  1. Glen Mazzara basically revealed on Twitter one of the things that led to his dismissal. It was said to be creative differences, and he tweeted/re-tweeted a lot of people asking about flashbacks. He called them all stupid for wanting to see flashbacks, because they don't propel the story. He then deleted all of them. The only one that remains is someone asking if we'll see a flashback for Michone regarding her pets, to which he simply responds "Cool idea." Flashbacks have their place, especially in a story like that. One of my favorite things to see was the survivors leaving the city just as it was being napalmed. It's interesting. It fills in the gaps, and if done correctly, can propel the story forward. If Mazzara leaving means we get to see more gems like that, I'm all for it. Also, as showrunner, he was supposedly terrible at scheduling things and production had to be halted multiple times because Mazzara and his team weren't through writing what was being filmed.
  2. Merle will probably try and take Rick's hand, only to be stopped. This way you get your "Oh shit here it comes!" moment, but then also enough of a stray from the comic to be original. Since Merle would be the one to take the hand in the tv series, not The Governor, you gotta take in to account that the comic book didn't have Merle, his character dynamic, his brother Daryl, and his character dynamic. It's a completely different situation.
  3. Maggie isn't going anywhere. Daryl isn't going anywhere, The Governor SHOULDN'T die, and I think Carol can be expanded on A LOT more. Hershel and Merle are the only two mainstays who I think are gone after this season. Although I'd keep Merle alive to get a full season of him trying to migrate back in to the group. Hershel should sacrifice himself.
  4. So there isn't much to go on, but these certain scenes have haunted my memory for years. It's gotten to the point where I don't know if their real, or if my mind created them. If you have any ideas what movies these may be, please tell me! The first is an old movie. Probably from the 60's, or 70's. It's a childrens movie I believe. These two kids, orphans I believe, are forced to live with two evil people (a man and a woman) but they wish to live with this old man, possibly a grandfather, who the town deems a drunk. The main thing I remember is a seen where the old man drives a golfcart or something, on Halloween, and it's made to look like an eyeball. The second movie, is the movie I really don't expect anyone to be able to help me with. This guy is in love with this girl, but he thinks she is out of his league. He sneaks in to watch her rehearse with her band. He watches from the rooftop area. They play "Because the Night". That's all I remember. Anyway, that's it. Just looking to finally attach these scenes to an actual movie.
  5. I've been watching. I'm hooked. You can definitely see how Kevin Williamson was going to use this whole idea for the plot for Scream 3.
  6. I sure hope he... TURNIPS soon! ... He's a vegetarian.
  7. I enjoy Talking Dead, because they don't prohibit the host/guests from talking bad about the show, if they want to. So entertaining discussions have happened about the show and the zombie apocalypse in general.
  8. Spoiler: Click here to viewI'm pretty sure Matthew Fox doesn't know. Last I knew Fox didn't even have confirmation that he'd be in the final episode: Spoiler: Click here to viewOnly Hurley had that confirmation, Rose also got confirmation she'd be alive by the final episode but not necessarily in it, IIRC. And I dunno, I wouldn't have thought Jack or Locke was Jacob, Jack because it doesn't particularly make sense and Locke because well Locke's spent forever trying to find out who the fuck Jacob is. I'm not saying I believe Locke to be Jacob, but I don't think it's out of Lost's realm of possibility for the latter to simply be explained with, "To figure out who Jacob is, you must look within yourself." or some other philosophical bullshit directed at Locke by Richard or Ben or Widmore or something.
  9. Why the hell does only the UK and other countries get awesome zombie based television shows? America sucks.
  10. People consider Superman Returns to be the Superman movie in the Christopher Reeves canon that they never got to make. It's the finale. A lot of people (writers) didn't want to continue with the whole son storyline from Superman Returns also.
  11. The problem being that the first two movies showed the rise and fall of organized crime in Gotham. Batman has all but wiped it out at this point, which is supposed to make way for the freaks and monsters. I highly doubt we'll see a mob type character as anything more than background noise in future installments. Whatever villains they do use, will most likely come from the rogues gallery, and take some minor-to-major tweaking before they can logically fit into the universe Nolan has crafted. So while I wouldn't rule any character out based on levels of realism, because Nolan will tinker until it works, I would rule out the major use of any character who would be a part of organized crime. True, BUT... the "white knight" of Gotham that had a major hand in disposing of all organized crime in Gotham... is no more. With the almighty Harvey Dent gone and the police's forces all focused on bringing in Batman, it leaves plenty of space for a new crime lord to emerge, which could potentially usher in Penguin. The way I look at it, we could potentially see one to five villains in the next movie, with anything more than three being absolute over kill. 1. There is still a HUGE amount of story to tell with The Joker should they decide to recast him, which might cause some bickering. 2. Should they go the route of Joker being locked up in Arkham, there is the chase of developing the character of Harley Quinn. 3. If Mr. Reese was indeed intended to be a new set up for the introduction of The Riddler, I think that could work out rather well. Just keep in mind that his name "Mr. Reese" or whatever his first name was, could simply be a fake name anyway. There are multiple ways around that snag. 4. Two Face could very well be alive. They only said that Harvey Dent had died... and by all accounts and purposes, he had. 5. With Dent no longer erradicating the underground crime world in Gotham, it opens up the opportunity for new crime lord, such as Penguin to emerge. I don't know, all of those options I think fit quite well into Nolan's universe. I highly doubt we're going to see people such as Killer Croc or Clayface, or even Bane or Mr. Freeze this time around. I'd be shocked if Two Face doesn't somehow play a major role in the next movie, as well as another cameo from Scarecrow, along with the introduction of at least one new character... unless of course they DO recast Joker... ITS NOT ITS NOT ITS NOT ITS NOT JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ITS NOT LET IT GO. Oh I know Bruce Wayne is Batman, oh wow he saved my life. Lets fuck with him. Yeah thats some spectacular character development right there, clearly thats the direction they're going. And clearly its going to be the same guy because Josh Harto is definately the guy Warner Brothers wants on the posters for the follow up to one of the highest grossing films of all time. Now you're just assuming The Riddler will be the main character, which was never even confirmed, and can't be because there is no script even being written right now. Its assumption. Hell, maybe the Riddler will be in the next movie, but not be the main bad guy, thus, a bigger name will get on the poster. And frankly, Warner Bros can put the batman logo on a solid black background, with the title and date, and people will flock.
  12. He's not. Those are his actual dark eyelashes. I think they're purrty.
  13. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to go again so soon. If not, dismiss this.
  14. I actually don't think that looks terrible. Certainly Disaster Movie looks far worse. The "All the good ones are gone!" line had me chuckle.
  15. I do hope I did this right... Mine isn't spectacular, lol, but I thought it was... "cute" for lack of a better word. Though a better word, or words might be "cheap" or "talentless".
  16. Would make perfect sense though. He knows the identity of Batman. He could lead clues to the media (Perhaps to Engal) about who it is. You just need to have someone who he can hide behind, because his stature doesn't exactly make you fear him. The Riddler is all about his brains, not his braun. Gee, let's see... Who could he hide behind that he could string along with the promise of Batman's identity... Hm... Joker? Two-Face? Both would make perfect sense giving the history Nolan has created. Which is why I don't think Two-Face is dead, and I think Joker will be back.
  17. Mr. Reese the man who planned to blackmail Bruce Wayne. Mr. Reese Mr. Reese Mysteries. That is all.
