Awesome back and forth fight with Brock (who was presumably undefeated for seven or so years), we stood and brawled in the 1st round and did the same on the ground. In the 2nd round I was getting beat on by Brock while we were standing, I got a good counter and hit a take down. Advance up to the Sallaverry and the mount, it was game over. Edit: Yes, sallaverry seems kinda shady, but I use it only when I feel like "making a point." Basically when you'd want to tell someone, "I can do whatever I want and you can't stop me."

Not a problem, it only took me an entire night of playing and periodically scrolling through the camps to find it...I've been taking one attribute at a time and moving them up, I've got a couple to 70 now and Alexander "The Last Emperor" Wendland is doing pretty well. Still can't make that PPV hurdle yet though.

Anyone know which camp you learn the Sallaverry transition from in career mode? Edit: It's the Hit Squad

This is insane, now nothing will load if I'm signed into Xbox Live. I can't even get to the main menu, all I get is that white "connecting" icon at the top of the screen. What a disappointment, THQ just can't seem to do this. First the late demo codes, then the TUF pack codes didn't work for almost a full day, and now I can't even play the game. Wow. Edit: Strike that, it loads, but not within 10 minutes.

1) but I WANT a monster CAF haha. 2) Big Country has the crucifix, but I don't think it tells you how to get there in the actions list. I was in side control on the defensive left, then held LB and did a minor transition going up and to the right. Brock never stood a chance. 3) Anyone try the Shaq code yet? I haven't been able to get it to work, but that's pretty much par for the course considering the TUF fighter pack codes. Hopefully it'll all get sorted out soon and then I'll have Shaq!

Just read an interview that he won't be doing MMA, probably because he's still not very good at it. I could totally see him doing Live since he's the Knicks TV guy, but he doesn't do enough national NBA games. Someday... Back to this game, any opinions on using the right thumb stick to lean as opposed to the highlight stick? I think its going to take some major getting used to, but it should lend itself well if implemented correctly.

They already have a deal with ESPN, I'm not sure why they don't use their presentation though. I'm just happy to have Gus. It's possible that Gus is doing every EA Sports game now. He does Strikeforce shows, NFL, and NCAA Basketball mostly. Just gotta get him on the PGA, NCAA Football, and the NBA. I'd be fine with him announcing the Bucks games, I'd probably watch them then...

First weekend after finals and I was looking forward to logging some serious hours with this, but my roommate left to go home for the weekend and inexplicably took the power cord for the TV with him....what a douche.

Yeah, I've found Rampage to be the easiest. He's terrible on his back. It seems that Rua knows what I'm doing every time I make a move.

I've found Rua to be the hardest person to fight...he seems faster than everyone else. KO-ing ANYONE in the first round on expert is worth noting, but what's left for May 25?

I've been watching Mad Men, which I'm sure has been mentioned in here...possibly even by me, I can't remember. I've made it all the way to season 3 now though and it's getting better with every episode. So many storylines to follow and the characters are fantastic. The only part I didn't like/understand was Don's extended California trip in season 2...

To sway you have to be planted and holding RB and then flick the LEFT stick any any cardinal direction. It takes some practice, but I've been practicing it a lot and when you hit a counter shot perfectly...Ho-ly shit. Hit two that were awesome, one with rampage where I dodged a left and came across with a massive left hook while Rashad's right arm was in full swing for a haymaker cross. Dropped him. The other was with Rashad against Rampage, I ducked a straight left and smashed him with a left uppercut that dropped him and was probably the hardest punch I've seen in this game. The sway lends a whole new dimension to the standing game and I think its great, but its really hit and miss. Really shows you the risk and reward of being a counter-puncher. Finally, it seems to me that if you turn the right stick to the left it works better for transitions than turning it to the right. Anyone else notice this? It seems odd and kind of unfortunate to me because I've always gone right.

One of 2 games I'm looking forward to. The standoff at the start of multiplayer games is one of the coolest ideas I've heard in a long time. Also, I'm in for a 360 posse.

I don't even know HOW to do a reversal, much less master them.

Found a MAJOR issue while playing with friends. The same issue from last year with people getting a takedown and then the fight is essentially over. You can't get out of it. Anyone had this issue or got a solution to it?

Every time I'm in side mount it goes to north-south whether I do minor or major transitions...
