  1. He was so good in the earlier Champ Mans!...injuries did him over though.
  2. it's happened before, a more recent high profile one would be the Ghana-Uruguay World Cup Quarter Final where Luis Suarez put a hand out to stop Ghana from scoring and then Gyan missed the resulting penalty and eventually Uruguay won.
  3. What a game! Hernandez should have scored at least two by now!. Defending has been shocking all around but man Barrera and Dos Santos need to bring this sort of form back to England cause it makes for some good watching
  4. You know he actually strikes me as the type that won't find a move and end up at Turkey.
  5. Definitely, it's also usually the top Turkish clubs that go after 'name' foreign players too so there's the chance to play in the Champions League/Europa League.
  6. Ran into the same problem as you...except I solved it by loaning in a 33 year old David Luiz to play right back and he absolutely fucked everyone up
  7. It's okay too...not like Milner's any better.
  8. If you have money left over go for Dzmitry Verkhostov, he's from Belarus and absolutely carried my Villa side to a League Cup win and numerous victories before I was rudely sacked for getting raped by CSKA Moscow
  9. I agree with 9 to 5 that a succession game might lead to a sort of "deadline" forming and people might start finding it tedious instead of enjoying a game, everyone starting a game and just progressing would be better in my opinion. Also to the person that asked about Fulham's budget, this link has the info for all English teams(5 divisions) http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/24766/t689249-english-league-teams-information-wages-transfer-budgets-all-5-divisions. Fulham's is around the 400K mark.
  10. Sounds fun I am down with doing it since my United game is getting so stale maybe a mid-table Prem team that haven't achieved much? Fulham?
  11. Started to get a bit bored of all the world class players being regens so I have started spending big time to get the few remaining "real" world class players into the United team, Ozil-Hazard-Hernandez-Rooney A 35 year old Wayne Rooney is retiring at the end of the season though, his acceleration has dropped to 9 but he's still scored 23 goals this season looking to replace him with Lukaku whose got brilliant stats but is wasting away at Man City. Really struggling in the league now, it's April and Arsenal are 10 points ahead and I am struggling to hold onto second spot with Villa and Chelsea on my tail, Hernandez who was insanely good has started to decline alongside Rooney putting too much pressure on Hazard and Ozil to get the goals and while they have delivered we have dropped some silly points. Going to play through just one more season I think since I want to end things on a winning note.
  12. Bangladesh, you know you want to.

  14. Got a stream going and geez Danny Rose is getting bullied, they need someone else down that side.
  15. That midfield looks like it can be run over
  16. Pleased to hear Welbeck and Smalling did well, thought Spain would batter England with the squad they have!.
  17. Jones will still be a United player at the end of this I think, depends how much Fergie wants him if he's hell bent on getting Phil Jones like he was when he chased Hargreaves(which concluded after a year of negotiations) then he'll make it happen...probably by tossing in someone like Brown/Gibson/Diouf in exchange along with the 16 million. If not it's not the end of the world, I like our current crop of defenders
  18. Try and get Portsmouth back in the Premiership? or make a Dutch side a European powerhouse again
  19. To entertain myself I randomly ventured to the League 1 Table and signed up the top scorer(playing for Peterboro) for Man United, gave him a few run-outs and he now has 4 goals in 6 games and has struck up a partnership with Hernandez that has seen Rooney shifted to the left wing
  20. The rumor I heard was the club owed his agent Jorge Mendes who also worked with Ronaldo,Nani and Anderson a favor
  21. Perhaps stuff like Diouf/N'Gog going in exchange still have to be sorted...or the clubs are working on other signings before unveiling them together which is likely since both United and Liverpool are actively chasing players. Also read that while Gibson and Brown are ready to go, O'Shea is reluctant to make the move so that transfer is being delayed as well.
  22. I read posts from some "in-the-knows" saying Jones turned down higher wages at Arsenal for United, not sure how true those are though.
  23. Gibson going wouldn't leave us with a huge gap cause Pogba and Tunniclife are just as capable of doing what he did for the team not to mention Jones being able to step out as well.
  24. Just can't picture O'Shea wanting to leave, he always makes lots of appearances and is on a big wage that Sunderland won't want to match. Maybe we can convince them to take Obertan?
  25. Brown's career has just been horribly ravaged by injury, he would have been our stand-out defender in the double winning season had Vidic and Rio not had spectacular seasons as well, he played almost every game at right back and kept Ronaldo very well protected. He'd be a good signing for a team like Sunderland. I will be one sad panda if John O'Shea is sold though, he's the fucking man.
