  1. I heard a news report (didn't watch, so if my facts are wrong I apologize), but it sounded like right after he wrote down the last wager and then the question was asked, he knew he lost cause he didn't know the answer. He looked over at the girl, and saw her scribbling something down, and knew that his run was over right there. Just some dumb luck that it was actually a question he didn't know.
  2. Latest CD that I got was Jimmy Eat World's "Futures". I LIKE IT! Prior to that, Sum 41's "Chuck", I REALLY LIKE IT! Tho I didn't recently buy it, my dad found my Stroke 9 "Nasty Little Thoughts" album and I have been listening to it non-stop lately. That was a good album!

    Manhunt

I have researched this show. It was while Cena was in OVW. The show itself was produced by Vince McMahon, however, one of the contestants came out and said that the show was "faked". The producers did not think there was enough controversy on the show, so at times DURING the missions they would pull people aside and tell them what to say to the camera to cause controversy. Also, at the end of tapings, they realised they didn't have enough footage, and so called BACK most of the contestants (one or two refused to come back) and filmed some of the later events on sound stages. Problem was, at some point near the end, some of the contestants had their heads shaved. So therefore, during interviews in the earlier episodes, the contestants will wear bandanas. The whole show ended up crashing and burning when all of this came out. At least one, maybe two, contestant was injured and the producers refused to pay for his injuries, so he sued them, not sure on the result. The winner of the game last time I checked, which was about a year ago, still had not recieved the prize money. I recall a long time ago there being a whole article on this on The Smoking Gun but I am not sure if it is still in the archives. Go look it up, it is a very interesting read, and you can get a lot more of the specific details than I provided here.
  4. I am a huge Ozzy Osbourne fan, and I was PISSED when I heard this. I think it just sucks, though I don't think anything that Lil' Jon has touched has been that good. Even if there is a good song, once Lil' Jon gets involved, you hear the stupid "YEAH"s, "OKAY"s, and "WHAT"s more than the song itself.
  5. Four cruiserweights? Damn those storylines are gonna be stale, no Ultimo? Still no Funaki? How many years has he been with the company? Where's The Hurricane? Shannon Moore? Ultimo Dragon? It's not as if they've just recently debuted, both Hurrican and Ultimo were in the last game... ←
  6. I heard a cover of "Head Like A Hole" by AFI the other day and the DJ said that the song was featured on the GTA soundtrack. Did I just skip over it while reading the stations?
  7. Invader Zim Volumes 1 and 2 were released a while ago, and just this past Tuesday, Volume 3 was released as well. I haven't had a chance to watch 2 or 3, but I recommend 1 and probably will 2 and 3 when I get around to them.
  8. Strangers With Candy, later known as Lifer, then myDownfall, won a contest on MTV playing that song and doing it awesomely. I never liked the song, but when they played it, they actually made it sound quite good. ←
  9. I am one of those people who make everyone believe that I only listen to rock music... However, I have two obsessions that VERY few people know about, them being Black Eyed Peas and Pink. Shhhhh, dont tell anyone
  10. I heard that they are having a Wolverine movie, AND an X3, tho I dont know which will come first. Apparently, the only people who havent signed on for X3 are Magneto (waiting to see the script), Prof. X (waiting to see the script), Wolverine (waiting to see the script), and Rogue (waiting to see if Jackman agrees to the script). Everyone else has already signed on for X3 (INCLUDING COLOSSUS!!!!), so I believe that Wolvie will have his own movie. But who knows.
  11. Both albums that are well over a year old. ←

  13. Hey all, I am playing the new X-Men Legends. I have never been a fan of RPGs, but this one is pretty good. However, I am stuck on the third level where you have to fight the Morlocks and save Gambit. If anyone has any tips, please feel free to reply and help me out!
  14. You've plum gone crazy, as I dont think it sounds anything alike. I just listened to 'em back to back. I think you just don't like Sum 41 and are trying to rip on 'em in some away. Unrelated, yet related matter: Sum 41 and Good Charlotte going on tour, anyone else might go?
  15. Billy Talent is awesome, and I can't recommend just one of their songs, cause I love every single track! They are, like, ear orgasmic. I have gotten so many people in my little town hooked on Billy Talent it is not even funny. Went to Warped Tour, made three new fans. Pass CDs around with Billy Talent tracks on them, everyone wants more. Billy Talent is one of the top 3 best bands to come out of Canada, eh. 3 Days Grace are canadian? They are good, too. I like their whole album. As you can tell, I am not too sure of how many bands are actually from Canada, but let me say, they all pale in comparison to the almighty rock gods, BILLY TALENT!!!

  17. My favorite author right now is Johnathan Kellerman, he is writing the Alex Deleware novels, and I am in book 4 or 5 of about 15 books. It's about Alex Deleware, a children psychologist, and his gay detective friend Milo. Very, very good. I am also a fan of Robert Ludlum, he is the guy who wrote the Bourne books. I am reading the first Bourne book, but he also wrote another book that I cant remember the title but I really liked.
  18. Well, I guess that's a yes. Thanks a lot Jimmy, you are now on my friends list. That is what I would say if I had a friends list, but I dont
  19. I wasn't sure which folder this went into, and since PS2s are good entertainment, well. Anyway, do PS2s play DVD+R? I was at the official website for Sony, but didn't see anything about DVD+Rs. It did say it played DVD-Rs, but nothing about +Rs, but I wanted to make sure with someone here before going and buying a DVD+R off of eBay that I found.
  20. The only reason that Injected are even known at all is back when that album came out (it has been at least a year, possibly 2 or more) they were one of the few bands that MTV could get to go on the Campus Tour or whatever, so of course they have to promote them. I thought the song was alright, but nothing to call home to your mother about (and trust me, I did, she said it was "okay".)

    MTV VMAs

The Polyphonic Spree is their name, and they are getting big on the adult contemporary charts. Rumors are is that they are all one big cult, heh heh, makes me laugh. Anyway, here is their profile:

    MTV VMAs

I'm not saying that MTV should only play Rock music, as that would get old quick. But the fact that the viewer's are choosing rock music over all the pop crap and the rap music should mean something. In my opinion, with the way rock videos have swept Viewer's Choice and MTV2 Awards, there is no possible way TRL is relevant to people's voting. Usher's "Yeah" topped TRL for 50 days, yet it was out in round one or two of the voting round for Viewer's Choice. Same with Jojo, Jessica Simpson, and Britney Spears, all beat out in EARLY rounds to rock genre music. MTV is trying to shove pop down everyone's throats, but looking at the voting facts, it shows that some people aren't swallowing it.
