  1. That probably sounds right (hairbands and Metallica). Wouldn't HJY be similar to AAF though?
  2. Someone needs to get promoted apparently. Is this guy Danny Almonte with a name change?
  3. I hate the Lakers, so I'm hoping he doesn't go there. Sorry to all the Maryland fans, that's just how I feel. I still want you guys to beat Duke though - and hope you don't have to face UConn.
  4. Perhaps I go out and rent The Godfather now. I somehow never saw that one.
  5. It'd be worth it if you get more than 5 seconds of the hockey puck and the binoculars.
  6. Ouch. I was playing a freeroll today on Stars - first time in a while. I started playing aggressive early on, when half the table was sitting out. Raked in about 4000 in chips. So then I got a bunch of bad hands and started folding a lot. Then I went agressive again, got moved to another table, and started getting crushed. 1903rd, not good.
  7. Way back in the day (like pre-1990) - not even sure. I hear a lot of MTV and WAAF music. Bruins should give me a clue here. 1991 to 1997 (ages 6-12) - whatever my parents liked. Mostly slow love songs, some 80s hits 1997 to 1999 (ages 12-14) - pretty much abandoning old tastes for east coast rap. DMX, Biggie, Puffy, Jay-Z 1999 to 2002 (ages 14-17) - adding slight rock and adult contemp flavor. Plus some West Coast. Pac, Dre, Eminem. Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, POD. Few hit songs, not teenybop. Still mostly New York rap. 2002 to present - more shift towards southern/crunk style rap. And lesser known rap artists. Closet fan of 80s hits, some slow jams too. I can tolerate a bit more - with different genres. If it's popular and overplayed, I hate it though. Most people I know, esp. from college, think I listen to nothing but Southern rap. Although that's not always the case.
  8. All I got to say to that is ... wow. rofl
  9. How much does Delgado got on a deal? And let's see. I think this would end up displacing Kevin Millar out of the lineup - not like he hasn't done shit this year anyway. The Sox are on a losing streak. The players don't care. Francona's taking the heat because of it, and because he's an idiot. Your pitching staff gives up hits to Miguel Cairo and John Flaherty of all people. Oy.
  10. Well, there's no feedback on this account to begin with. So whoever this is knows they're going to be in for it. And yeah, some dumbass will get ripped off.
  11. Derek Lowe. 9 fucking runs in one game. What the fuck is going on???
  12. Do you think even with Beltran there will be loyalty?
  13. Don't worry about it. They'll trade for either Bret Boone or Jose Vidro around the 31st of July. Then in the offseason, they'll get abandoned for Nomar - who'll get signed and get converted to a second baseman.
  14. Yeah has been out for six months now. I heard it down in Orlando in December, and later on in Boston because they're always behind Naughty Girl has about a half dozen remixes to keep it alive, or so it seems. It's also newer. Probably top 20 too. And that shit pisses me off so much too. Ugh. #1 song in the country? By what, overplay?
  15. Aaron Boone will probably hold down the other guy. And sadly for Yankees fans, your hero and Boston killer is now abandoned. That's really messed up. If it wasn't for Boone, would Boston be world champs right now? New Yorkers don't care about that. All they care about is just winning, doesn't matter how.
  16. although being a Pats fan, I can't complain there. Calgary - yeah they got screwed.
  17. The Yanks and the Sox need a starter. They'll probably go crazy at the deadline looking for one.
  18. How was England losing a screw job?
  19. J-Kwon - "Hood Hop" The beat is insane hot.
  20. I thought the same thing when I originally read it.
  21. Would Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back count? I never saw it, but my brother loves it. Half Baked Office Space Friday Screwed
  22. I can't remember, but some New Yorker tried to sell his kid's naming rights. No takers. I think some company once tried to do it. Can't remember when or who. EDIT: Two Texans and a Michigan-person. I'm surprised someone down way in Bristol hasn't gone retarded from satellite waves and named a kid Esp(e)n yet. But seriously, I'd rather not see the corporations start naming people. This isn't Jennifer Government.
  23. I've seen it a few times, but I never really had interest in the stuff. XFL was better than this.
