To be honest, I don't think the Darkness work as a comedy act, or as a serious one either. Its like an unfunny version of Spinal Tap thats 20 years late, or a very bad band that rips off bands from 20 years ago. What annoys me most is the fact that they are so overhyped and get people saying shit like "They are better than Queen" or "They are the saviors of rock and roll".

Im going to start the game over again just to get the Mothership. I fucking love its paint job.

Its not like this had tons of hype behind it anyway. I always thought the next gen Bond games sucked ass. Short, boring story mode accompanied by a very average multiplayer mode.

The gravity gun is absolutely the greatest weapon in a FPS game ever. The last two levels are made fantastic by the gravity gun alone...

I never liked the original Evil Dead, but I love the sequels. So I don't exactly have high expectations for this movie.

After all that hassle yesterday, I got it verifed properly this morning, and got home from school early to play this game. Oh my god this game is absolutely amazing. Never have I had so much fun playing an FPS. All the rest of this post is just going to sound like Heel Turns, so just read his instead. Im running this game on high settings with my ATI x600 (Not amazing I know, but it came with my computer) and it runs silky smooth. According to the guys on GameFAQs, this game loves ATI cards as well.

...because you need to it play HL2? Steam needs to verify that you have a valid copy of HL2 in order to play it, so you need to log onto Steam and get it verified. Problem lies with the fact that Steam is very busy at the moment, and the server keeps going down, so I can't verify my game at all, thus I can't play the game either.

So it got released today. I spent £25 on this game, and I can't even play it. I have spent about 4 hours and I can't even log into Steam anymore. Im not the only one either. Disasterous release.

Anyone who thinks the Xbox version of San Andreas would suck on the Xbox is either a complete idiot, or just a jealous "fanboy" (I fucking hate that word). Fuck console favouritism. Vice City and GTA3 had noticeable improvements on the Xbox, both with frame rate and clearer graphics. And the custom soundtrack taking away from the game? Yes, a chance to listen to your own music would actually hurt the game and make it suck. And Halo 2 is even more overrated than Halo.

Apple Shampoo - You probably did what I did. When you park up, get out and cross the road. The game says "park outside Millies house" yet you are actually told to park across the road from her house. Anyway, the house is directly opposite where you park. Walk over there and wait for an old man with a dildo. Kick the shit out of him, take dildo, enter house. Done. For everyone else thats having problems with girlfriends, theres a guide thats been submitted to GameFAQs thats actually quite helpful. EDIT: Link don't work. Its not hard to navigate GameFAQs, just find it yourself.

Theres this not-very-well-known-but-actually-very-good band from the UK called No Comply who have a female lead singer. Great band, great live, hot lead singer.

SPOILERS Some of the DJs talk about the news as well. Tommy Smith/Axl Rose commented on the DA guy that you frame with a ton of drugs straight after I did the mission. God, I laughed when the police where seaching that guys trunk. "Jesus, we got half of Mexico in here"

I ordered it from Gameplay.com and it was dispatched yesterday, and im expecting it to arrive tomorrow. I was hoping it would come today, but my postal service is shit you see. I ordered an Xbox from Amazon once, and someone nicked it before I received it.

This was over here in England a drama entitled "The Hamburg Cell" which told the story of the hijackers and the build up to 9/11 from their point of view. However, the hijackers were potrayed as real people. They were intelligent, organised and the drama potrayed them as being devout believers who thought their cause for was a greater good. So obviously, it would never work in America.

I was looking over the news and this scared the shit out of me. I can't believe its true. The guy had the most diverse musical tastes ever. RIP

I thought the whole point was that they were shit because they were just taking the piss out of guys like So Solid Crew... The difference between them and the Darkness is that GLC are actually funny. And not 20 years too late. And not taken seriously by almost everyone. Makes me laugh how people on Amazon talk about how the Darkness rival Queen.
