  1. While I feel I am going to end up getting it, the issue I have with the Total Warhammer series is that I got into it kind of late and I don't want to spend a ton of money on all the DLC, but without out I feel like I only have half a game since I can't play as a bunch of races and don't have all the units available except for the Lizardmen (because I love them).
  2. The Lava Eel is going to be the end of me, I've failed at catching it twice which is kind of expected since I'm not sure what it's pattern is yet, but I will spend like 8 hours in the mine casting and not even get it to bite once. Krobus is the only one I need to max friendship with now and he is 1 heart away so probably in the next week when I just keep shoving horseradish in his face. and 10 seconds after I post that I cast once, get it and catch it!
  3. I'm not sure what the issue with fishing is, I like it. My goal in the game right now, since my farm is basically making a lot of money with very little work from me now is to just kind of complete everything. The Community Center is done. I have max friendship with everybody in town except Dwarf/Krobus and they are both like 75% of the way done. I have all the fish I can possible catch at the moment (except the Lava Eel) and I will catch all of them once the seasons/plot advance so I can catch the rest I am missing. Cooking all the recipes is going to be a hard one, mostly because I had no idea I had to watch the TV show once a week to get one. Luckily I can still get them and they air re-run episodes once a week so I can fill in the ones I missed. I don't think getting the ingredients will be hard since I started stocking extra seeds and keeping a handful of each type of crop just in case I need them.
  4. I just started Episode 4, I'll probably post more thoughts when I'm finished it but I just realized something. Phase 3 I was excited because I knew it was leading to the Avengers vs Thanos. However, watching WandaVision/Phase 4 hits so different because I'm not really sure what to expect about any of it, even with a lot of the shows/movies being announced. It is just super exciting and already off to a great start. Super minor:
  5. I took some vacation days this week just because I had them and didn't want to work. I decided to finally buy Stardew Valley and I don't even want to admit how many hours I've put into it already this week. It is so hard to stop!
  6. I almost never look at previews or anything (if I can) and like to watch shows/movies mostly blind. I was super happy to see Debra Jo Rupp (which I probably should have expected to be honest) and Emma Caulfield on the cast.
  7. I'm playing the Monster Train DLC beta and does it ever add a lot to the game without really adding a lot. New clan is pretty confusing at first but really it's not harder than the Melting Remnant once you get used to it. The other major addition is there are extra stops you can make for items/upgrades but each one you take makes the enemies stronger and spawn special upgraded enemies. So far a big fan.
  8. Find ways to break the game and break it. Seriously though, the ways to win are to have a dedicated solution to try and do all of the following: Kill the Boss Kill backline enemies Kill the frontline tanks Scale your units There are tons of strategies for each clan and each combination of clan, but each run try and pick 1 or 2 and just stick with it and make it as strong as possible. You do not always need to take a card when offered, if it does not help your particular strategy it is just a wasted draw which makes your deck weaker. For example, say you are doing Hellhorned/Awoken and you go with the Hellhorned Prince that gets attack damage with each slay. And you get an Awokened Hallow. So your strategy becomes to pile heals on so your champion gets stronger and your tank stays healthy. This basically ruins bosses and frontline units, so then you find ways to deal with the rest using spells or other units. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask, even if its just like a card you think it worthless and don't know what to do with.
  9. Wait, those will actually be free? Darkest Dungeon is recommended for sure. Torchlight 2 was something I wanted to try, but I'm happy to get Tropico 5 for free.
  10. I picked up Monster Sanctuary, which is kind of like if Pokemon was a Metroidvania style game and binged it more than I have a game in a long time all weekend. I don't think I'm anywhere near the end but it is quite fun.

Lee Mack is already my favorite contestant. Based on my limited knowledge of the UK comedy scene there are very few people left that I have heard of that could be on it. Lee Mack was one of the ones I was hoping for, along with Sean Locke and David Mitchell.
  12. I think there is some merits to the weekly format even though I also want the binge. Like I'm sure they see The Mandalorian gets talked about for 2 months straight instead of like for a few days like other full show dumps. With the amount of shows they are making it seems almost like they can have a weekly episode and start the next one right away so you basically need a Disney+ account at all times.
  13. We now have the same number of Batman's as we do Sherlock Holmes'. Still, neither comes close to the 4 John Watson's in the MCU.
  14. I currently have 242 hours into Monster Train and have done every possible thing in the game, so ya, I would put that as my #1
  15. You'll find ways that work, and then need to find other ways to win depending on the difficulty, clan combination and what you end up getting. I only have like 6 expert challenges left to beat then I think I have 100% of the current content done.
  16. Oh ya, you get that choice twice per run after the first two bosses. Again, highly dependant on what you need. If you have expensive spells you can't always play get the energy, if you want to cycle through your deck faster get the draw, if you want the extra space get the capacity. I think for Hellhorne Capacity can be good because with 6 space you fit your Price, a tank and then another unit (or imps) on the same floor. Or extra energy if you have expensive spells you want to be able to cast.
  17. @RPS I forget what the requirements are, but its all things that you will unlock by just playing normally. I think you unlock them by getting to a certain level or by killing x number of enemies or something. Each time you play you get XP for the clans you use which will give you more card options and artifact options which will make the later levels easier so really just play and enjoy it. Train Stewards I get rid of every single game. They have some use in the first fight or two but that is about it. I'll use the unstable vortex to get rid of them over paying to do it a shop though. Focus on upgrading your clan units. The Crystal Cloak is kind of a dick. If you know that is the boss its better to set up on the top floor, then when the boss comes just toss some useless units on the bottom two floors to eat up her stealth. Are you talking about the shops here? It really depends on what you need. Health on tanks, multistrike on damage dealers, large stone if you want a big boost and the extra capacity won't mess with being able to put another unit on the same floor. The great thing about this game is that there is not always one best strategy.
  18. I told you it was great. To start, just level up all the clans so you unlock all the cards and artifacts. You'll start to find ways to synergize cards into insanely powerful combos and at higher difficulties you absolutely need to do this to even win. It took me a while to actually get "good" at the game and most of it was just learning how useful cards I dismissed early were just because I was not using them correctly. I think my biggest early tips are 1. Monsters that scale > monster that do not scale 2. Less cards in your deck > more cards. Less cards lets you stick with a specific strategy. 3. Learn what the enemies/bosses do If you need help with specific clans just let me know, especially Remnant. I used to suck with them now I think they might be the best.
  19. Ya, Persona 4 is really good. Kind of an odd mix of going between a real life mystery and going into a fantasy world. You'll probably enjoy it.
  20. I'm the opposite, I love the sprite based stuff. Its the playstation 1 era 3d graphics that get me the most. Chrono Trigger is kind a must play and consider the absolute GOAT of JRPGs. There are plenty of other Tales games so if you liked one you'll probably like the others. I'm more into the tactical RPGs like Disgaea and Valkyria Chronicles myself lately. I might need to play some turn based ones this week.
  21. Have you played most of the classic JRPGs like the old Final Fantasy's, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound/Mother 3, The Suikoden Series? Are you looking for more action rpgs, classic RPG turn based or Tactics games?
  22. Are you looking for stuff just on game pass/steam? Or do you want console suggestions?
