  1. This is probably the first time in 10 years that I'm not excited for the new game. I don't think I'll be getting it on release, and maybe I just skip a year.
  2. I actually thought Montreal got a great return. They need to make more moves like it.

I might be able to see it tomorrow, depending on the COVID situation in Ontario. I've managed to avoid spoilers so far and am looking forward to see it!
  4. I'm going to wait until all the episodes are out, then use my free Prime month to watch them all. I'm pretty excited, since I actually only started watching Critical Role is Campaign 2.

Psycho Goreman is crazy. Just full of crazy practical effects and an insane plot.

    NFL 2021

I'll never go to a Buffalo Bills game because of all the terrible fan stories I've heard.
  7. At least you went down swinging. My first character death was a Level 12 rogue (in D&D 2E) failing a climb check and falling over 100 feet to an instant death. The wizard could have saved me with Feather Fall but didn't see me fall, so I was out of range before they could get to me.
  8. I don't watch a lot of TV, so I don't have a large list to choose from. These are the ones that stick out in my mind. 1. Chucky 2. Star Trek: Lower Decks 3. Creepshow (Shudder / AMC) 4. I Think You Should Leave 5. Survivor
  9. I ran it for some friends when it came out and it was fun in the beginning, but they lost interest pretty quickly. I think they were level 5 when we stopped? The Rime Of The Frostmaiden game I'm in has been fantastic. It feels like we are nearing the end, but I've had a total blast the whole time. I highly recommend it to others.

    Holiday films

I always do a Star Trek movie marathon at some point during holidays. It goes back to one of my earliest Christmas memories of getting the big box set with all six original movies on VHS and just watching them over and over again.

It gets better and better with each episode. I'm a week behind, so I'll be catching the finale this week!
  12. But who would they trade? I don't think Randal Grichuk holds a ton of power, and Teoscar and Springer are players you want to build around. I guess it's Gurriel Jr., and I have no clue what his value is on the market.
  13. I keep forgetting that the Jays still have Hyun Jin Ryu when I think about their 2022 rotation. He wasn't as good in 2021, but he's a good piece to have. I'd still like to see the Jays add one more arm to the rotation. Alex Manoah had a good debut but he's only got a little over 100 big league innings so far, so I don't want to rely on him to be a key piece next season.
  14. Sounds like Robbie Ray is getting 5 years with Seattle. Sad to see him go - it was great to see him reinvent himself and he was a joy to watch. Report: Robbie Ray finalizing five-year, $115M deal with Mariners (sportsnet.ca)
  15. I didn't like it. I loved the 2018 film, but somewhere during the middle of the movie it just lost me. I do think there's a good chance that when I watch it again on my own, I'll probably enjoy it more.
  16. I'm excited for it. I'll be watching on Monday!

If you enjoyed Friday The 13th, you should check out other slashers from the same time like The Burning, Prom Night, Terror Train, and Maniac.
  18. That first period was rough, but the Leafs dominated possession the rest of the way and were unlucky not to get out of there with at least a point. If they can eliminate the early mistakes (they made the same ones against Montreal on Wednesday), they should be alright.
  19. Anyone watch the games last night on ESPN? Was the coverage better than NBC's?
  20. Oh wow - I thought they still would have Davis on the books, but I guess since he retired they are free from that.
  21. As a Jays fan... I don't really care. Let's focus on the playoff push and the exciting team we get to watch.
  22. Yeah, it's probably my third favourite Halloween film. My top four would be... 1. Halloween (1978) 2. Halloween 2 (1981) 3. Halloween (2018) 4. Halloween III: Season Of The Witch
  23. I don't want to alarm anyone, but my dream last night involved the Canadiens making the Stanley Cup Finals again.
  24. If you like Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, you'll like Reboot. It's got a similar tone, it's just silly fun. I liked it.
  25. I'm right there with you. I've never been able to get a hang of Roll20 as a DM.
