  1. EWB I need your help... Is Crisis on Infinite Earths, worth going out of my way to buy all 12 issues for 60 bucks?
  2. Project X was nothing like Superbad or Hangover, which I was expecting. I think if youtube was gang banged by three of the most unfunny douche bags ever, it would be Project X. Has to be one of the worst movies I've seen this year so far.
  3. Agreed! And Walk Hard was great as well. Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Clerks 2 - Ben Affleck Spiderman 1 and 2 - Toby Maguire Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - Chris Evans
  4. Finished reading Part One of Knightfall, and it was just a fantastic read. Can't wait to pick up Part Two, hopefully on Thursday. I picked up all six issues of Batman: The Winding Gyre yesterday, I couldn't resist when I saw Batman and Kevin Smith's name on the same page I got the biggest clue ever.
  5. Kick Ass - Nicholas Cage Waiting - Ryan Reynolds 30 Minutes or Less - Nick Swardson Adventureland - Kristin Stewart last time I rewatched X-2 my group of friend and myself were on the ground cracking up at how terrible the dialogue was. which is a shame, because I remembered liking it before then.
  6. Justice League Doom was awesome, with a great story. If you're missing some animated goodness in your life, this is it. The only problem with it, is the same problem I have with most Marvel/DC animated movies which is they lack extras (they only have trailers). Not sure about the Blu Ray though.
  7. If you got netflix it's on there, if you don't want to buy it. Though it wouldn't exactly be a waste of money if you did go out and buy it.
  8. For anybody interested tonight, Eastbound & Down's final season begins.
  9. I finally saw The Muppets last night at the dollar theater, and it was the best damn dollar I spent. And what a cast!
  10. Just finished watching The Dead Pool on netflix, and it was great for an old school Clint Eastwood movie. The cast was just awesome too along with Eastwood, Liam Neeson is in it. If that doesn't give you a boner, then nothing will. Also, Jim Carrey's introduction in the movie is pretty awesome.
  11. I was with a friend who hadn't seen it yet, and I wasn't the one paying so really had very little say in the matter.
  12. The third one was so awful and boring, it was the only movie I've ever walked out on. And after rewatching it on blu ray when it first came out, I didn't miss anything special. First was pretty good, the second was awful, and the third was just as bad. But I mean, Jesus a reboot already? Ridiculous.
  13. I saw Chronicle last night, and overall I'd say I enjoyed it. It started a little slow, but when it did pick up it was nonstop with the action. The last 20 minutes were great stuff. But if you're not a fan of found footage flicks, I'd probably stay away from this one, as the fight scene at the end got kind of hard to follow.
  14. I would suggest checking out the book "Inside Story: The Power of the Transformational Arc" it's very helpful and insightful into helping you develop a better story. Here's a link to anybody interested, http://www.amazon.com/Inside-Story/dp/1408109425/ref=tmm_pap_title_0
  15. anybody remember Tomko's awesome push in TNA back in 2008? That shit was awesome, too bad they dropped the ball.

      tenaciousg

Considering what he's been up to recently, I'm not entirely sure TNA is in the wrong there...

  16. The newest Fright Night was okay, but nowhere near as good as the original. It was missing some of the best scenes from the original. For example, they totally cut out the part of when Danridge talks Ed into joining him. Instead, Danridge took Ed against his will. Not bad though, I didn't feel like I wasted my time.
  17. Actors: 1. Joseph Gordon Levitt 2. Christian Bale 3. Cillian Murphy 4. Brad Pitt 5. Robert Downey Jr. 6. James Franco 7. Jason Bateman 8. Gary Oldman 9. Edward Norton 10. Paul Rudd Poor Daniel Craig just barely missed my list. Actresses: 1. Natalie Portman 2. Rooney Mara 3. Zooey Deschanel 4. Emma Stone 5. Chloe Moretz (Kick Ass and Let Me In, she's gonna be huge) Deceased: 1. Bruce Lee 2. Brandon Lee 3. Heath Ledger 4. Leslie Nielsen 5. Brittany Murphy
  18. Saw Underworld Awakening on Thursday and was surprised with how much I ended up enjoying it. The story is nothing special or memorable, but the action scenes were great and were non stop through out. Only problems I had with it, was the lack of Michael and that when it ended, nothing really changed, rendering this one kind of pointless. But if you enjoyed the previous three Underworld's I would think that you would enjoy this one. Better than the second, but not as good as the first or third one.
  19. Definitely, Under The Red Hood has such a tear jerker ending, I love that one. Revenge of the Joker is probably my favorite Batman animated film, with Mask of the Phantasm as a close second. Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (which is on netflix) has to be the funniest movie I have seen in a long time, with some of the hilarious deaths I have seen in any movie.
  20. I will echo the love for Daybreakers, I actually thought it was neatly shot also. Not perfect, but still probably my favorite vampire movie besides maybe Fright Night and Interview with a Vampire.
  21. I have never been so addicted to as I am to Breaking Bad, watched the first three seasons in two days, and only have four episodes left of season 4. It's definitely the best show I have seen this year. Always Sunny I thought was excellent this year, the episode where Dee Gets Audited, Frank's Little Beauties, Storm of the Century, CharDee MacDennis, ThuderGun, The Gang Gets Trapped, and the two Highschool Reunion episodes were some of the funniest stuff this year.
  22. Just saw a commercial promoting a new comic book show coming out on AMC starting in February. The host is Kevin Smith, and looked like it had like a pod cast type set up. I believe it's called Comic Book Guys. Terrible title, but Kevin Smith is in it, so I'll probably give it a shot.
  23. Only problem i had with Captain America was that going in I was like, hell yeah Captain America beating the hell out of some Nazi's, I'm totally down. Instead of getting that, it was one montage of him killing Nazi's to some terrible music in which he was singing. I personally didn't like the movie as well, found it really boring. But Thor is awesome.
  24. Just got back from seeing The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and holy shit was it great. Could have trimmed maybe 15 minutes from it, but it was never boring.
  25. truer words have never been spoken. But I am glad South Park is so high on the list, the season was great. The Broadway Bro Down episode is still some of the funniest TV I have seen all year.
