  1. Getting Live for Christmas finally. Running an ethernet cord through my house to our modem for it. Can't wait to play some COD 5 or Halo 3 with you lads.
  2. I played this online for the first time last night and even though I suck, I got the "Let Sleeping Rockstars Die" achievement on a gamertag I will only be using until Christmas when I get my gold membership.
  3. Haddaway - "What is Love" Chamillionaire - "Ridin' Dirty" Europe - "The Final Countdown" Ricky Martin - "La Vida Loca"
  4. Well, I am glad that Syracuse is finally getting some recognition, with it coming from their win against Notre Dame. It's been a hard couple of years as a Syracuse fan, and I still vaguely remember the Donovan McNabb days here at 'Cuse which were big. It's sad what we have turned into, but our running back Antwon Bailey really showed me something late in the game there. He was just running at will against the Irish's defense. He had more rushes and yards today than he did in all the games combined this year as he ran 16 times for 126 yards and a touchdown. He is going to be something special. ... And it would be nice if Texas Tech decided to show up sometime tonight.
  5. Jurassic Park 3 - The first one was awesome and the second one was my favorite of the entire series, but as much as I did like JP3 upon opening up (I was 10 at the time, so hey), it really was an awfully shitty movie. There needs to be a fourth one and I still think that the Jurassic Park series could easily pump out a few more films. Hell, if you wanted to wait a little bit longer, you could remake the first and second to be just like Crichton's book. I just want my damn Jurassic Park! Rocket Science - Not sure how many of you saw this movie, but I loved this and think it's a cult classic. It would be interesting to see just where everything lands following the ending of the movie and I know I would love to see it. and the one sequel I would fucking do ANYTHING for and haven't seen yet... CLOVERFIELD - I mean, FUCKING CLOVERFIELD!!! It's my all time favorite monster movie at least and was the most hyped movie I have ever been ready for. Following it since July of '07 when the viral scene first started, I was more into this movie than anything in recent memory. I seriously thought this was the coup de gras when it came to movies. The only thing I hated was that I fucking SPOILED THE MOVIE for myself by trying to find out what the monster was. I ended up reading a review of an early screening before seeing the movie and it pissed me off. I really think a sequel is needed, whether it be in camcorder form or in a regular movie form, there is so much they can do with this and if JJ Abrams was serious about making Clover into what Godzilla is to Japan, then he could easily do it with two or three more movies.
  6. I was rooting for both men in this one to be quite honest, but I still think it was too soon for Lesnar to get the belt. Now he has a reason to be even cockier then before. Couture will be back and if Mir beats Nog, then we can get Brock vs. Mir 2 and Randy vs. Nog. Tough night as an MMA fan. Kind of happy to see the man I followed in the 'E do it, but Randy's a great man. Can't wait for Ultimate 2008 now. Should be even better.
  7. I haven't read any of the spoilers or anything in this thread. I have been looking forward to this game for an insanely long amount of time, but when it came out, I didn't have enough money. Well, that's going to change in two weeks when I finally get my hands on this. I can't wait to play me some Fallout 3!
  8. I think Lesnar is going to be able to hang in there, but it will be a 4th round TKO victory for Couture.
  9. I'd be down for a league if you guys wanna do one.
  10. While I have only been to the Warped Tour 2008 show at Darien Lake, this is a toss up between the 3OH!3 act and the Forever! the Sickest Kids act. Both of them had their ups and no real downs. For me, this was a truly great day and one that I would relive any day of the week. However, I would have to give the nod to 3OH!3 only for the fact that when we returned back to high school in September of this past year, 3OH!3 was like the biggest phenomenon ever. Everyone who was anyone listened to them and now all have their myspace profiles littered with their songs, thus making it so special that I got to see them live.
  11. Is currently on CBS and looks live... What the fuck? When did this happen?!
  12. I love it. Michael Crabtree is a fucking god!
  13. Apparently, there is a god. I am so happy that Tampa is going to the World Series being a fan of the underdogs myself. Even if it isn't the Yankees, I am damn DAMN happy that it's the Tampa Bay Rays. So, in the words of Matt Garza on TBS. "...shit"
  14. I bought the NWA's "Straight Outta Compton" album the other day (20th Anniversary Edition) along with T.I.'s "T.I. Vs. T.I.P." album. Both are great, and I can't wait to get me some more T.I. I believe he is slowly becoming my favorite artist which used to be held by Kanye West until he decided to just sing the entire 808's and Heartbreaks album.
  15. That's like saying Rashad got lucky with his knockout, Gonzaga got lucky with his high kick on Cro Cop, Serra got lucky by TKO'ing St. Pierre. The list of "luck" goes on and on, but at some point, there is a difference between skill and luck. Luck is when something happens like Tito going to punch Ken and he slips, falling into the punch. Skill is KO'ing or submitting a fighter without any outside interference, which there was none of in the Rashad KO, Gonzaga KO, Serra TKO, or Seth TKO.
  16. Yeah, I can somewhat agree with that Httk, because people will wanna see how Kimbo can rebound. But let's be honest here, will the casual MMA fan really say "Wow, this guy just lost in 13 seconds. So let's waste a Saturday night and see if he can beat someone?". I mean no casual MMA fan knew who the fuck Seth Petruzelli was, but they sure as hell knew who Kimbo Slice was. So I can see both sides here. Kimbo might be able to get that drawing power, but I just don't know. Maybe if Slice works on some stuff then he can get tons better, but the only analogy I can think of that would be good for Kimbo is that this fight was like Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop with Double G knocking out Cro Cop with the high kick. Granted, look at what happened to Cro Cop's career after that, but he sure as hell didn't just die after it. Then again, Kimbo doesn't exactly have the same credentials as Cro Cop.
  17. The only way I could see this as the "Hollywood Script" HttK is if Kimbo plays a "Rocky" like Seth and ends up going on to beat him in a rematch somewhere down the line like Rocky did to Apollo Creed.
  18. You know, I really do agree with you, because I do feel for Kimbo. He does have the heart, but damn it, he has had how long to at least improve on something? He just went out there and lost to a Light Heavyweight in 13 seconds. 13 seconds! I mean, to put this in perspective, the 185 lbs. Ikuhisa Minowa lasted longer with a 230 lbs. Mirko Cro Cop... What's that tell ya?
  19. I am calling a big hyped fight between Tito Ortiz and Seth Petruzelli sometime in 2009. I do love the story however of Shamrock falling out of the main event, Petruzelli steps in last second, moving from nowhere to the main event (kind of like John Morrison did at Vengeance: NOC back in '07 to make a wrestling analogy) and make himself a star in 13 seconds. It really is one of those stories that are hard to come by.
  20. The internet just exploded in the matter of 13 seconds... And Gene, I think it's justifiable this time. WAR SETH!
  21. I agree that Rogers would be nice, although I am not a real big fan of him. Is there really any other heavyweights in EliteXC currently besides Kimbo, "Big Foot" Silva, and Rogers? That is barring any EliteXC and Affliction partnership heavy's.
  22. Yeah, I was reaching there. I wasn't sure if the Fedor advertisements might have been foreseeing into the future. Just hopeful wishing by me, although I did stay up all night to watch Fedor take on Hong Man Choi on the internet and did go to Wild Wings to see Fedor vs. Sylvia, so I guess that no matter what, I will do what it takes to see Fedor fight. Though I wish he would go fight in DREAM at some point. And I am wondering if anyone will be able to stop Jake Shields. Him, GSP, and if you wanna count Penn are all atop the Welterweight division right now and are ahead of the competition by a mile.
  23. Meh, Nelson hung in there with a former World champion, so I can live with it. I am predicting that Arlovski will face Barnett in January at the Affliction show and maybe Fedor will fight on the next EliteXC card on CBS? But I am just reaching for that one.
  24. I will keep it here, because Roy Nelson is the man.
  25. Yeah, that fight was really good. I am surprised Kobald stayed in their for as long as she did. WAR BIG COUNTRY!!!
