  1. Guys...I don't think next year is our year 😞 (Trying to just laugh my way through the devastation)
  2. Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz, and Vitor Matos are the only other staff members so far confirmed as leaving with Klopp.
  3. Woke up and saw this news. Immediately want to go back to bed but know I won't be able to now. Absolutely floored by this.
  4. Harbaugh is going to the Chargers.
  5. Algeria, Tunisia, and Ivory Coast have all sacked their managers...even though as it stands, Ivory Coast are about to sneak into the Knockout Rounds as the 4th best third place team.
  6. Is almost €30m for a player that was very clearly not first choice with the manager, and overall seemed like he was maybe surplus to requirements, peanuts? Idk, seems that's one heck of a deal for a guy who while electric and exciting at times, was coming off his worst season at Newcastle and was behind Gordon, Barnes, and Almiron (and maybe more) in the pecking order.
  7. Very happy the Eagles are getting rid of both coordinators. I would take Rivera in a heartbeat. I think Sirianni could do with some veteran coaches in important positions right now, especially the DC. It has to be said though that the offense was pretty much just as awful as the defense down the stretch, it just didn't get anywhere near the focus. Play calling was consistently awful, the running game was non-existent, seemed to only throw WR screens or verticals into double coverage, Hurts was terrible, and so was the offensive line.
  8. The Bucks have fired coach Adrian Griffin. Joe Puntry to be the interim coach. Bucks are 30-13 & second in the East. Is there an off court issue going on or something? Because I don't see how this makes sense.
  9. As our fans sang today, "he's just a shit Andy Carroll". Really excellent performance by Nunez tonight (and Jota, MacAllister, Konate, and Virg too)
  10. Brentford know that Ivan Toney wants to move to a big club, preferably this January. Brentford know they need him at least the rest of the season to help make sure they don't get dragged into the relegation battle, especially since Mbeumo is likely out the rest of the season. They're going to do whatever they can to make him feel loved, welcomed, and their guy. Then come summer time, sell him like he wants.
  11. Arsenal 2 vs. 0 Crystal Palace (Sat 12.30pm, TNT) Brentford 2 vs. 1 Nottm Forest (Sat 5.30pm, Sky) Sheff Utd 1 vs. 3 West Ham (Sun 2pm, TNT) Bournemouth 0 vs. 1 Liverpool (Sun 4.30pm, Sky) Brighton 2 vs. 1 Wolves (Mon 7.45pm, TNT)
  12. ESPN just confirmed it, unfortunately.
  13. Haha cheers, thanks! We definitely picked this match thinking it was our best chance to get tickets. I only remembered afterwards my best friend and I are going to Mania, which is that weekend. Going to be jetlagged as all hell for Mania, but I'll happily take that problem since it means we're going to the match!
  14. Hoping that the match doesn't get moved around at all and change my travel plans, but just found out I got selected for tickets for the Liverpool match home to Sheffield United Wednesday April 3rd!! I am in jubilant disbelief. Can't believe I am going to be going to Anfield.
  15. Naw. The refs yes made several bad calls that cost us a 2 point conversion and handed the Bucs a TD instead of a FG, but the Eagles lost that game because they were by far the inferior team at each and every level of the game.
  16. The third season Mourinho syndrome strikes again
  17. Eh. It's a mix of losing our best DT, all our starting LBs and safeties to free agency; a lot of guys either massively regressing after career years or just being a one season wonder (Bradberry especially, who has been the single worst CB in NFL), injuries, and just awful awful replacements. Reddick, Slay, and Bradberry especially regressed badly.
  18. Also the basics of play calling. It's insane just how truly awful this play calling has been by Johnson and Sirianni. Just repeated WR screens, flats, and the random odd vertical. That 4th down play call especially was terrible. You know the blitz is coming, but dial up a vertical into double coverage. They run vertical, flats, curls, and sometimes an out route. Just throw a few fucking slant routes on the blitz.
  19. It definitely isn't helping the Eagles that the refs have missed some very blatant, terrible calls. Two very obvious holding calls on the Bucs TD, and an even more obvious facemask to Hurts on the two point conversion. They already suck enough, refs! Don't make it harder! Also, Nick Sirianni and Brian Johnson should be kicked in the nuts every time they run the WR screen. Just repeated awful play calling.
  20. It's just such a comedy of errors on defense almost every play. It's an equal part problem of really awful coaching, really awful players who have no business in the NFL, and a LOT of players either being one season wonders or regressing significantly. I really think we're going to regret Jalen Hurts' contract. I know he's definitely playing hurt, but man he strikes me way too much as a one season wonder who will never touch last season again.
  21. Two Eagles DBs run into each other to give Tampa WR a wide open catch, and then I believe 4 missed tackles afterwards for the TD. Peak Philadelphia Eagles secondary right there ladies and gentlemen!
  22. Pittsburgh really should have used their timeouts there. Try and get the ball back with at least one timeout left. Buffalo's punter did his hamstring in too!
  23. Hey few tennis fans! Aussie Open is up and running! Unfortunately for the Brits, Andy Murray went down in straight sets, albeit to a seeded opponent. Naomi Osaka made her long waited return, but she also went down to 16 seed Caroline Garcia. The women's side has Angelique Kerber returning too, as well as Caroline Wozniacki back on tour too. Iga Swiatek has a murder's row of a draw pretty much, Sabalenka will look to continue to try and dominate, and Coco Gauff is in incredible form. For the men's...I mean, it's pretty much Djokovic's tournament. Unfortunately. Alcaraz is still the best chance to beat him, but Sinner is someone the experts think could upset him again having done so late last year.
