  1. Inexcusable from Rooney on the plus side that was a hell of a run from Welbeck a bit ago. Montenegro score!
  2. I think Santana's the best performer of the bunch so I hope she becomes the star of the new choir club that's starting up, the second episode although I am only half way through has been a lot more enjoyable than the first.
  3. Berbatov at center back was glorious , Fryers looked very composed too shame he had to go off, when are the next round matches announced?
  4. Fulham would have scored quite a lot if Gael Givet didn't throw himself at every cross that came in, he was great there might be something there for Blackburn with Goodwillie-Fornica-Rochina but they're young and it's going to take time, hope they don't get relegated United vs Chelsea soon, should be a cracking game we have been brilliant so far this season but Chelsea have been doing the job as well, hope Giggs keeps up his streak of good games against Chelsea since he'll probably be in instead of Cleverley.
  5. It still feels weird not having John O'Shea around the team, how have he and Brown done at Sunderland so far?
  6. Stoke would suit what are likely to be Lukalu's strengths and speed up his development...the dude just strikes me as a goal scorer I want this to go through just so I can take a punt on him for my fantasy team. Stoke are also trying to sign Darron Gibson and Spurs are in for Hargreaves apparently
  7. Has anyone here ever had Wesley Sneijder in their team? used as an advanced playmaker with someone ala Fletcher doing the running for him he's magnificent, I signed him for 9 million when his legs had gone and he took me to Champions League glory over much better teams, his stamina is absolutely shot now so I have let him go but man he was incredible. Also in my game Arsenal have this bloke Yaya Sanogo whose got 115 goals in 91 appearences for them...including 61 in one season.
  8. Thought this was a good read and figured I'd share. Such a shame, that free kick against Arsenal was the defining moment of our season to me...really hope he finds a club.
  9. Great player on FM and thus a good signing, they need to get Cherno Samba next.
  10. Great list so far, great to see Hayling listed!
  11. Weiss was a talented player, could have seen him doing good for a team like Everton but he was never going to break into the City line-up with all the cash that they have now.
  12. Pedersen with a great header to pull one back for Blackburn, this ones about to get interesting hopefully!
  13. Hope Tuncay comes back to England(although he left so recently has he failed to settle in Germany?), he's always been one of my favorites and Stoke just didn't suit him.
  14. http://www.last.fm/user/HayleysDeathCab So far I have High compatibilty with Liam and Medium with GoGo, added some of you people only started using Last FM regularly again a few months ago.
  15. Ledley King surely won't be able to carry on much longer, Kaboul might find himself having to step into full back lots because of his versatility and Samba is an improvement on Bassong. He'll probably score a fair share of goals if they do sign him too cause Spurs have some great midfielders who can exploit Samba's heading prowess, I think he's worth the money.

  17. Took over a relegated Wigan Athletic and have won the Carling Cup!. Knocked out Chelsea on penalties, beat Man City 3-2 and beat Blackpool in the semis before a 3-2 win in the final, Denilson and Walcott's goals countered by a Rodalegga brace and a Gary Caldwell header all set up by loan star Gael kakuta. Promotion is a certainty with us safely occupying 2nd spot only below Sunderland who have had a perfect season...they have kept Bent,Gyan and Henderson despite being in the Championship and torn everyone apart. I need some suggestions on wingers though because at the moment Bebe and Kakuta are doing the business for me but they're both on loan and I can only see Bebe joining permanently and even that's a stretch. Current Starting Eleven: GK: Simon Mignolet DL: Maynor Figueora DR: Greg Halford DC: Ciaran Clark DC: Gary Caldwell DMC: Hernan Bernandello MCL: James McArthur MCR: James McCarthy AMR: Bebe AML: Gael Kakuta ST: Hugo Rodallega Lot of big teams sniffing around Rodallega so in the event that he leaves I have James Vaughan coming in at the end of the season and Leigh Griffiths/Di Santo are here as well but it's the wings that need sorting.
  18. They're pretty much having the same trouble in real life with the likes of Bridge and SWP and co
  19. I can't find the YouTube video anymore but there was a clip of him from that Portugal match where he picks up the ball and just goes on a crazy run doing some stepovers that leave Ronaldo on his arse. He was so so good when he managed a full season for United, wouldn't have won the Champions League without him and for that I hope he's fondly remembered by United fans, hope he gets a good deal somewhere.
  20. John O'Shea to Sunderland seems like a certainty. Absolutely gutted, going to miss having him him around if the deal goes through.
