  1. Beat the Chargers. Moreno finally had a BIG day for me breaking a 68-yard run, and then a thirty-some yard run for a touchdown. He had like nine carries for a hundred-and fourty or so yards. My defense has been awesome for me all season. We even had a pick-six in this last one, which almost never happens with me.
  2. And the Bills fired Dick Jauron.
  3. The bottom line is you DON'T go for it on fourth down on your own twenty-eight. There is no other word for that than "dumb". You're facing one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. Make him drive seventy, eighty yards to beat you, not thirty. It was stupid. Coach Bill tried to look like a big shot, and that wad shot back in his face. The end.
  4. I just had the opposite happen. I had been dominating the CPU's defense with my ground game. But Washington was giving me trouble. Luckily, Orton was up to the challenge and we were actually able to move the ball in the air. The game was closer than the score shows, thanks to a punt return for a touchdown by Eddie Royal with like two seconds left. Defense was dominating, though, we were playing up against Todd "Haha" Collins.
  5. Yeah, Dragsy, you can keep him. Thanks for the two first rounders and the third.
  6. I'm going to play my game tonight. I've been rather sick all week, and with Modern Warfare 2 being released, I haven't really had the motivation to play it. But it will be played tonight! (or tomorrow morning!)
  7. I'm not getting into whether I'm for or against the BCS, because I don't have the time or energy to get into that at this time. But I can't be the only one that misses January 1st being the be-all-end-all of college football, can I? I use to love watching all four of the major bowls on New Year's Day. That was always better than Christmas to me. I hate that they drag it out through the first week of January. Maybe that's just me, though.
  8. Alright, Steelers, I can admit when we get outplayed. I don't think it was a matter of being out-coached, but we were really out-played last night. It was only a matter of time before Kyle Orton showed his humanity and last night was that night. Hopefully, next week we can get back on the winning track when we face Washington.
  9. Come on TP and the Chiefs! Denver wants to see an upset.
  10. I'm watching too, so you aren't completely alone. And add me to the "Salt Lake? WTF?" group, as well. I predicted an LA championship at the beginning of the season. May as well stick with them to win it, now. I'm really ready for this season to get over though. Next year Philadelphia gets our MLS team and I'm so excited. Go UNION!
  11. I'm going to Notre Dame Stadium Saturday to watch my beloved Irish take on Navy. I'm stoaked. And Michael Floyd is cleared to play!
  12. I know it was against a shitty ass team, but TWELVE sacks for Wanana Jack Bandit!
  13. Yeah, I have a feeling in a year or two, Tennessee's defense is going to be so tough, you could put a dumb, fat kid at quarterback and they'd win. Knoxville may see a lot of 7-3 wins in their future.
  14. Broncos 25 Ravens 7 It would have been a shutout had I not been stupid and tried to throw as time expired. Naturally, Orton throws a pick and Ed Reed runs it back to the house. I was also screwed out of a touchdown at the end of the first half, as I called for everyone to run to the line of scrimmage for one more play, as Orton walked to the line. Oh, well. A win's a win, and I stay within striking range of the Raiders.
  15. The Broncos will be beating the Ravens shortly after I get home from work tonight. A prediction so nice, I had to post it twice.
  16. The Broncos will be beating the Ravens shortly after I get home from work tonight.
  17. There goes our undefeated season.
  18. Ah, ok. I didn't know that. And I was actually going to bump this thread today, to make sure it was still alive. Go Green Wave!
  19. So a lot of bad calls by the umpires in the ALCS. Angels looked like they didn't even want to win the majority of the series. The series easily could have swung the other way had they not made mistakes on some of the more fundamental plays. As for the World Series, I have the Yankees winning in six. Since I'm a Yankee fan and live in Philadelphia, I've really taken a beating here lately. So I'd love nothing more than for the Yanks to sweep them outright and shut everyone the hell up. And since I know the majority of this thread is posted in by Blue Jays fans, here is an update: Toronto still isn't in the World Series.
  20. I'm by no means a defender of Brett Favre, but why 'lol' him? That last pick went right through Chester Taylor's hands. It should've been caught. I was very impressed with the Vikings, considering a lot of people considered them soft, and they were playing at one of the toughest stadiums in the NFL.
  21. All I have to say is: They sure as Hell didn't run up the score in Denver!
  22. Double post, but oh well. What a beautiful touchdown catch by Golden Tate! He's such an awesome receiver. Come on, Irish!
  23. Yeah, Terrel Pryor still hasn't shown me shit. The announcers can suck his cock all they'd like, but he fails to convert when they need it. He can make plays with his legs, but he's just another athlete-quarterback, and not a quarterback-quarterback.
  24. Put up the slowest 56-yard TD catch ever.
