You don't have to act or have a voice or anything if you don't want to. If there is anything you need to know for the campaign, the DM should let you know. In the game I DM, only one of my characters puts on a voice and they don't do a lot of roleplaying. They enjoy the other parts of the game more - the combat, the puzzle solving, and the plot of the story.

Oh yeah, if it's to take Checo's seat than for sure you'd have to consider Ricciardo. I was thinking DeVries seat at Alpha Tauri.

I think it would go to a Red Bull academy driver like Liam Lawson.

Saturday's session was a ton of fun! A random encounter saw the party's cart get stuck in the mud, and as they tried to free it a horde of zombies crawled out of the surrounding swamps. I spawned new zombies each round, so the party quickly realized that they had to get moving before too long. The session ended on a big cliffhanger, and now I've got a few weeks to plan a huge fight in the middle of town.

Finally get to return to my Curse Of Strahd campaign this weekend after the last few months were a bit busy for all my players. With all the travelling they've done, they've gone through most of the random encounters in the campaign book. I've sat down and created a few unique ones for the area they'll be travelling through that should be a lot of fun.

It's much better to have teams like Seattle and Vegas succeed quickly than to have teams like the Blue Jackets and Thrashers who sucked in perpetuity.

The good thing with Manoah is that it's not something hidden. It's an issue with his mechanics. So getting him away from the pressure to perform and allowing him to focus solely on the problem should give him a great shot at recovery. If Manoah comes back and is a 3.50 ERA pitcher the rest of the way, I'll be happy.

Leafs and GM Kyle Dubas part ways

I watched Suspiria (2018) not too long ago. As a big fan of the Argento original, I was hesitant to watch this remake. By the end, I was hooked. There is some dodgy CGI, but other than that it's a fantastic movie that is clearly inspired by the original but goes in it's own direction.

I love this clip from the radio call. Bowen goes nuts, then after a long pause Jim Ralph says "What do we do now?"

It's pretty hit and miss until season three.

One thing I like about Oakland is the stadium. I know the Coliseum sucks in real life, but I love the batter's eye in the game. Arizona has a good one too.

There's a voice clip from commentary that plays every game for me about that exact same thing. Same thing - "perfect perfect" contact, 110 MPH off the bat, straight to the second baseman. I find the new scouting system to be a bit tedious. I've already gone back to just setting it to auto. I went through a miserable first season with Oakland. Since all my prospects are still 2 or 3 seasons away (at least) I signed some decent vets on one year deals. I did give decent deals to Ian Happ and Amed Rosario since they were getting low-balled by their teams. Still entered the 2024 season with one of the lowest payrolls, but at least the team is fun to play with.

Yeah, as long as the session isn't a marathon, I could do any of those days at those times.

...and Berrios follows that up with a stinker. At least Gausman looked good, and Manoah was able to work through his struggles in the opener.

Not the best start to Chris Bassitt's time as a Blue Jay...

Nice! I think I'll check it out this weekend. My group finally got together, and they had an encounter against their deadliest foe so far... It was a pretty tough fight with two of the five players getting down to one death save remaining.

This is my first time playing on XBOX Series S instead of PS4, and everything is just smoother. Animations, transitions, everything.

I openly gasped when I saw the Genesis device. And I loved the scene with Jack and Seven where they did a little tour of the ships at the museum. The music cues were awesome.
