  1. I'm glad you can turn off things like Sonic Boom and Dragon Rage so you don't just lose Pokemon with nothing you can do about it. Doesn't help against Self Destruct and Wobbuffet's but I'm okay with that challenge since you can at least do something about those most of the time.
  2. I just caught up on the double elimination episode. I like how there is a new strategy going on that has been somewhat entertaining most because it was made to make Joe look like an idiot. My only issue is there seems to be too many things happening and nothing has anything to do with the people themselves, just a bunch of idol hints. I still think Ben is winning based on everything we've seen so far but I wouldn't be shocked if he lost to Devon.
  3. I'm three (I think) Badges into my Heart Gold/Soul Silver randomizer and I finally have decent teams to use. Heart Gold - Azuramill (Shiny), Bronzor, Gible, Monferno and Pineco Soul Silver - Bayleef, Froslass, Girafarig, Toxicroak and Rampardos The randomizer is making me enjoy the games because I don't know what I'm going to fight and I end up with some interesting teams.
  4. So what the hell was up with them killing the Warriors Three off like little bitches to replace them with Korg, Valkryie and Mieks? It just seems so out of place since they had 2 movies of being Thor's BFFs. I'm trying to think about the "heroes" that the MCU has killed off and it really stands out.
  5. They have 5 months, that's like one movie every 10 days.
  6. I love how I really want them to nuts and kill some characters off, knowing I'll be super mad that they do it. Yondu was heart breaking. I just hope Korg, Heimdall and Kraglin survive.
  7. Are people from the TV shows going to be part of Infinity War? I haven't watched any of them and don't really care to, I just want to know if I should watch them or just know who the hell they are.
  8. Up to the first gym in Heart Gold/Soul Silver and the game is just being cruel to me as 8 of my 9 pairs contain a Normal, Water or Grass type meaning I can only actually use 2 pairs so far. Azurill & Chikorita - Active Snorunt & Feebas Delcatty & Giratina Mawile & Piplup Cherrim & Spoink Bronzor & Frosslass - Active Treecko & Yanmega Castform & Aggron Starmie & Vigoroth So I have Normal (Azurill), Grass (Chikorita), Steel (Bronzor) and Ice (Frosslass). I can't use any of my water pairs because they are paired with Normal, Steel and Ice. Once Azurill evolves and becomes a Water type I could use Delcatty and Giratina. I would have such a better team if I didn't use my damn shiny Azurill.
  9. Cool, they finally gave a reason why the Season 1 strategy of cover yourself with guts and be invisible is only rarely used.
  10. I would say my top choices are: Final Fantasy - Even though I completely stopped caring after X, but the 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10 are a fantastic set of games even though I haven't actually fully played the Japan only releases or 8. Suikoden - Another fantastic series (save part 4). Suikoden II is one of the greatest stories for an RPG ever and III is a personal favorite of mine. Pokemon - Probably my #1 and pretty self explanatory. Warcraft - Tides of Darkness, Warcraft III and World of Warcraft is a pretty insanely huge trio of games. Fire Emblem - Same basic formula, over a dozen pretty amazing games. I really wanted to say Heroes of Might and Magic but its a series that fell apart pretty badly after they made the 3rd one which was one of my favorite and most played games of all time.
  11. After some tinkering I got Heart Gold and Soul Silver to work, just chose my starters. For Soul Silver my choices were Happiny, Nidoran F and Chikorita. Went with Chikorita. However, my choices for Heart Gold were Chikorita again, Ralt or Azurill. I chose Azurill because it was SHINY! So now I have a shiny Azurill with Huge Power following me around. Seriously, the follow mechanic is such a nice feature that I'm mad wasn't in any other games.
  12. I did it! Moltres, Tauros, Houndoom, Seviper, Raichu and Vileplume Jirachi, Banette, Whiscash, Flygon, Delibird and Hitmonchan Red was mostly a team of Pokemon I like and am glad I got to use (Tauros, Houndoom and Seviper) or just pretty decent mons. Green was a team of mostly people I wouldn't use but it was fun to use Banette, Whiscash and Hitmonchan. I just wish Flygon had a Ground move. Delibird was the only really bad Pokemon I had to go with and didn't ever get an Ice type move. He was literally just there. Gonna see if I can set this up with Heart Gold and Soul Silver next!
  13. Mindless grinding and for the first time ever I encounter a shiny pokemon and I kill it before I even realized it. RIP Shiny Relicanth. However its on an emulator so it doesn't really count.
  14. On to the Elite 4! Red Team: Moltres, Raichu, Seviper, Vileplume, Houndoom and Tauros Green Team: Jirachi, Whiscash, Hitmonchan, Flygon, Delibird and Banette Part of me wants to swap Raichu/Whiscash out for Sharpedo/Raikou but I don't want to do anymore grinding unless I lose a pair. Plus I wouldn't be able to take all 6 pairs into Victory Road since Green wouldn't have Surf. I still find it ridiculous that Tauros gets Surf.
  15. The best first person shooter ever is TimeSplitters: Future Perfect The best game based on a movie is The Warriors
  16. Korg and Skurge were great. Also, Mieks constantly practicing his stabbing in the background.
  17. Up to Cinnabar Island, had some losses due to the level jump for Gyms 5/6. Red Team: Moltres, Raichu, Seviper, Vileplume, Houndoom Green Team: Jirachi, Whiscash, Hitmonchan, Flygon, Delibird I've lost 12 pairs and been unable to catch 9. Six of those failed catches were because of Self Destruct/Roar/Teleport. I have very few potential catches left. I'll get a few from the Islands and then a last one at Victory Road. Hopefully I can get a 6th team member for the Elite 4, otherwise my Green Team is going in with 4 team members and Delibird.... Delibird only has Present and Fly because I can't find anything else to teach it.
  18. Holt is right... it is a cummerbund. Wrestling will never be the same for me again.
  19. Went a major catching spree on my Soul Link now that I got rid of Snorlax. I still have about 15 encounters left under Nuzlocke rules but for the first time I have a party of 6 on each team and they are pretty weird. Red Team: Moltres, Beedrill, Pikachu, Seviper, Umbreon and Trapinch Green Team: Jirachi, Roselia, Whiscash, Hitmonchan, Girafarig and Haunter That leaves Psychic, Rock, Dragon and Ice as the types I do not have on the teams. I hope I can get a better pair than Umbreon and Girafarig but this is the only way I can have 6 pairs. I have some really good pairs in my PC but they would all require me to remove 2 pairs in the team to use one of them (and the 3 best ones all would require me to lose Moltres/Jirachi).
  20. I think Suikoden 2 has the best story in any RPG. Its better than Final Fantasy VI, Earthbound, Mother 3 and Chrono Trigger. It also has the best villian with Luca Blight (sorry Kefka). I also like the idea of Pokemon more than playing the actual games.
  21. I do actually like how they are treating advantages this season. Only being able to use it at the next tribal council is way better than being able to sit on it, and having to give it to someone if you don't go adds extra layers for later in the season. More next tribal only advantages, less idols and legacy advantages.
  22. Slowly made it to Lavender Town, Rock Tunnel was hell and cost me a great pair. Goodbye forever Starmie and Primeape. Route 5: Igglybuff and Arcanine - Could be decent, I really need a Thunderstone to turne Eevee Electric type so I can add pairs Route 6: Politoed and Miltank - Nothing special, the two most common type so will probably never be used Route 11: Lotad and Volbeat - Awful pair and a Crit knocked out Volbeat so they were never caught. Diglett Tunnel: Kakuna and Roselia - Added to the team to fill my Bug/Grass spots. Beedrill is kinda trash but Roselia has a good moveset Route 9: Zubat and Growlithe - Crobat is available so not awful, but I canot use them at the moment. Route 10: Hoppip and Gardevoir - Gardevoir used teleport, goodbye forever Rock Tunnel - Kecleon and Zapdos - Zapdos is a great catch but Kecleon is not. Pending use based on Eevee dying or evolving to Espeon or Umbreon instead. Current Active Team: Moltres, Kabutops and Beedrill Jirachi, Eevee and Roselia Box: Seadra, Furret, Spoink, Cloyster, Zubat and Kecleon Mawile, Bellsprout, Camerupt, Sudowoodo, Growlithe and Zapdos Dead: Machop, Sandshrew, Ivysaur, Starmie Bagon, Mudkip, Aron, Primeape
  23. I don't know, that sounds an awful lot like me
  24. Grinded up my Sandshrew/Ivysaur/Kabutops and Mudkip/Aron/Eevee teams to take on Mt. Moon and things got weird again. Mt. Moon I lost Sandshrew to a trainer's Blaziken getting a critical Ember, so Sandshrew and Mudkip went to the graveyard. This gave me room to put Starmie and Mankey on the team and Starmie became the MVP of his team. Got through all that and... Route 4 - Moltres and Jirachi! I didn't think I would be able to catch both but I did admittedly up the catch rate a little for legendarily to make it possible Sadly a Crit Ember with a Burn took down Ivysaur so I lost my huge pair of Ivysaur/Aron for Moltres/Jirachi. Route 24 - Spoink and Camerupt - Meh pair, only chance they will be used in the near future is if Moltres/Jirachi fall. Route 25 - Cloyster and Sudowoodo - Another meh pair for the box. Current Active Team: Starmie, Moltres and Kabutops Mankey, Jirachi and Eevee Box: Seadra, Furret, Spoink and Cloyster Mawile, Bellsprout, Camerupt, Sudowoodo Dead: Machop, Sandshrew and Ivysaur Bagon, Mudkip, Aron
