  1. What did you think of those Exit games? I've played one. My group was a bit hesitant, but once we got into it we had a blast!
  2. If I had the space for it, I'd be doing the exact same thing.

Well, that's because he's alive. In Friday The 13th Parts 2 through 4 you see him move a lot quicker.

I think the Friday The 13th remake works because it's more straight forward. As long as you're not putting him in space or some sort of body swapping worm creature, Jason Voorhees is a hard character to screw up.

But it looks way better in the original without the CG.

Wishmaster 4 is unwatchable. It really sucks that 3 and 4 didn't have Andrew Divoff, but at least Wishmaster 3 was kind of fun with the campus setting. The fourth film is just garbage. I actually enjoy the second movie, though. Divoff is great in the role and the prison setting is different and cool.
  8. This is why I turn CPU trades way down in the sliders.

Just picked up this - Amityville - The Cursed Collection I've had my eyes on the box set for awhile, and with all this quarantine stuff happening I decided to buy myself something fun to cheer me up. Just got it in the mail today, so I'll be diving in soon.

    NHL 18

I would be so angry if I paid for this. Luckily, I was able to borrow it from my brother. I do understand how the game could be a bit lacking in 3 years ago since the NHL team is a lot smaller then the Madden or FIFA teams. But to still have these god awful menus in this version is unforgivable.

    NHL 18

I didn't want to make a new thread... Just played NHL 20. I can't believe the menus are still as awful as they are. It takes forever just to change your lines or search the free agent screen. It's unbearable. And it's been such a huge issue since the last NHL game I played.
  12. I've switched to the Braves. Inciarte has been filling in with Ozuna out with an injury, and he's hitting the ball so well that I don't really want to put him back on the bench. The only problem? The other two outfield spots are taken by Acuna (hitting almost .450 after a month and a half) and Markakis (hitting .330).
  13. Came within 2 outs of throwing a perfect game in the AL Wild Card against the Boston Red Sox. Of course, the hit that broke it up was a bloop hit single that JUST BARELY stayed fair.
  14. I've usually just waited until the off season to deal with extensions, but this time I've signed some mid-season. With the A's having a tighter budget, I need to know exactly how much I have to play around with if I'm going to have any change to sign a free agent. I don't see myself going after any big position players, but one solid starting pitcher would help. Right now, this team is relying on it's power to slug their way to victory. Chapman, Olson, and Davis are all reliable power bats, but I can't rely on the rest of my line-up to continue hitting home runs at the pace their on right now. I think only one of my starters - Austin Allen - is on pace to hit less then 25 home runs. We have a tight grip on the wild card, but trail the Astros by 5 games with 40 or so to play.
  15. Still the first year. I just found out he wants a lot less money then the deal he's currently on, so I'll probably re-sign him for one more year since his batting skills are still pretty good.
  16. I will be. It's just those four I mentioned above that are the issue. Davis and Semian are free agents and want big money, and even with arbitration Olson and Chapman want over $10mil per season. The rest of the roster should be pretty easy to deal with.
  17. I feel like my line-up is pretty strong, so I don't want to sell off Semian and Davis just yet. My only moves at the deadline were to add Brandon Morrow for next to nothing, then move off Robbie Grossman's salary for a really low rated B prospect just to free up his salary. I wasn't using Grossman anyway. I did look at what I could get for Semian, but didn't really love any of the offers.
  18. My Oakland Athletics are 2nd in the AL West but in firm control of the wild card after the trade deadline, but I've just come to the sad realization that I can likely only keep two of Matt Olson, Matt Chapman, Marcus Semian, and Khris Davis.
  19. I think it will bring down their overall by a point or two, but it shouldn't have too much of an effect. Did you give them that role when you gave them their contracts?
  20. The start to the season for my Athletics has been hard to watch. A 6-5 record hides the fact that our pitching has been terrible. Our team ERA is over 6.50 and we always seem to be down by 4 after two innings. We've been able to claw our ways back in a few of these games, and we've already had three games end with walk-off hits or home runs. Matt Olson is on pace to hit 102 home runs, so that's nice.
  21. Can you say no to a position switch? I haven't played RTTS in a few years, but I remember that some positions were more frustrating to play than others.
  22. My only real change to the team to start was trading Daniel Mengden (I just don't like his pitching motion) and a prospect for German Marquez from the Rockies. He's starting the game I have on right now, and he's struggling against the loaded Astros line-up.
  23. I changed my mind and went with the Athletics. I'm working from home, so I've taken to starting a game in my franchise and just letting the CPU run both teams while I work. Just having the sounds of baseball in the background is kind of soothing right now.
  24. Just starting opening day with the Padres, and the first thing that happens in the announce team throws to Heidi on the field. She then goes on to talk about how the players and fans were excited for the team's new uniforms.

Just re-watched Demons (1985) while helping my brother sign up for unemployment. It's such an enjoyable movie. It's so entertaining from beginning to end, and it has an awesome soundtrack featuring Accept, Motley Crue, Saxon, and Billy Idol. The scene on the motorcycle with "Fast As A Shark" blaring is worth it alone.
