise knock off Tebow and the Gators down in Naw'lens.
  17. Yeah, that was the defense rolling over and taking Gilyard's dick in the bum. Should have never even come down to that extra point.
  18. It's not been said in here, but I'm sure you all know that Kansas bought Mangino out of his contract. Was the big, mean football coach too tough on the football players? Poor babies.
  19. The gaming community is just a sad place, in general. I pretty much only play with friends and don't even bother getting on COD unless at least one of my buddies are on. On the Friday after the game came out, my friend and I joined a game with a party already in session. One guy joked that my friend and I were "noobs" because we were up to level 7 or 9 or something. I told him that the game had only been out for three days, and him being a level 50 already probably meant he hadn't touched a tit, yet.
  20. Am I the only one that enjoys Special Ops more than the regular multiplayer? You don't have to listen to an eleven year old tell you you're gay, he fucked your mother, or how big his dick is. You get to just play with your best friends and do a lot of different missions. I've spent almost the whole time I've had the game playing those. I hope they release downloadable content that features more Special Ops missions.
  21. No, I'm not saying Manning wouldn't play at all. But there have been countless times when teams have wrapped up home field advantage, and have their starters play the first quarter, before taking them out to rest them and keep them healthy for the playoffs. Manning would never not start because of that. But I think Caldwell and the Colts would be conservative enough, to not throw Manning and Wayne and company into a game, just because they're losing 24-21 with three minutes to go in Week 17.
  22. Caldwell seems more like a conservative coach, then a go-for-the-throat type. I think he'd (and I'd agree with the move) be more likely to rest his players at the end of the season, focusing on winning the Super Bowl and not trying to make his dick bigger, like the Hoodie in New England. That's just the impression that I get from him. I could be wrong, and he could have Manning throwing four touchdowns on Week 17, though.
  23. Colts won't need to go undefeated. They'll clinch home field in Week 15 or 16 and rest their guys the last game or two, possibly resulting in a loss. As long as the Vikings remain on the Saints heels, though, they'll continue playing balls to the wall, so I'd say they're more likely to finish the regular season undefeated. No way do I see both teams doing it, though. Let alone both making it to the Super Bowl without a loss.
