  1. I actually had no interest to see it. However, two friends of mine who are a couple were bringing another girl and asked me to go to balance things out, so I agreed to see it. Not going in expecting much, I thought it was really, really good. Had I been all hyped up, I probably would have thought it was up to standards. Don't get me wrong, the fighting scenes and such will pull you in and you will get into it a lot. However, I just could not get into ANYTHING that the queen was doing. Well, there was one scene, but that doesn't count. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10, which pretty much says I am glad I ended up being dragged out to see it, cause it was DEFINATELY worth the money, tho to me it seems like a movie you wouldnt see more than once. HOWEVER, you have to see it in a big theatre setting.
  2. 1057thex.com is a station out of Harrisburg that has the mix of old and new. Just click the link on the top of the page.
  3. Based on the little "recap" at the beginning and C-Note saying he can get Scofield, I say everyone should keep an eye on europeangoldfinch.net. I was so happy that Bill Kim got ran over. Also happy that Pope survived. Great episode, again, can't wait until next week. Only bad thing? Only 5 more episodes. Next Mondays, then they are off a week, then episode 19 and 20, then off a week, then episode 21 and 22. Exciting...
  4. My all-time favorite team, John Vito and Jill, of course go out first. Damn, was I PISSED last night. Arrrggghhh, now I am stuck hoping the winners will be Terri and Ian...
  5. Me and two friends almost signed up for this, but when we got on to sign up for the New York casting call, it was maxed out and they didnt accept our application It's ok, I ended up applying for Chain Reaction and Amazing Race with friends, tho I haven't got a call from them, either. Enough about me. Congrats! Everyone should go to the VH1 contest tomorrow and see if another EWB guy can be on the WILD CARD team. Hell, three people from EWB be the top scorers and go on to be the WILD CARDs, that would kick ass...
  6. I kind of agree that they shouldn't have killed Haywire, but at the same time, where could his character go? What, was he going to jump on the raft with the dog and float out in the sea until he got caught? I have noticed that they make us really like a character (killing the drunk father) before they kill them off, just to make it that much more upsetting. The Kellerman/Scofield/Burrows/Tancredi thing just gets better and better. I loved the interaction between Sara and Paul, especially when she tried to kill him, I was waiting for him to throw her down. Making the four people jump off of the train instead of jumping off themself? BRILLIANT!! Oh, oh, and they kissed!! I mean...lousy girly stuff messing up my TV show. The whole T-Bag storyline looks like it is taking up the comedy relief where Tweener and Haywire left off. When the welcome lady came over and said "book club, Friday, your place" and he turns around and is like "ugh, we're moving..." had me laughing. I kinda like Bellick being out of jail, I mean, there is only so much you can do with him in jail. Not to mention that his trying out the different ways to say he is FBI before going to talk to the girl was funny. Also liked how he said he had 15 years on the force and 3 or 4 presidential whatevers...funny shtuff. C-Note's story actually didn't bug me this week, maybe because he wasn't being the annoying "fatherly" type (wow, that sounded insensitive). He went in and frickin' broke the guys arm, after letting everyone know he is a fugitive. Also thought it was nice how they let him go out the back and the dude who got hit with the gun took credit for it. Anyone see the previews at the end for the one in two weeks (damn two week break)? Mahone catches up with another convict, but I don't want to say who incase you missed it...
  7. Shifty totally kicked Joel's ass. I am a big Crazy Town fan, tho, so I am partial. And to all of you who are insulting Crazy Town, did you hear their second album? The entire 'Darkhorse' album was great. Shifty's solo stuff sucked, and on "Gift of Game" when they were rap-rocking it wasn't great, but CxT ruled. I am excited about their comeback...

So I was just watching a classic episode, and was wondering, has anyone on here ever tried calling 916-225-5887(CALL TURK)?? I heard somewhere that it is actually a phone they keep on their set, but I am too much of a pussy to try it, out of fear of someone answering and me being a mumbling idiot. Anyway, someone should try...
  9. I absolutely loved their first album (and I am American, from PA), and I am excited for this. I have listened to a few of the songs on their myspace, and it sounds good so far. Can't wait until March 6th.
  10. That episode DEFINATELY lived up to the hype, but that damn Mahone is too damn smart! Every little thing they said or tryed to do, he figured out. You'd figure after they ran his son over he would do something, but whatever. Haywire killing that girl's Dad? Kickass. The Sucre thing was nice, too, the guy who took him in letting him take the car. Again, tho, Scofield and Burrows story is of course the best. Sara figured out the code, but unfortunately couldn't get there in time. I have a feeling they are going to go and get her so they can find out what is up with the key. The whole thing with Kellerman now, tho, changes everything. Who is Kellerman siding with?? UGH!! Whats up with T-Bag and C-Note? I hate waiting a week...
  11. I thought the episode was good. Wasn't really shocked about Steadman dying, as I figured he had to die for the show to continue, but I must admit I didn't see the suicide coming until about 3 minutes before it happend. I thought the episode was good. I can't believe it, but I actually missed Sara. How are the three of them going to get out of there? Not to mention, I still don't 100% trust Kellerman's character, especially after we just learned that he at one time proposed to the president. C-Note's story just bugs the hell out of me, and I find myself wondering why they killed Tweener off instead of him T-Bag's story is ok, but if this lady didn't want to be with him anymore, why the hell did she lie to her kids and say he was on an oil rig? Also, won't they want to know why the moved so quickly? Plus, wouldn't they have seen his wanted poster plastered everywhere. Normally I ignore things like that, but that one just pissed me off. I am actually enjoying Bellick's story, perhaps just because we are behind prison walls again, which was the big thing for season one. Definately, in my opinion, the next best storyline going besides the obvious Scofield/Burrows/Company thing that is happening. Mahone being fine after the shot didn't bug me, just because they explained it quick with one line. "If it had been six inches to the left, he'd be dead". The Company messing with Mahone's son? I can see him flipping sides, too. I mean, he (Mahone) killed that one FBI agent, what's to stop him from getting Kim? Just go get his son and his wife and join Scofield, Burrows, and Kellerman in taking the company down. They could go so many ways with Mahone's character, I just don't know what to expect. Next week hopefully we see whats up with Sucre in Mexico, Sara in wherever, and Haywire in Holland(?).
  12. I just watched that video, what guy on American Idol was in the band, or am I completely missing a joke here?
  13. Can't wait for tonight. I never got into 24, but Prison Break, ugh, just so good. Did anyone catch the half-an-hour recap and preview? They showed a couple of clips that gave away some key points (I think, anyway) of upcoming episodes. If you want to watch the recap, you can watch it on the Prison Break ondemand that is on the fox.com/prisonbreak website. I read the preview for tonights episode, and just wonder what the hell is going to happen when they get to Steadman. Also, this is just me thinking back. They made it seem that Burrows and Kellerman have actually never seen each other, but if you remember when the van Burrows was being transported in was hit, and his Dad saved him for the first time, Kellerman was chasing him through the junkyard. Think he will remember that? I mean, I didn't even remember it at first, saw a clip from that episode. TOO MUCH STUFF GOING ON!!! Arrggh....

Just watched the episode (friend of mine recorded it), it is friggin' hilarious. Definately one of the better episodes that have been on lately. Best song was definately "Guy Love", tho when Janitor and Cox were talking about how much they hated JD was good, too. Great episode.
  15. Employee of the Month Ehh, it was good, but I don't get what all the hype was about. There were some parts that made me chuckle, but it wasn't a "laugh riot". The best part about the movie was definately Jorge (played by Efren Ramirez). Overall, it was worth the rent, but definately not something I am going to go buy. I think the funniest part was the deleted scene with the training video. Meh, just me. 5/10 Against the Wall:Quality of Life Ok, ok, I originally rented this movie just because Lane Garrison (Tweener on Prison Break) was in it, and Tweener was my favorite character on the show. I figured it would be horrible. I mean, come on, it's about two graffiti artists. It's actually a really good story. After being arrested and told if they are caught vandalizing property again, they would be put in jail, Heir (Lane's character) decides to try and better himself. Goes to work for his dad, tries to get a job. Meanwhile, Vain (played by Brian Burnam) continues to paint and do drugs and get drunk. Shows what happens when two friends just grow apart after a big conflict, and the climax of the movie had me on the edge of my seat! Definately WAYY better than I was expecting. 8/10
  16. Check out Jonathan Kellerman's "Alex Deleware" novels. He has an entire series, about 20 books, out about him. It's about a psychiatrist (Deleware) who is best friends with the only OUT gay detective in California (Milo Sturgis) and their solving crimes together. I haven't read one that I have disliked yet.
  17. Like last year, I know some of these songs may have been released last year, but they didn't really get popular until this year. Anyway, here's my top 15 15: 3 Days Grace "Animal I Have Become" 14: Weezer "Perfect Situation" 13: Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Gold Lion" 12: The Strokes "Juicebox" 11: Hurt "Falls Apart" 10: Trapt "Waiting" 09: Thrice "Image of the Invisible" 08: HIM "Wings of a Butterfly" 07: Muse "Knights of Cydonia" 06: Stone Sour "Through Glass" 05: The Prom Kings "Bleeding" 04: Panic! at the Disco "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" 03: 30 Seconds to Mars "The Kill" 02: Vaux "Are You With Me?" 01: Mest "Kiss Me, Kill Me" Yeah, thar it be. Like I said, I am pretty sure Weezer, Thrice, The Strokes, and HIM's songs were released late last year, but I didn't really start hearing a lot about them until early this year (as shown by the date I legally acquired the songs).
  18. Television Because of this forum (and a friend) I have been watching a helluva lot of Scrubs, hoping to get the DVDs for Christmas. Also rewatching my Prison Break season 1 DVD to hold me over until January. Music Listening to Hurt's "Volume 1" a lot, as well as Evans Blue's "The Melody and Energetic Nature of Volume". Also dug up all of my old Ra albums, they are fuckin' awesome. Recently listening to a lot of Atreyu, too. Books Jonathan Kellerman's "Alex Deleware" novels. I tell you, they are great. Kellerman is a retired psychiatrist, and writes these stories about a psychiatrist who is best friends with the only gay detective in the OC, Milo, and they go on to solve these medical and psychiatric mysteries. Booze I was straight edge before CM Punk made it cool
  19. I am flying over from the U.S., anyone have a place for me to stay? Oh yeah, and can pick me up at the airport...oh yeah, and can take me back to the airport afterwords? And after the money for plane tickets and Muse tickets, I might also need to just eat whatever you have readily available at your house... Saw Muse live in Philly, awesome show there, would LOVE to go to a show of this magnitude with bigger Muse fanatics than the ones I was with at Philly!!
  20. Yeah, I heard about that, not sure what's up with Lane Garrison. First he is in the fender bender, and now this. It has also been reported that none of the occupants of the vehicle were related to him. If the girl who is in critical condition's health doesn't improve, he could be in HUGE trouble (of course, he already is...)
  21. Awesome news about John Vito and Jill, they were one of my favorite teams. Tian and Jaree bitched all the time towards each other, didnt they? The team I really want to see come back is Lena and Kristy from season 6, mainly because of how they went out (they were in second, had to unroll some hay bales and fell to last cause they didn't find one with a clue). Brian and Greg from season 7 would be good, just cause I thought they were so entertaining. Amanda and Chris from season 4 would be good, too. Chris didn't realize there was a second floor when looking for the pendants or whatever, and that's why they went out (they were in 3rd at the start). They should bring back Mama Paola and one of her sons, that would be entertaining. Finally, Eric and Jeremy from the last season, just because I found them entertaining, too. I am all about giving the teams I thought went out unfairly another chance I am obsessed with the show, so I hope the All-Star version is good (I am signing up for season 12, WOOT {already signed up for seasons 9 and 10})
