There's a Chris Botti show comming up at one of the PACs near me, and it sounded compelling. Only problem is I've never heard of. However, I have a few songs left on my Napster card and was hoping someone here could recomend me a song or two. Personally I prefer uptempo stuff.

That's terrible, his movies with Gene Wilder was absolutly halarious, espically Stir Crazy. He'll be missed.

I also like both shows, I espically like the little "truth" references at the beginning. My favorite would have to be "Jump down, turn around, pick a pail of truth, this is The Colbert Report."

I was hoping that someone could tell me about some songs that feature the trumpet as a melody, if someone could, that'd be great.

Jingle Bells by Barenaked Ladies, it starts off terribly slow, but it gets going after about a minute and it's simply great. As is their CD, Barenaked for the Holidays.

Halo 3 comes out the same day as PS3. And as for the clipping, I saw no such thing when I was playing.

SIMPLY AMAZING!!! There was a demo of Call of Duty 2 at Wal-Mart, and it was beyond beautiful. I was going to wait until my B-Day in June to get it, but after playing last night I can't wait, it's going at the top of the Christmas list. So, has anyone else played it yet? And what'd you think of it?

I use IGN mainly, with the odd trip to gamespot.

I play for a few hours on Friday night maybe, and then a lil during the day on Saturday, and sometimes on Sundays while I flip through the football games. I used to play more on Fridays and Saturdays, but I've gotten a habit of going out lately.

WOOOO Sox win! And I was right on every bet I made. The sox were so underrated this year, the pitching staff was incredible and the offense was really bolstered by the addition of Pierzynski and Podsednik. I went down to my dad's house in Chicago for 4 days after they won the series, and a ton of the people who go to Cubs games simply to be seen at a Cubs game all had to go out and buy their Sox gear for next season because, come February it'll all be Cubs apperal again. And Comisk-ular (a baseball fan picks up on that one) Field will be jam packed. Which is good, but it'll be like Wrigley for a long time....I hate the cubs... However, the parade was awesome, and I loved the rally. They're a great team who should only get better next year, espically if they resign Konerko and get rid of Thomas, Griffey would be a great DH, they need more leftys in the lineup. Also, I beleive Uribe should've been MVP, his defense was stellar in the series and the catch in the stands should've sealed it, but when that's the only complaint.....life is great as a sox fan. Finally, to anyone who claims to be a sox fan, and isn't known to be a sox fan previously, I've created a 5-step test for them... 1. Name the current Manager 2. Name the current GM 3. Name one of the Co-Owners 4. List the Starting Lineup of The Sox 5. Bo Jackson is a good one, but I'd have to go with Gale Sayers, he only played 6 or 7 seasons and was still one of the all-time rushing leaders.
