  1. I have no idea how I feel about Cagayan... but that could be because they made the same mistake they did with Samoa and made it pretty much an entire season about Tony. Tony did play smart, I wasn't a fan of them bringing back the ultimate hidden immunity idol but he at least used it pretty wisely as a fake out. I think the main problem I had with the season was that Trish, Spencer and especially Kass were just utterly annoying to see on screen.
  2. Finished Blood vs Water, I think it was an enjoyable season with a cool gimmick and it was nice to see someone like Laura M. get to look like a great player and not be stuck with crap like Russell and fucking Shambo being producer pets. Started Cagayan... and how in the hell are the Brains tribe the dumbest tribe is survivor history? It's only been 1 episode and they couldn't build a shelter, they vote out someone on Day 3 because they were worried about Day 30, decide to actively prevent people from playing Survivor and then when J'Tia destroys all their food they VOTE SOMEONE ELSE OUT.
  3. Blood vs Water is a lot more enjoyable than I would have anticipated and its one of the gimmicky seasons I wouldn't be opposed to seeing return. What do I have coming up gimmick wise? Are Cagayan and San Juan normal seasons? I know Cambodia is the 2nd chances seasons. What exactly is the gimmick for Game Changers?
  4. Why did people hate Culpepper? The guy never did anything mean or nasty at all and seems like he probably one of the nicer people to ever be on the show.
  5. So far I'm liking Blood vs Water just because it has so much more to the strategy instead of just alliance vs alliance. Culpepper was interesting in that he was playing so hard from the get go and everyone was acting super bitter towards him, but when he gets voted out he is literally the nicest dude about it the show's probably ever had. Colton on the other hand, fucking wow. He gets all mad because nobody wants to play his way so he quits again, and Jeff is such a dick to him about it (which he should be).
  6. It was really terrible. Jeff talked to Cochran, Brenda, Malcolm, Reynold, Debbie, Phillip and Andrea. 7 our of 20 of the people on the show. Plus Rudy, Boston Rob and some little girl. The two medically evacuated players didn't get a word, in face the only "Fan" to speak was Reynold. If I made a list of the dumbest production decisions on Survivor this would easily be one of them.
  7. I'm willing to rethink my hate for Aras. I think he mostly got it because of how Exile Island played out. He was kind of the straight man to the biggest bunch of misfits ever (Bruce, Courtney, Shane, Cirie, Danielle and Bobdawg) and his little feud with Terry was pretty stupid a lot of the time. He did do a couple of pretty shitty things but I'm not going to put him on my most hated list or anything. Colton however, is going to be much harder to stomach. I also really like how Brenda basically put Dawn in a lose/lose situation, even though it didn't seem to matter.
  8. It was the only time I've thought a reunion show sucked. Overall FvF2 was mind of a nothing season, some more Phillip being annoying and Dawn almost becoming the second coming of Lillian with the amount of crying. The Tribal with the three amigo immunity was fun, and the Final Tribal was probably one of the more entertaining ones just because it seemed a foregone conclusion who would win and people were having more fun screwing around than being bitter about losing. Started episode one of Blood vs Water, I kind of like the concept but the opening game twist was terrible and Redemption Island is not something I really want to see again either. I do however have to give props to Gervase being back for two reasons. One, he was the absolute worst in the challenge and still threw winning in the other tribes face like he actually accomplished something. Second, the fact he said he THINKS he had the longest break between seasons ever... you know the guy who was only in the 1st season and the current one, who could have possibly had a longer breaker?
  9. Okay, I'll take that last sentence back, but to be fair that was probably the only time I didn't really care who won out of the final 3. What the hell was with the reunion show though? No pre jury people on stage was odd, and even then they didn't even talk to like 1/3rd of the people. I don't think Mike, Erick, Eddie or Sherry got to say a word, despite three of them being 3rd-5th. I hope they don't continue like that because I like the reunion shows.
  10. Cochran comes across like a pathetic loser, and anytime he accomplishes anything he instantly becomes an insufferable asshole about it. I hope he loses.
  11. I was a little unsure about FvF2 until the last episode I watched, where Malcolm, Eddie and Reynolds all ended up with immunity and used it to save my life from having to watch Phillip fucking Shepherd try to be Boston Rob. It was one of those moments where you get to see someone you hate go down in flames hard. Not in a self destructive way like Silas or John in Marqueses, but in a way where he could literally do nothing. I feel if I was in that situation I would have said one vote each was going to Cochran, Phillip and Dawn (then all 3 vote Phillip) so it could potentially destroy the alliance since Dawn and Cochran are paranoid as hell.
  12. Heroes vs Villans - Allstar Season Nicaragua - New People Redemption Island - Rob/Russell Return South Pacific - Ozzy/Coach Return One World - New People Phillipines - Michael, Russell and Penner return Caramoan - Fans vs Favorites Blood vs Water - Returning Players Two out of the 8 season chunk I am in have all new casts, but it looks like the next three might all be new people. Hopefully this string of returning people slows down.
  13. While I love the fact that Francesca got voted off first twice... why the hell was she even brought back? Who is going to be on the next Fans vs Favorites? Cowboy Rick?
  14. That Brandon melt down was pretty wild to see, I was wondering if we would ever get a fist fight on the show and we came pretty damn close.
  15. I started fans vs favorites 2... and where are the favorites? Not a single person on that tribe is someone I would have liked to have seen back.
  16. I appreciate the Rob C/Matthew story so much more now once I read that it was basically Frankenstein/Monster and how Johnny Fairplays demise was the perfect end to a villainous character.
  17. But she was nice to look at. After reading the first Funny115 it made me look Survivor a little differently (so thank you). I'm still going to cheer and hate people but I'm going to watch the show appreciating the subplots and ridiculous things. Like Abi trying to bluff there is another immunity idol is comic gold. She buys an advantage and then tells people she has an idol... even though she has to read the note at the next challenge so her lie won't even make it to the next tribal, but she STILL tries to pass it off like there was a second part of the note and Jeff just kinda of goes "ya, okay". Malcolm's brother literally tackling him and Malcolm yelling "why did you do that?" was also stupidly hilarious.
  18. I wasn't completely sold on Phillipines, I didn't much care for the first three episodes being about a tribe that sucked and Russell losing his mind but once you get to the merge that shit takes off. Jeff is an idiot (the baseball dude) because he seemed to only care about getting out Penner and Skupin because they've already played, but then Penner wins immunity and the most predictable boot becomes the most insane episode I've seen so far. If I remember it went 1. Everyone vote Penner 2. Penner won immunity, vote Skupin 3. Malcolm has the idol, blind side him 4. Vote for Jeff 5. Minor vote for Carter 6. Everyone vote Pete Malcolm whips out the Idol, and then Abi does as well, they openly talk about their alliances to the point where you can tell Probst is just enjoying himself. I don't even know who is with who anymore. Of course the best part is Jeff met his worst fear in the game, being voted out before Penner. Also, I wish RC lasted longer.
  19. Wow. I have no idea what the dudes name.. but they plan to blindside Penner and then he goes to Penner and asks "Katie or Penner?" That may be the worst slip I've seen.
  20. Phillipines has the weirdest cast... Dawson's elimination was super creepy, staring at Jeff and kissing him... then saying the baseball dude owes her and she wants a motorcycle and a gun? The girl who said if she could have anything it would be cookies? Russell Swan calling himself God's perfect creature? I thought starting with a dude who's strategy was to say "vote me off" was going to be the weirdest thing in the first half of the season, I was dead wrong.
  21. I actually didn't want to look at that Funny115 thing to avoid spoilers but it seems I can look at the first 2. It really does change some of my views on some players and even entire seasons. Like Palau comes across a lot differently if you do look at it as Chris' revenge story, and that it does seem like the producers tried to manufacture a gender war that failed in the Amazon by having older and gay women. This is one season I didn't particularly like at first because I didn't like Chris, but this kind of warms me on it (though I would have still preferred to see Ami win).
  22. Berserk I'm not an anime fan but I was told I should really watch this and I was super unsure about it because it was released in like 1997... but if you want a show that will shit on your soul this is pretty much perfect. I've been really wanting to actually read it and am stoked that they are doing a new show that is the next chapter of the store.
  23. You could have told me that after the season ended... now this season is going to be really weird and probably lose all enjoyment.
  24. The only real highlights of One World were seeing Alicia and Colton get shit on at the reunion and realizing them came off like complete shitbags on the show. I'm mostly just glad its done. Philippines. I was right about the three returns, plus we get a baseball player and an 80's sitcom star. Michael is going to be the guy I'm cheering for because there is just something about him I really like, except he keeps hurting himself. The first few episodes have been mostly focused on Matsing because it seems that tribe is not long for this world. I don't understand Zane's strategy at all. Three episodes in and its already way better than One World.
