So after probably about 30-40 games over the last few weeks, reading countless tips on how to do it and never getting close, not only do I finally get a ringer in Horseshoes, I get TWO ringers in TWO throws! :w00t: I am loving this game, am just taking my time with it and admiring its awesomeness. I've just done the mission with De Salvo where you get the sniper rifle and have to take out wave after wave of banditos at the ruins of that place.

Been to the cinema twice this week: Four Lions: A comedy about suicide bombers?? How could a comedy about something so controversial be so damn funny??? So many highlights, moved from serious to hilarious seamlessly, great cast of characters. And done in such a way where I laughed all the way through the film, but made me think on the walk home. A definite dvd purchase. 8/10 Nightmare On Elm Street: Shock horror! A horror film remake that ISN'T terrible?? Sure it's not in the same league as the original by a long shot, but its still a half-decent film. The new Freddie (Jackie Earl Haley, I think) does a good job, even if he overdoes it at times. The acting and characters are pretty dull, but the recreated scenes from the original mostly come across well. I liked that we get a flashback to Freddie's death, added a lot to the character. Some of the visual effects moving from reality into dream are well done as well. 5/10

When I heard this was limited release, I was worried I would have to trek for a while to find a cinema showing it, but the Odeon 3 minutes walk down the road is showing it!!! Awesome!!! No one wants to see it with me but hell, based on the clip posted earlier, its worth going by yourself!

Anyone know if/when season 2 is starting in the UK? The first season was on Bravo and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Maybe being majorly thick but I have just bought the game (TEW 2010) and decided to use Bill's update however I am really stuggling to get the updates in the editor.....can anyone help? admitely awful with computers! After last nights Smackdown, 79 seems much too low for Swaggers overness. The guy was getting major heat from the crowd during his promo. Maybe a bump to 85-86 is in order? BTW, I am playing my game using the March update, so this may have already been addressed in the April one. If it has, apologies. Also, I noticed MVP using a new finisher last night, referred to by the commentators as the '305'. Maybe put 305 in place of the Drive By, as I cant remember the last time he used that as a finisher, whereas he still uses the Playmaker.

I finally got round to seeing District 9 when I rented it on LoveFilm. I'd heard mixed reviews from this but I found it brilliant popcorn sci-fi entertainment. Nice to see something different done with the normal alien movie formula, and for the most part it worked really well. The main character came across as a really annoying prick in the first 15-20 minutes but he grew into it, and I really felt for him at the end. Wasn't a fan of the 'TV report' style of the first half hour, would've been better if they'd kept that for the first 10-15 minutes. The aliens looked brilliant as I was expecting as well. I'll probably pick this up on dvd when I see it in the sales, will be a decent addition to the collection. 8/10

I only really play this now to keep the in-game champions the same as real life. I think next year I'll wait a couple of months and get it half price.

Loved the first season of this. Interesting history stuff + badass weapons being tested = Greatness. Any idea when its airing the in the UK on Bravo?

My laptop screwed up a few days ago, and as a result I had to delete EWR and reinstall it (along with the latest stat update). Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent logo/banner/pic pack?

This was shown on ITV1 last year in the UK. Watched 3 episodes before deciding it was absolutely terrible.

In my Sunderland game I qualified from my tough Champs League group with a game to spare. Drew 2-2 at home against Milan. Usually I'd be stoked with that result but I was 2-0 up with 6 mins left!!! Grrrr!

I took Sunderland to 4th in the league in my first season! Edged out Liverpool on goal difference, who finished 5th! Lost the away leg of my qualifier to Hamburg 3-1, but took the home leg 2-0 to get in on away goals. Didn't think I had a chance of qualifying from a group including AC Milan, Zenit, and Athletic Bilbao, but three games in and its won 2, lost 1 (away to Milan 2-1), so there's a chance I could get Sunderland to the second round of the Champs League! :)

I bloody love nature shows, and no one does them better than Attenborough and the BBC. Loved the first one, couldn't believe that seal survived the killer whales attack.

I did an Invincibles season with Arsenal a while ago. And with a better record than the actual Invincibles from 03/04. Won 2 more games than them. W28 D10 L0 And the next season I only lost 2 (Man U did the double on me)

Really enjoyed this. The random autocues were hilarious, I had tears coming down my cheeks from laughing so much. Oh and Deadliest Enemies (or whatever it was called) looks amazing. IRA vs Taliban!!!
