I did get into Spider-Man 2 tonight, and came out feeling the same as I did about the first after my first viewing of it. It was good. How good?....I'll have to wait until Tuesday to see how it holds up. I'm only waiting on a rating because of the way I flip-flopped on the first back when it came out and I saw it for a second time. Although I could end up eating this, I would say that #2 is probably gonna receive close to(or the same) 7.5/10 rating I gave the first.

The movie was lame and featured some of the silliest child acting I've ever seen. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the there was only one flashback and it was 5 minutes long.....but there's about 4 or 5, and they take up a good portion of the flick. The only good thing the movie had going for it was that it was kinda fun to guess how fucked up things would be after he messed with the past. ** or (4/10)

I think that's a bad idea for the Farrell picture....they could actually build the advertising campaign around it. I don't know many people who saw Monster's Ball for the acting, sadly enough.

I can't think of anyone else playing Wolverine in the X-Men movies. Jackman is great. The only other one that comes to mind is Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden in Fight Club.

Sounds promising(from what I've read)....and I liked the first, so I'll check it out.

I'm gonna see it in a week or so....when I can spend a free ticket on it. My friend thinks it looks funny. What a douche.

I saw it twice yesterday. It's a fun little movie to see with a packed, emotional crowd. I had fun both times. I encourage everyone interested in it to go see it some time in the next week and a half.....when the crowds are the biggest.

Mallrats - **** or (8/10) - (Y) Fahrenheit 9/11 - ***1/2 or (7/10) - (Y) Saw it twice, back to back. TONIGHT I SEE SPIDEY 2. No review until Tuesday.

I like the movie, but I felt this needed to be tossed in to the convo for those that weren't already aware... I lost my V-Club Membership during this flick when I was 15.

I found it to be "meh". The parts I actually found funny were too spread out, and they seemed to think that everytime a laugh was needed that someone had to take a foreign object to the face. Ben Stiller didn't make me laugh at all(except for the parts that were given away in the trailer), Vince Vaughn was bland, etc... There were some really good laughs to be had though. ESPN 8 "The Ocho" and Ben Stiller dancing to that Milkshake song in the fat-suit made me laugh like crazy....but in the end, I disliked it. **1/2 or (5/10)

Toy Story 2 - ****1/2 or (9/10) Toy Story - ****1/2 or (9/10) Finding Nemo - **** or (8/10) Monster's Inc. - ***1/2 or (7/10) A Bug's Life - ***1/2 or (7/10) Toy Story 2 is one of those cases where the sequel is far better than the original IMO.

I see it on Saturday....but I think I'll keep my thoughts on it unknown until I see it for a second time at the midnight showing on the 29th. The first seemed a lot different on a second viewing.

I kind of attribute that to the actors being older now. I didn't find it too much darker....but it did feel a tad different. I'd say that has to do with the change in director. It was fun, for the most part, although I thought that it could have been way shorter. It felt every second of the 150 minute running time. Hopefully the next one will be as good. Although I don't really know how they get everything from a 500 page book into a movie.

I saw it last night....it's a one note joke. But that's not a problem if you find it funny. I did.

1. I turned down the chance to see HP tonight, as I have business to take care of....it doesn't even have to be great to fit into my weak-ass Top 10. 2. My pants are already down in anticipation for Catwoman. I'll be there for the first showing.

Thank God....Beatnik and I think enough alike that it gives me some hope going into it. It's been shat on by other people I've talked to that I value the opinions of.
