  1. King Of Tokyo is a game that's both great with kids, but also strategic enough for adults to have a ton of fun too. And Ticket To Ride is a great game regardless of age.
  2. It's just a lot. Maybe you could have your players transported to another world, like Curse Of Strahd?
  3. I've been all in on this season of Big Brother. I'll definitely give it a listen!

    Star Trek TV

The first episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks is now out. I really enjoyed it - it was really silly, but you could tell that the people making it grew up on TNG. All the little details like the sound effects, the LCARS displays, the font used for the episode title. I actually wish it was longer and slower, but otherwise found it to be very entertaining.
  5. I think the presentation of the games has been pretty good. I don't really miss the crowd.
  6. Yeah, nothing sucks more then rolling a critical and then having it taken away from you like that. Although critical hits in Pathfinder and D&D 3.5 could do a LOT more damage with the right weapon.
  7. If you can play as Squirrel Girl or Dazzler, I'm in.
  8. I had that same thought when I first discovered it, but started watching when they began Season 2. Now it's part of my routine every Monday night (I watch on YouTube).
  9. It's not perfect. The lights need to be upgraded to MLB standard and the clubhouses need changes to be compliant with COVID-19 protocols.
  10. I don't think the name is great, but it's not bad. In 5 years, it will be perfectly fine. EDIT - I didn't realize they had also shown off the jersey. I actually really like the logo and jersey together.
  11. Sportsnet is showing Toronto's intrasquad games tonight and tomorrow night. I'll probably watch a bit.

New "Friday The 13th" Blu-Ray Collection coming from Scream! Factory I'm excited for this. I think Scream! Factory is one of the best when it comes to releasing these horror movies, especially in terms of extra features. I already have Friday 1-8 on Blu-Ray and the rest on DVD, but I am still looking to pick this up.
  13. I almost drove my car off the road the first time I heard "Hello gumshoes!" on Comedy Bang! Bang!
  14. I actually didn't really like The Last Of Us. I found the parts with the clickers to be incredibly frustrating.

I couldn't finish the 4th one. It was terrible. It really sucks that 3 and 4 don't have Divoff back as the Djinn.
  16. Did you trade Grichuk? The last time I played as the Jays, over a full season he hit .199 and was just awful, but in any game I actually played he was great.
  17. It takes a lot longer to get the feel for hitting in MLB The Show. I've been playing since MLB 09, and I still find myself fiddling with the different views and batting controls to try and find something I'm comfortable with. I'll go for weeks were it feels great, then I'll have a 4 game streak where I can't hit anything.

    Star Trek TV

‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Set at CBS All Access Starring Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Rebecca Romijn There is so much Star Trek right now. This is awesome.
  19. I know the package included Anthony Santander and Cedric Mullins. Both players with potential that I didn't really like using in the game.
  20. Playing as the Orioles. Going into season 2, I just wanted the give my prospects time to develop so I signed veterans to short deals. Tanaka and Roark in the rotation, Marwin Gonzalez, Ji-Man Choi and Billy Hamilton in the field. I had added Franmil Reyes at the trade deadline in season one since the Indians were not playing him at all. Now, at the season two deadline, my team is second in the AL East with a commanding 10 game lead on the first wild card. The middle of my line up (Reynold, Mancini, Reyes, and Choi) are crushing it, and my rotation has been very solid with Tanaka being a fringe Cy Young contender. My only real issue with the team was the infield. Marwin Gonzalez fell off the cliff and his production was putrid. Rio Ruiz had turned into a good defender and solid lefty bat, but I lost Hanser Alberto to a broken hand and everyone else (like Richie Martin and Pat Valaika) had struggled. So, I made two deals. I picked up Tommy Edman from the Cardinals and Niko Goodrum from the Tigers. Both are solid defenders who can play all over the infield and a little outfield too. The moves didn't cost me much and really solidified my defence. I also moved Billy Hamilton because he was hitting .180 and Andrew Velazquez had taken over his spot in centre. Here's what my starting line-up looks like... (vs. RHP) CF - Andrew Velazquez LF - Bryan Reynolds RF - Troy Mancini DH - Franmil Reyes 1B - Ji-Man Choi 3B - Rio Ruiz 2B - Tommy Edman C - Adley Rutschmann SS - Niko Goodrum On the bench we have Travis Jankowski, Pat Valaika, Pedro Severino, and two other guys that I'm forgetting at the moment.

Love it. I'll sometimes skip movies if I really don't like them (like Halloween 5 during the Halloween Hootenany) but otherwise I love sitting and watching these movies and learning about how they were made. I've seen Chopping Mall a half dozen times, but watching it with Joe Bob and everyone else on Twitter was fun. Here's something for fans of Friday The 13th - https://www.theringer.com/movies/2020/5/7/21249688/friday-the-13th-jason-voorhees-actors-stunt-stories
  22. I wanted to find his home run against Minnesota that went upper deck in the Metrodome, but this came up instead.
