  1. Let the Right One In - Great, and better than the American version which wasn't even bad. Very different from any other take on the genre and the overall look of the movie is very impressive. Just as good as the book, which is one of my favorites. It's on netflix so I'd suggest giving it a chance.
  2. So, it's forgettable, but an awesome classic? I see. totally meant to write forgotten. my apologies haha.
  3. The Crow is a classic and one of the more forgettable comic book adaptations to a movie. And the new blu ray edition makes it look even more awesome. 8/10
  4. I went to give Breaking Bad a chance on netflix for the first time today and ended up watching all of season one and will be starting season two very shortly. This is one of the best shows I have seen in a very long time.
  5. I watched Funny People last night for the first time in about a year, and man the first half of it is just excellent and the second half just drags, until the last scene really. The second half really hurt what otherwise would have been a really good movie. 50/50 was a lot better. Oh, and Brick still kicks a lot of ass. Still one of my favorites.
  6. This. Basically the exact same thing I thought after watching it.
  7. Eastbound is just a fabulous show, both seasons really are some of the funniest stuff I've seen. The only other show I think I fell in love faster than Eastbound would probably be Always Sunny. Just finished the first season....kinda sad. Yeah, the second season is even deeper. I'd say check out the second season, I thought it was better than the first, even though it lacks most of the characters from the first season besides the last episode or two. But season 3 has Will Farrell and Craig Robinson confirmed to come back!

  9. You should be tested in a laboratory setting. you're probably right. how can a movie about friendship actually make somebody cry, that's crazy isn't it.
  10. I forgot to add Superbad to my list. I love that ending so much.
  11. It's at my dollar theater at the moment, but it comes out on DVD at the end of the month if you just want to wait to rent it. Either way, it's definitely worth checking out. It's my favorite comedy this year.
  12. I enjoyed the story as well the only thing I didn't enjoy was the action. I just didn't think the action was very exciting and hoping they'd just get back to developing the story. I don't know, maybe I'll have to give it a second chance, since I wasn't really expecting it to be a chase/action movie going in. I was really hoping they'd let us know how the world got to the way it did.
  13. Wristcutters (the last 5 minutes gets me everytime), 500 Days of Summer, and 50/50 are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
  14. Dungeon Defenders might be one of my new favorite games, and it was only 15 bucks.
  15. Old giant monster movies aren't CGI. They're stop-motion... Yeah, I worded it wrong, my apologies. But yeah I hope you got what I was trying to say. You can check out In Time, and most likely be disappointed. Wait to rent it if you want to see it. It's not worth 10 bucks.
  16. In Time, cool concept, but overall was pretty bad. Honestly it was really just the action that really dragged the movie down, because the action was so boring. I mean, nothing awesome or even remotely cool happened in them, rendering them somewhat useless since they really slowed down the pacing of the movie for me to be honest. Had some good stuff, but honestly the bad out weighs the good in this case. Oh and Cillian Murphy was so underutilized in the film it was crazy. They just seemed to have dumbed the concept of the movie down way too much. Also, there is this one shot of a car falling down a cliff and it has some of the worst CGI I have seen since the old giant monster movies.
  17. Awesome episode tonight. It might be my favorite episode this season so far. After last years medicore season, they're really bringing the goods this season. Last weeks episode was awesome as well.
  18. Arkham City delivered.

  19. The Thing - For a movie that's supposed to be a prequel it sure is almost identical to the original film. But it still wasn't bad, not great though, but overall I liked it more than I hated it. Worth renting but if you really want to see it, I don't think you'd feel robbed of your money.
  20. That's Charlie Day. Shame he's not in more movies as he's usual the best part in the movies he's in that I've seen at least. He's in Horrible Bosses which was just great, you should check it out. And the Crack Off discussion in the Going the Distance is hilarious.
  21. I agree 100% but the sad thing is I actually thought it was better than the second one.
  22. 50/50 - Just wow, great movie. GO SEE IT!
  23. X Men Destiny is sweet, but too short. Rent it if you wanna play it.
