Lost to Goddamned Army, 24-21. I lowered the passing percentage and my quarterback threw for 300 yards, 3 TD's and 0 interceptions. But my running game got like 52 yards on the ground. So it would seem my offensive production comes from the exact opposite of what I gameplan for. I'm sitting at 2-3. Hopefully, I can get two or three wins simulating, and pick up the three wins in the games that I play out. Very doubtful that that scenario will happen, but I can hope.

Nah. Yanks got'em. Have to feel sorry for the Twinkies, though. To come back and beat the Tigers in the 163rd game, only to lose the lead in all three games in the Divisional series. Oh, well. On to the Angels.

We have two other people in the league (aside from Biggzy, Hooded, and myself), but I've not seen them give any updates (not that they need to). But it has me wondering, are they still playing or just in the league and having everything simulated? Because if they're having their recruiting simulated, I'm going to change my approach on a particular player.

Once you abandoned the run, I just went to a quarter defense. So I rushed three, played zone coverage, stopped all man-to-man. The first half I was trying different blitz schemes and what not, but when I realized you were just going to throw, I went zone and we actually caused Pretty Boy Brady to throw bad passes. Good game. I enjoy playing non-cheesers and I'd definitely play you again.

Good game, Fitzy. I think highlights including dumbass Jabar Gaffney diving on the fumble with no one around him, realizing it, getting up and going in for a touchdown. And you having Mayo go to the lockeroom before the game got over while I killed the clock.

Well, Hell. I change my sim strategy every week to alter my gameplan for the upcoming opponent. And I've yet to find one that works well, despite starting 2-2. Yes, one of those wins was against a Division II school, but the first win was against BYU when they were #22. Anyway, I tried a game where we ran the ball 60% of the time, we averaged 2.3 yards a carry. Decided to air the ball out a lot this last game at SMU, and my quarterback completed 46% of his passes and threw three interceptions, after just throwing one in his first three games. I wish someone on the offensive side of the ball would step up and have a big game, so I know who to gameplan around.

I'm with you on that. I didn't hate it, but I sure as Hell wouldn't say I enjoyed it.

Alright, screw this. I wanted to watch Syracuse/South Florida, just to see how Paulus played and what not. FIVE turnovers in the first four minutes. Nevermind. Both these teams are playing so bad it makes my head hurt. I'll just stick with Minnesota/Wisconsin.

I simulated the first game of the season and took a 34-0 assraping at the hands of Tulsa. It's gonna be a looooooooooooong season.

I haven't come across the homefield advantage thing. I do tend to give up a goal in either extra time before the half or end of the game. Even if my defense is on their asses every other second, if the other team is going to score, it'll always be in extra time.

Sweet. Queen will be a blast on Rock Band night when I get to see all my drunk friends try to hit the same notes as Mercury.

I'm getting ready to hop on and get my preseason stuff done, so we can still advance on Thursday, if that's still the plan. And I'm done. Tulane is good to go. Again.
