I've liked Discovery since the start, but it's definitely been a very hit-or-miss show. I wasn't a fan of the time jump, and season 3 in particular wasn't very fun. I do think season 2 was incredible, and season 4 had some good moments. I'm excited to see what they do for a finale.

I've liked how Sportsnet doesn't show the pitch clock until it's down to the last few seconds. You can go through long stretches where you don't even notice it.

I actually like the ghost runner because it puts immediate pressure on the pitcher and defence. I was never a fan of marathon games in the middle of the season.

Friday The 13th is my favourite slasher series, but I can't stand Jason X. It's the only one I don't really go back to. The only scene that resonates for me is... The movie does have a couple of interesting kills, but the characters are awful and the sets look cheap despite a pretty big budget. It feels "Canadian", if that makes any sense.

The more I see it, the more I think it will stand out from Ferrari when watching on TV. I have a bit of colour blindness, so sometimes these teams can blend together when they've got similar colours.

I was just about to say I'd rather have Bogaerts, but I checked Swanson's stats and he had a really great 2022. It's also his best ever season as a pro, so I'd be very nervous that I'm buying high and that he won't reach his 2022 level again.

Blue Jays send Teoscar Hernandez to the Mariners for Swanson and Maro. Kind of a bummer, but Teoscar has only one year of control left and the Jays are desperate for help in the bullpen. This also frees up an outfield spot, so I wonder if another move is coming.

John Tavares with a hat-trick last night, and the Leafs finally played an entertaining game of hockey. And now there are rumours that Ryan Reynolds wants to buy the Ottawa Senators, which would be major whiplash from the last 20 years of Melnyk.

Just turned 6th level, but they decided to multi-class into Fighter. Soulknife Rogue, so they don't really need a magic weapon. They do like doing the rogue thing and going off on their own, so maybe something that would help with that? Boots Of Elvenkind are a good idea. Not too strong, but very useful for the one thing the Rogue can do that no one else in the party can really do.

I need ideas for a magical item to give to a rogue that isn't too powerful. Everyone else just recently got some cool loot (they just happened to hit a few things in Curse Of Strahd that worked perfectly for the Paladin, Druid, and Cleric), so I want to reward the rogue player with something too.

The first Terrifier was definitely not for me, but I'm glad the sequel is a success in theatres.

I dunno. I've watched all 12 previous movies, and not all of those have great endings either. I'm probably going to wait until I can get it on Blu-Ray, though.

One thing that these Leafs have had - and continue to have - is a dangerous penalty kill. They always seem to create chances. Samsonov let in a stinker last night but seemed to calm down after and looked OK. The Leafs also did a good job limiting quality chances against him.

Toronto controlled good stretches of the game, but the powerplay just couldn't come together. That final goal by the Canadiens was one that Murray should definitely have stopped. Let's see what Samsonov has tonight.
