I think the Tomb Raider series can be considered dead in terms of appeal, but I think that a good game can turn that all around. I think the main problem with the Tomb Raider games was that they barely improved in each new title. There are flaws even in the first game that are still in the Angel Of Darkness. I know people criticise developers like Yukes for not adding a lot in every new version of Smackdown, but what Core did was taking the piss i.e. Not actually fixing any of the flaws whatsoever or adding anything remotely interesting. Maybe Crystal Dynamics can turn that around.

Sonic is much more simplistic than Mario, but Sonic has a charm about it that makes it so godamn awesome. But I love the music the most in the Sonic games. Just listening to it all again brings back happy memories.

New episode kicked ass. Finale made me laugh as well. Oh, and the very hot Jamie Murray showed me just how bad of an actress she is. Still hot though

Too soon? Halo 2 has been out for almost 6 months, its about time there was some variation in the types of map. I just want to know when Bungie get around to making that ending.

I might be going to REading this year provided I can afford it. You forgot to mention that Bad Religion are rumoured to be playing. They have been mentioned on a few websites, and they are touring Europe in July/August and performing only at festivals.

CSI:NY started here a couple of months back, and I was pretty excited to see it, mainly because im a Gary Sinese fan. Anyway, I watched the first 3 episodes, and the only thing I don't like about it is that the storylines are so unbelievable. Like women only being able to communicate through blinking? Gary Sinese still kicks ass though.

I think My Chemical Romance are an overrated band, average yet occasionally catchy at best, but I hate the Used through and through, simply because of Berts lousy vocals and lyrics.

I think Jar Jar Beatnik summarised my feelings on the song. I do hope the rest of the album doesn't sound like this. More Cochise like songs. Man that song is so awesome.

Im a fan of Chris Morris' older stuff but I think Nathan Barley is just a continuation in the slump that he is having. I've only seen the first two episodes, but I just find it insanely boring and unfunny.

"The Decline" by NOFX. Just over 18 minutes its like an epic punk rock symphony that tears into America in so many ways. By far NOFX's best song.

Although its probably not a good idea to compare the two, to me Kenan and Kel reminds me of Saved By The Bell, in that in many ways they are shitty shows yet there is something thats really likable about both of them.

I think Showgirls should have won. Mainly because the guy who directed it attended the awards and accepted all of the Razzies it won graciously. He kicks ass for doing that.

I disagree. I think FF8 has many more flaws including a shittier story ("OMG~! ALL TEH CHARACTERS WERE ALL AT TEH SAME ORPHANAGE AS KIDS BUT FORGOT ABOUT IT BECAUSE OF GFS SWERVE~!") and a bunch of characters that are either annoying or just generally assholes. And don't get me started on that fucking card game. But yeah. FF7 is overrated. But I still think its a great game. I like FF9 more though.

Beat Em Ups - Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Dead Or Alive: Can't get into any of them. To me the gameplay seems a little simplistic, mainly because I can't be bothered to learn any moves or combos so it just turns into a button mashing feast. Then I take it back to the store. Racing - Urgh. My worst enemy. Boring. Maybe with the exception of the Burnout games, where I found the only remotely interesting feature to be that mode where you just have to cause the biggest crash possible. Survival Horror - Im mainly talking about the earlier Resident Evil games here. The constant walking back and forth, the expected "scare" moments where something just bursts out of nowhere to attack you, the annoying puzzles and the clumsy combat and controls. I think the only survival horror game I ever liked was Silent Hill, and I only played a demo of that. I hit some weird alien baby thing with a wench, got scared and never played it again.

Provided FF12 isn't as bad as FFX or its even worse sequel then its definately a step up in the series. Im becoming more nitpicky with my RPGs though now, particularly after playing a lot of PC ones such as Deus Ex, Fallout and Baldurs Gate I thought I had almost gone off the entire FF series. But then I played FF7 and 9 again and I was corrected. I still don't like the direction Square is taking in recent years though. FFX was completely shit, Star Ocean 3 only had an awesome combat system going for it, and they still flat out refuse to remake FF7.

Everyone should listen to Bad Religion. And everyone should own a copy of Against The Grain and No Control.

My friend bought this Kerrang magazine dedicated entirely to punk music and the biggest feature in it was an interview with one of the guys from Good Charlotte. Fuck Kerrang. They gladly slate Avril Lavigne in their magazine and then play her videos on their music channel and radio stations. Its bullshit like that, that makes me annoyed about them. They'll attack random British pop punk band records because they don't like pop punk and then dedicate their main features to Blink182 and Good Charlotte. Also, have they finished with that time where they labelled absolutely everything "emo"? Have they stopped jacking off all over Nirvana and how no band is better than them in history? Have they stopped labelling Agnostic Front as racists?

Fuck me, that looks awesome. Oh, and Martin Freeman is the man.
