  1. Well, a few of the songs on there are some really good songs...let's see. Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" This is a classic, and you know it has staying power/is one of the all time greats, just because not only was it big when it was originally released, but when the younger generations heard it in 1993 or whenever "Wayne's World" came out, they made it a number 1 single AGAIN. Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I know everyone says Nirvana had better songs, and that's possibly true, but this song truly changed the music industry. No longer were we bopping around to "I Think We're Alone Now" or rocking to the synth sounds of "The Final Countdown", this was the first song to change that. Ozzy Osbourne "Crazy Train" Ok, ok, other's might say "Iron Man" or something else by Ozzy or Black Sabbath, but this is THE Ozzy song, and THE rock song. Everyone knows whats coming when the song starts with it's "ALL ABOARD, HA HA HA HA HA HA", you just know it's time to jump aboard the Crazy Train! Linkin Park "In The End" Don't flame me!! Actually, I don't care. This song is the biggest rock song in years. I know, I know, Daughtry and Nickelback have probably out sold it, but this was the first non-mainstream rock song, nay, album to shoot up the charts. I know some people here consider the Hybrid Theory album to be mainstream, but if you go listen to it again, most of that stuff would not have been a hit. Heck, most of it wasn't, as I don't recall "One Step Closer" getting too big, and while "Crawling" had a decent amount of airplay, it was in no way huge. Coheed and Cambria "Welcome Home" I am not a HUGE C&C fan, so when this song came out, I kind of ignored it. The more and more I listened to it, though, the more I realized this is the kind of rock song that we are missing now-a-days, and is possibly my favorite song ever. I'd say that's a good list of my favorite 5 songs of all time.
  2. That was possibly the funniest movie I have seen in my entire life! Going in I was skeptical, just, well, because with so much build up, you just expect it to not be as good. This one was hilarious, my stomach is actually hurting from laughing so much. I thought the McLovin character was, by far, the funniest, although credit also has to go to his on-screen partners (trying to avoid spoilers ). I did notice, however, that the "McLovin? Sounds like a sexy cheeseburger" line from the previews didn't make the final cut, although I may have just been laughing so hard I missed it. EDIT: Oh yeah, was there anything after the drawings in the ending credits with McLovin? None of my friends would stay until the end of the credits, and I didn't want to be sitting there alone in the theatre, cause everyone else left, too.
  3. Just got back from seeing the Bourne Ultimatum... Let me first say, I absolutely loved the first two Bourne movies, and had high expectations. Well, those expectations were met!! Possibly EXCEEDED!! Way better than Simpsons Movie Great action scenes, plus the way they were able to mix in stuff was done just as well, if not better, than the first two. Also loved that the ending from the second one was actually half way through this one. Loved the stuff with Nikki, too, and Pamela Landy's character development was awesome. Just awesome all around, HOWEVER, I'm one of those annoying people who obsesses over the little things that most people don't think about. Like what happens to Nikki and Bourne/Webb after he survives at the end. Also, with what happened to the CIA agents, does Landy get a promotion?? Though, like the friends I went with, they said who gives a hoot, it was a good movie, and they are right. It was awesome, and the ending left me able to make my own conclusions. ANYWAY, two thumbs up, anyone else see it/other Bourne movies and love 'em?

My favorite episodes (aside from "My Lunch", which was one of the best episodes ever) are the ones where they focus on other characters. "His Story", "His Story 2", "Her Story", "His Story 3", "Her Story 2", "His Story 4", and "Their Story" are my favorites, just because it lets you have the inner-workings of their mind. Not to mention, "Her Story" has given me my new way of cursing (frick, frick on a stick, and frick on a stick with a brick) as well as a nice name to call a girl when she bends over (camel butt), WOOT!
  5. Just saw it, it was okay. There were some laugh-out-loud points, but just seemed like a regular episode. Still, it was worth the $5 that I paid to see it (thank you early shows). Definitely good enough to go see at least once. I'm traumatized, and feel like a pedophile, tho...
  6. A big group of us are going to see it early on Friday, probably around 5 right after we all get off work. I'm thinking about backing out, not because I don't want to see it, but because one of the guys who I just heard was invited is one of those annoying movie goers. You know, he yells out completely stupid things like "I have a small penis" for no reason, stands up and grinds on your shoulder, might give you a lap dance, yells at the screen if he thinks something is stupid. Ugh, I hate him so much...
  7. I think this is really funny, because a few weeks ago me and my youngest brother were naming the people we thought could replace Barker, and one of us jokingly said Drew Carey. We went on, for the next hour, making jokes about how he would do. We actually were figuring that he would bring Ryan Stiles or Wayne Brady on the show, and we were making jokes about how he would bring them out. We also were saying one of the models who shows the stuff should definitely be Mimi. Well, it doesn't seem as funny now, but you had to be there, I guess...
  8. "Everything Comes Down To Poo" had better win the best original song. I liked "Guy Love", but there was just something special about "ECDTP".
  9. I saw Hostel in theaters, and I thought it was ok. Ok enough that I went and bought it on it's release date. The thing that turns me off about Hostel 2 (and why I haven't seen it) is, it's essentially the exact same movie, just with chicks this time. I can not stand seeing remakes or something, cause the ending is always the same. That's why I didn't care to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, that's why I don't care to see the newer Bond flicks, etc. If it's the same story arch, and the same ending, why waste the money twice? I know what's going to happen! Hostel II spoilers ahead! Spoiler: Click here to viewNot to mention, the Paxton character getting killed off in the first 10 minutes of the film ruins it. You'd think he'd have a bigger part or something, you know, so that his surviving the previous film actually meant something. I know a few of my friends who didn't see it cause it is a waste of the character.

    Clutch

I know of Clutch, not a HUUUUGE fan, but a friend of mine is a pretty big one. She introduced me to a few of their songs that are pretty good. "The Mob Goes Wild" is good, as is "10001110101". There's one other song that I really liked, but I can't think of the title off hand. I will ask my friend and see if she knows and edit it into this post.

Am I the only one who is wondering what would happen to Keith?? Or does no one care about him as much as I do? He's one of my favorite characters.
  13. I just finally watched it. There were some scenes that I loved. Actually, a lot. I liked Jameson, again, he's friggin' hilarious, though. Also, like everyone else, I was laughing my ass off at Maître d’. Not to mention Parker's strut down the street was great. However, I, personally, felt like there wasn't enough character development. My brother joined me in seeing this movie, and argued with me profusely. I just felt like we didn't learn enough about Brock, would have liked to see more of Harry's amnesia stuff. I thought they could have done so much more with Harry's character. When Goblin and Spidey were fighting at the end, I thought it was awesome. The two of them teaming up was great, and I was angry they killed Harry off so quickly after the fight. Topher Grace was great as Venom, I thought, he just portrayed the cocky asshole so well. I just wish we would have seen more of him. I'm iffy on the whole movie. I can't complain too much, because I was entertained for the entire 2 hours. However, it just seemed too rushed for me. It seemed like they needed another 2 hours to get all of their stories over. I...just...I don't know, 6 or 7 out of 10, it just left a sour taste in my mouth. Definitely preferred the other two to this one, although I really didn't want to.
  14. How can you not feel bad for Eric and Danielle? Seriously, they have been yielded twice, not to mention the fact they got stuck at the back of the pack with the Guidos for a few legs, AND Charla and Mirna got put on a flight ahead of them when they were clearly higher than them on the waiting list. I hope they win just cause of all the shit the other teams have put them through, they seem to be the ones that most deserve it.
  15. I am supposed to be seeing Flyleaf and Dropping Daylight tomorrow (as well as Skillet), so we'll see how that goes. Let me know how good those two are.
  16. Wasn't Bellick the guy laying on the floor with the black eye as Michael was walking through that hallway? Looked like him...
  17. I am not sure how I felt about the episode, I really have to wait until fall to figure out if I did or didn't like it. I mean, with all the crazy crap happening:
  18. Ya know, I've been having my top 10 songs each week in my profile for going on 6 months now... Anyway, some good stuff there, The Fray, Metallica, Blue October, Coheed and Cambria, and I like that specific Hinder song, too. Overall, I'd say it gets a thumbs up, or at least a thumbs-in-the-middle.
  19. I love the movie, especially "the Time Warp". One of my all time favorite songs, actually. I was supposed to go see a late night showing last Halloween in Philly, but my friends cancelled, and I wasn't going to be the only one there not in costume and not throwing rice at the proper time. Or, ya know, not yelling "Say It" at the right time. Or dancing to the "Time Warp. I mean, I don't want to look like an idiot!
  20. The song is in my top 10 favorite songs (listed below ) I have only heard 2 or 3 songs from the album, and they weren't good enough to warrant me buying it. Maybe if I like a few more singles, I will pick it up. "Paralyzer" is an awesome song, though.
