    YI Reviews CD's

Chris Cornell - Euphoria Morning My personal favourite album of the now, it'll be interesting to see what you have to say about it. Any Jamiroquai album. Because they deserve to be pimped and pimped again. The Postal Service - Give Up Because they're cunts and won't make a new one. That'll do for now. If I think of any others, I'll add them in.
  2. England: Pulp, Judas Priest USA: Pixies, Pearl Jam Canada: Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire Germany: KMFDM, Rammstein Scotland: Mogwai Iceland: Sigur Ros, Bjork Italy: Lacuna Coil Gibraltar: Breed 77 Wales: lostprophets Puerto Rico: The Mars Volta (Decided to use one of their many ethnicities ) Japan: Mad Capsule Markets Australia: Silverchair If I think of anything more, I'll edit it in.
  3. I watched it, but only caught the second half. Seemed good though from what I saw. However, I think Nick Frost may have been outshone by the actor who played the crazy cadet. The one who was fell in love with that creature. He was in Nighty Night, and is at in the Kraftwerk tribute thing on Bewilderness, if I recall rightly. Any ideas on a name, because he is rather good? Anyway, yeah, will definately be watching it next week. Very enjoyable, and a good premise.
  4. Sven's scared of overloading the team with sexiness, something adding Barry would surely do. On a side note, in said article (NOTW one), Sven also is reported to have called Rooney 'rough', said SWP wasn't 'worth his transfer fee', and that Giggs 'wants to play for England, rather than Wales'. Interesting.

  6. I haven't read the article in the link, but wasn't this all revealed as a set up this morning? From what I read, it was the News Of The World, posing as a sheik, to talk to Erikkson about taking over Villa, just to show his lack of loyalty over the England job. Kind of annoyed me how they had to use Villa though. Although no team really deserves to have more uncertainty and negative press around it, Villa really don't need it right now with the team unhappiness already, and the constant takeover talk already.

The Comatorium That section of The Comatorium offers hella loads of TMV bootlegs, trades and requests. Mixture of kinds, mainly MP3's though. Some FLAC.

  11. A compact is a hand-held mirror thing that people use to apply make-up. Perhaps the 'collision' talked about is one of her walking into the policeman/'badge'?
  12. I think it's just a song. A 'fun' one as Serj calls them. Along with Vicinity Of Obscenity, which is apparantly the 'successor' to Chop Suey. Either way, it's a good song.
  13. Can't believe I missed it >_< Until Alan Davies is made Doctor, the true potential of the second coming of Doctor Who will never be realised anyway

    Hard-Fi

They are alright yeah. Those instrumentals are way better though. I hate the singer guy. He looks like a cock, he speaks like a cock, he moves like a cock on 'stage'. Only letdown.

  17. The doctor prescribes cowbell....I mean, suicide.... And Fraggle Rock was fucking awesomeness. There's going to be a film? Why did no-one tell me? Fraggle Rock is what made my childhood.

    Looking For A..

Awesome track. This is as good a place as any to ask, does anyone know if - seemingly live favourite - 'Fuckin' Up' is a cover, or an actual Pearl Jam track? Because at the beginning of one of the gigs I've heard, I'm sure he says about it being one of 'their Canadian friends songs', but he doesn't always, so was wondering.
  19. Broken Social Scene Panic! At The Disco Sigur Ros Saul Williams The Decemberists That's what my playlist contains right now anyway.

Sufjan Stevens, any of his CDs. The 2nd Disc of In Your Honour is mellow. You of course need some Sigur Ros, but beware, not all their tracks are mellow. The String Quartet are mellow, because, y'know, they're a string quartet. Plus they play all your favourite tracks. And depending on your view of mellow, give The Postal Service and The Decemberists a go.
