  2. Yep, the American owners are not winning any friends with their conduct. I do think that the point about how much was spent in the summer (taking tranfers both in and out into account) is a key one. The club won't progress under any manager if they don't push the boat out and buy 2 or 3 more players of Torres' calibre (spending a bit to keep hold of Mascherano would be a start). Still, the rotation policy (which is over-emphasised everywhere when results are going badly) is an issue when the players coming in are not of the same quality as those being 'rested' (Torres out, Voronin in). The first eleven is lacking in quality too. Wide left is a big concern. Wide right is also a slight worry but Pennant and Benayoun have done okay. A partner for Torres is also a problem. I would like to see him paired with Babel for 2 or 3 games, as I feel Babel is wasted wide left.

  9. I don't see why Moyes isn't playing Carsley every week hes alot better than Neville. Yeah Nevilles a good leader but he can pass a ball or cross it. Carsley sits in the midfield and breaks up the play and was Man Of The Match yesterday. Overall it was a good performance but we should of been cruising really. I think the had one shot on goal and scored from it. Yakubu had a really good game aswell as Jagielka and Carsley. Arteta definatly wasn't fit though but we still saw his magic a few times. Overall a deserved win.
  10. Did you have your eyes closed during the replay?

  14. The Libertines are yes a great band. I prefer Cant Stand Me Now, What A Waster and Boys In the Band to the rest of the songs. Up the Bracket was the best album and they really should of stayed together. But I think the Arctic Monkeys are alot better than The Libertines, Well there first album anyway. You couldn't pick a bad song of "Whatever People Say I Am Thats What I'm Not" although i thought that the new album wa pretty disapointing but thats probably due to comparing it with the first one. I couldn't give a toss for some Indie bands, e.g the Kooks, Razorlight etc etc because there just too damn poppy. I think that Indie and Indie Rock are two different things totally. Indie Rock is more Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Libertines. Indie is more The Kooks, Razorlight, The Feeling.

  19. Barton signed for Newcastle for £5.8m. Ben Haim To Chelsea. If Sunderland sign Nugent i'd be more than happy I don't think we should chance £6m on a championhip striker.
