  1. Boysetsfire is decent. Lots of politics in their lyrics, though. Most of their songs sound like that. The song After the Eulogy has some more screaming, as does Twelve Step Hammer Program. Loser of the Year Award is more emo-y, but still decent, as is Timothy. Still Waiting for the Punchline is like Rookie, also very good. Vehicle is REALLY old, and shows just how much they've improved - mostly vocally. The singer sounds terrible on this song, but it's good for comparison. The other two bands you listed suck ass.
  2. Theo is a drunken idiot. Is that what you strive to be?
  3. ICHIRO BREAKS THE RECORD!!!!!!! 258 slappy grounders, choppy hits, bloop singles, and infield hits!!! Yay!
  4. Oakland will beat Anaheim. Houston will take out San Fran. And bam. No Cali teams in the play-offs. Well except your Dodgers, syco.
  5. And Oakland > Angels, San Fran, and LA. Washington will be named the Nationals, I think. That's what I heard, anyway. The Expos moved. Boo hoo. Nobody in Montreal cared, and if they did, they certainly didn't do anything about it - judging from the 3900 in attendance in the 50,000 seat stadium for their second last home game EVER.
  6. Let us not forget the remake of the Italian Job, that blew. ←
  7. Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Kill Bill 1 & 2 Die Hard With a Vengeance Jurassic Park The Lost World: Jurassic Park Memento Requiem for a Dream FIGHT CLUB! Stand by Me Edit: Jurassic Park/The Lost World, and Die Hard may not be "cult" classics.
  8. 259, because he'll leave everyone in suspense until the last game of the year, with 256 - and then he'll go 3/5 with two singles, a double, a fly out, ground out, and a walk, and break the record.
  9. I just finished playin NHL 2005. DO NOT GET THIS GAME. It sucks fucking ass. I'd go with 2k5, and I'm *going* to go with 2k5.
  10. I just love how he's SMILING IN HIS MUGSHOT. Brilliant.
  11. If people insist on keeping Theory of a Deadman, Nickelback, Default, and Three Days Grace around, they should just select one member of each band, and combine them to make one shitty band, as opposed to four shitty bands. The other members can be burned to death.
  12. Pulp Fiction Gump Shawshank True Lies Speed Lion King All that other shit In that order.
  13. McCabe has already backed out, as has Aki Berg. Not sure about Belak - I'd think he'd want to play in the AHL and make decent money [maybe a grand a week] than play in the OSHL and make $400 a week. Edit: But there he is - playing in the OSHL. Along with Brian Gionta, Dan Cloutier, Andrew Raycroft, and a host of other NHL'ers. Huh, looks like this one didn't fizzle out after all.
  14. http://www.nike.com/canada/nikehockey/lockout// The saddest, most depressing commercial I've ever seen.
  15. "Bad hockey played in Barrie" And you're proud of this?
  16. do you possibly know who else is in the band? I'm just curious ( and lazy too ) so i cant look it up at the moment. ←
  17. "Different Seasons" by Stephen King [features four "novellas", three of which were made into movies - The Body (Stand By Me), Apt Pupil, and Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption (Shawshank Redemption, obviously)]. Good stuff. The fourth novella [The Breathing Method] is sort of lame. "Microserfs" by Douglas Coupland. This guy is AWESOME. I've read five of his books [Microserfs, Life After God, Generation-X, All Families Are Psychotic, Polaroids From the Dead], and they are all [with the exception of the non-fiction Polaroids] really, really good, especially Life After God and Microserfs. "Deliverance" by [i forget]. Decent, but slow, and yeah.. I'm pretty much done with reading now that I'm back in school and my reading time has now turned into homework time.
  18. Don't forget, guys.. Detroit won the second half of that double header 8-0, so - it was just a fluke.
