  1. Well, yesterday didn't turn out that bad after all. City drawing after my mate (City fan) had texted me during Villa/United (1-0: "Hahaha, the streak will end today!", 2-0: "LOSERS", 2-1: ".. don't, please don't", 2-2: "cunts >_>") was fun and Stoke beating Liverpool brightened up my day. I just hope Sunderland pull off a miracle today and Everton can match Arsenal at Goodison. My fingers are crossed. It seems Rooney might be back for the Wigan game next weekend. Interesting to see what kind of reception he gets at OT. Let's hope he'll get himself back in form (we need him, no matter how much I despise him right now) and actually bothers to try now that he's making £200k a week.
  2. Shit result, but we'll take it. Villa really should've won that match.
  3. It's always annoying when a derby game finishes 0-0. Rio and especially Vidic looked really good, though, so at least we were solid in the back (until O'Shea and Brown came on ). I just hope Evra and Rafael won't be sidelined for long, otherwise we're fucked with those two covering the flanks. Glad to see Berba look like he actually gave a shit and play well, he should've been kept on to the final whistle. Men of the match: him and Vidic. Oh well, it was always going to be a draw. Neither team risked it, neither team took a single chance to go for it - not even in the end. It kinda tells you our gameplan when Man United don't go all-out for the win in stoppage time. I guess I should be satisfied with a draw then.
  4. Holy fuck what a goal! I'm liking it now, looks like Chelsea's lead will finally be reduced from 5pts to 2.
  5. Well I'll be damned. Torres makes it 1-0. Liverpool look great. ... I liked it when they didn't.
  6. Well, let's hope Hernandez can pull one out of the bag like he did in the Carling Cup. Take Bebe off already. Jesus. :/
  7. Phew, luckily Park scored to make us all feel a lot better about this horrid performance so far. Watching Bebe makes me un-fucking-comfortable. I'm liking Obertan & Chicharito up front (it's basically a 4-4-1-1), though. They seem like a lively pairing, just need more supply to make things happen.
  8. Yay for Hargreaves! Also, I'm starting to actually enjoy watching Bolton. Coyle's doing a great job in transforming them into an entertaining side. Loving it.
  9. Fair enough, I've been proven wrong - and I'm actually quite pleased about it. Like I said back during that argument, I'd love it if Spurs did well in the CL and now they are doing well. No complaints from me.
  10. No chance if Spurs qualify for the CL again. Just can't see it. The Bursaspor fans were glorious in Turkey. I'm a sucker for chants, songs and crowd reactions in general, so I enjoyed the last 10 minutes of the match more than the previous 80 simply due to the fantastic crowd. They were jumping and singing like they'd just won the league.
  11. Obertan just made it 2-0 with his first United goal. Beautiful finish, he's looking great. Too slow, eh? And now it's Bebe, 3-0!
  12. Berbatov back to his old antics. Just go home if you don't give a fuck. 2-0 Spurs!
  13. So the controversial referee decisions continue. Sloppy penalty awarded for Blackpool and a red card followed for Ibanez. 1-0 Blackpool.
  14. Horrendous decision by the ref, but to finally get our season going I'll take any kind of goal to seal a big win. Sure, Spurs have been 'robbed' in the past against us but this is something I can't understand. If you concede four goals in 15 minutes I'd say the problem is something else than one bad call from the referee.
  15. United-Wolves is boring and frustrating to watch. Nothing really happening, and when it seems like something might, a sloppy pass, a clumsy mistake etc. always ruins it. What I've gathered so far is that Obertan looks energetic, Bebe has a few nice tricks up his sleeve but needs to work on the basics, Macheda's still pretty weak and riding off his cult hero status, and Wes Brown should never ever try playing a through ball again. Nice to see all the 'youngsters' on the pitch, though. Just hope the 2nd half produces some more excitement. And now Bebe's attempted (I think) cross just went in, yay! .. and Elokobi just equalized. We've got a game on our hands.
  16. This feels better than the win against Liverpool. Might be the one that turns our season around. What I love about Hernandez is not only his goal scoring ability, but also his composure. He drops back a lot and looks cool and calm on the ball, waiting patiently for an opening before trying to pass the ball. And 9 times out of 10 he comes up with something solid. I can't remember too many times he's given away possession despite being in some tight situations. And then there's his knack of scoring goals. We need a player like that now that Rooney's injured all the time (and playing shit). About the negatives, yeah, O'Shea didn't look too good but Carrick (after he came on) was way worse. He should be kept on the bench 'cause he just looks horrible. I recall him getting, what, three or four touches on the ball and two times he lost it. But all in all I'd say the defense did their job pretty well (by this season's standards, at least), seeing how they coped with all the Delap throw-ins and corners and whatnot. Had Stoke not equalized I'd have said the defensive display was way more satisfying than what we were able to come up in attack. Now come on Arsenal!
  17. CHICHARIIITOOOOOO!!! Now please, please, please, don't mess this up.
  18. First he does a one-two with his own face against Chelsea, now he scores with the back of his head. What's next, his arse? Gotta love Chicharito. Neville got lucky there. The first yellow card probably should not have been given, but that was dirty.
  19. Pompey's out of administration. One Mr. Westwood must be a happy chap right now.
  20. A nice move planned by Mr. Stretford, I'll give him that. Haven't him and Rooney made us all look stupid. Not that I've fallen in love with him again, he'll have to start playing well and earn back everyones support. ... ten quid on him scoring against Stoke, anyone? Oh, yeah, that. I'm starting to lose count already.
