OK, can anyone tell me how to get the real player names for the German national squad? Looking through this thread I can see you need to delete the Fake.Inc file, which I have done but its still coming up with greyed-out players. Is there anything else I need to do? Does it only work when you start a new game?

Got this a few weeks ago along with Ninja Gaiden 2. Haven't played a Tomb Raider game since TR2 on the PS1 (didnt like it), but this one was getting really good reviews so decided to give it a whirl. Not got very far (mainly due to Ninja Gaiden being absolutely awesome!) but I am enjoying it. Still on the first level (currently working out how to kill the big octopus) but I'm enjoying it a hell of a lot more than the PS1 game.

Anyone got any ideas how I can get Van Persie scoring again? He's gone over 1000 mins without a goal (apart from a goal in a pen shoot-out). I've tried telling him I have faith in him, and that there's no pressure on him but virtually every shot he takes goes well wide! Also any tips on how to score more goals in general? Going into December and I still havent scored more than 2 goals in a game in the league? My first choice team is GK: Almunia LB: Clichy CB: Toure CB: Gallas RB: Sagna DMC: Diarra LM: Arda CM: Fabregas RM: Walcott ST: RVP ST: Adebayor

Any tips on the bike chase mission? The one on the 2nd or 3rd island where you have to chase and shoot the guy down, you see him threatening some guy on the floor then takes off when he spots you. He's just too damn fast and even when I press B to lock on his bike and try to shoot i cant hit him, not to mention I suck on bikes and keep losing control and crashing.

Just had the most random awesome victory. I've been a Pro Evo guy ever since the PS1 days, but decided for a change this year and got FIFA last week. Still getting used to it so i am not very good, find it a struggle to score more than 2 goals in a game. Tonight i felt like a challenge, so i went for the Giant Killer achievement (defeating a 5 star team with a half star team), and the first time of trying I beat Chelsea 4-0 with Dagenham and Redbridge!!! I even saved a penalty!!!

Can anyone tell me where the Internet Cafe is on the first island? Had the game for a week and am enjoying it, but i found the cafe once on my first day and cant remember where it is

I got a 360 this week along with Smackdown, GTA and Mirrors Edge, but Smackdown is the game i've played most by far. From the RTW stories I've done HHH (but need to go through it again to go through the other path), Taker (amusing stuff), Punk, and Reys path of the Batista/Rey story. Next up I'll probably do Cena's, then play thru HHH's again, then do the other half of the last one (Batista). Overall its an improvement on last years,i like the new tag team stuff, but there are still times where you feel you dont just FEEL like you are playing SvR08, you ARE playing SvR08! Will probably take a break from the RTW's now and try out a few of the big names i havent played as yet (Cena, Kofi, MVP). Also havent really looked at the Create-a-Finisher yet so will tinker around and see what I can do.

Anyone got any tips on how to tighten up my Man City defence? Just going into October and i've yet to keep a clean sheet in the league, and conceded 3 goals over the 2 leg Euro qualifier against minnows Unirea (although i comfortably went through 6-3 on agg). The only defender i've bought is Marcelo for £4.4m, I've also got a new goalie, Asenjo, after i saw him on a Top 10 Players To Buy In FM09 list. He's 19 and leaky. If he doesnt keep a clean sheet in the next 3 league games (Chelsea, Spurs, Stoke) I'm bringing Hart back in. My current first choice defence is: Asenjo (GK), Marcelo (LB), Dunne (CB), Richards (CB), Zabaleta (RB). Bit short of CB cover as i've only got Ben Haim and Onouha (Kompany is out for 3 months injured ) Got no money for transfers left. Any suggestions on tactics to make my defence less leaky?

Word of warning, do not sign Robbie Fowler! Spent £85k of my £100k bringing him back to Leeds. His record so far? Played 25 (16 starts), 1 goal, 1 assist. Oh, and the goal was a penalty, and the assist was a corner kick

Need some tips on fixing my leaky defence at Leeds. I'm 3rd in the league after 11 games, but i've only kept 2 clean sheets in those 11 games, conceding 15 goals. Surprised i'm only 4 points off the top with conceding so often! My defenders are as follows: Frazer Richardson (DR,captain) Alan Sheehan (D/WB L), Lubomir Michalik (DC), Rui Marquez (DC), Mikel San Jose (DC, on loan from Liverpool, awesome name), Paul Huntington (DC), Bradley Johnson (D/WB/M L), Ben Parker (D/AM L, never started a game). The first four on that list make up my back four (with Marquez and San Jose rotated every few games). What is the best four to pick from that lot? Are there any tactics that would tighten up the back line? The only specific tactics i use on my back line is that the 2 DC's are set to Man Mark instead of Zonal. I currently play a bog-standard 4-4-2. Cant see myself buying another defender with the £15k i have left after buying Robbie Fowler (who sucks!!). I also wanna get a back-up RB for if/when Richardson cant play, any loan suggestions?

Enjoying my Arsenal game. In late November my only defeat has been to Plymouth in the League Cup 4th round on penalties, but like Wenger i played a team consisting of kids and fringe players. Won 9 Drawn 4 in the league, sitting top. Oh, and I went 901 mins without conceding a goal in all competitions, and not conceded a league goal since the end of August! Nihat is a sensation at right wing (has also scored in both games i used him as an emergency striker), well worth the £15m i paid. Only concern is that Van Persie doesn't seem to be able to score for shit. Only 4 goals so far, 2 of those penalties. Thinking of dropping him for Eduardo once he's back match-fit.

Yeah, i'm into mid November and he's only got 2 league goals!!! Says he's having trouble settling in the area. I'll flog him if he doesnt turn it around 2nd half of the season. Thankfully I've bought in Huntelaar who seems to score regularly so I'm not completely reliant on Jo.

Does that have Premier League club badges as well? Is it easy to install? Will it work on games i've already started up or do i have to start a new one?

Just realised a problem. Not a big one, but would be nice to get it sorted. When I run the game through Steam, it works fine and dandy. But last night i created a shortcut on the desktop to make it easier to get into. When I use the shortcut, i get a 'Could Not Load Game' message whenever i try and load my saved game up. The game then vanishes from the screen and the taskbar, and when i try and go back into it it says 'Football Manager 2009 is already running'!!! Not really a big problem if i cant get it fixed as i can run it through Steam, but would be easier to get a working shortcut. Any ideas?

Anyone finding this years game much harder than usual? Maybe its my tactics, but i can barely get a win as Man City. And thats after buying 2 £10m defenders, Veloso, Huntelaar, Vela, and Arshavin! £70m spent, and what do i have to show for it. A league record that reads Played 5, Won 1, Lost 4. Goals For 1 (an own goal!!!), Goals Against 11!!!

Who? No, seriously, i have never heard of him! I take it he's some youngster who has barely played for his team. At least when Walcott was called up for the World Cup people knew who he was. This guy? Nope.

Finally got my game working last night, I have to run it through Steam every time though, but hey, better than it not working at all! Started a game with Arsenal, and i've have a bloody awful start to the season! Signed Veloso, Srna, and Lescott. But my league form is shocking. Played 4, Won 1, Lost 3!!!

Its still saying my Product Key is already active!!!! Has anyone who has had this problem been sorted out yet??

Tried re-installing the game and its still saying the same thing, that my Product Code is already active!!! Grrrr!

Yeah, just tried both of those, still no luck. Grrrrr!

It took me an hour and a half to register it with Soft Anchor. The game launched once the Product Code had been accepted. I saved my game and exited to come back to later. But when i do, it asks me for my Code again!!!! And when I type it in, it says it has already been registered!!!!!!

EVERY TIME I CLICK ON THE GAME TO START IT UP, I HAVE TO ENTER MY PRODUCT KEY AGAIN (AFTER IT TOOK AN HOUR TO AUTHORISE IT LAST TIME!!!!), WHEN I ENTER IT, IT SAYS THAT I'VE ALREADY REGISTERED IT!!!!
