  1. Yeah, that's pretty good. It was between Shady and Johnson for me, but I went with Shady just in case Johnson's hold out is legit and it lasts into the season.. and since he's already foregone his 4th accrued season, I'm guessing he's in it for the long haul. Besides, in a PPR, McCoy is money.
  2. Seriously? It's pretty well known that LeSean McCoy's nickname's Shady, dating back to his Pitt days. Figured that would be pretty common knowledge here, too. Whatever, I'll try not to be so damn arcane from here on out.
  3. You know he's still hurt, and is looking at heavily splitting snaps next year, right?
  4. Oh well, Jahvid Best is a beast. They need to pick up someone for goal line situations now, tho.
  5. Rumor mill time: http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2011/8/8/2351537/proelite-showtime-cbs-ufc-strikeforce
  6. How about editing the rules into the OP, for convenience's sake?
  7. Sucks, Light Heavy can use all the depth it can get, and Hamill still would've worked in that gatekeeper role (since Franklin doesn't want to do that).
  8. Bill Belicheck says Hi. He's a better coach and drafter, Reid fills holes better. If Reid could coach and there was no such thing as Spygate he'd have 2 or 3 rings at this point and Belichick might have 1. Woah, let's not get ahead of ourselves here and pretend only the big, bad Pats were the ones jacking signals. They were just the ones who got caught. That's a pretty severe claim, got any evidence to support it? I know I'm a bit late on this but he's right. Jimmy Johnson has admitted to "stealing" signals as well and he was taught to do it by other teams. It's a common tactic in the league and really isn't that much of a big deal as the media or Goodell made it out to be. Besides, even after getting caught, they still went on to have an undefeated season and still are consistently among the best in the league so I doubt it really made that much of a difference. Pretty sure I've heard that Howard Mudd, Marty Schottenheimer, Jim Johnson, Tony Dungy, Mike Shanahan, Bill Cowher, etc. have done it as well. I'd be willing to bet just about the entire league has, or possibly still does, "steal" opponents signals. Oh, I missed that post. My bad. But yeah, Jimmy Johnson and Schottenheimer (and the guys who coached under Schottenheimer) were who I was thinking of.
  9. Oh my, Rory MacDonald. He's the white Jon Jones, donchaknow?!
  10. DREAM announced the brackets for their upcoming Bantamweight GP today: Really looking forward to seeing Marques and Saadulaev, and Banuelos/Tokoro & Imanari/Cullum should both be fun fights. Interesting to see how Kawajiri looks at Featherweight, too.
  11. < -- Corn on the Kolb. Will (probably) change it as the season gets closer/starts.
  12. What? They already air the M-1 shows. They air the M-1 shows because that was one of the conditions of Fedor signing with Showtime/SF.
  13. I wouldn't bet on it. He was far from a sure thing as a 34 LB to begin with, and putting him in the 43 seems like a total miscast and misuse of his abilities.
  14. Can you get your hands on a Ray Rice, Arian Foster, Rashard Mendenhall, etc. with that pick? If you can, then don't take the deal, but if they're already locked up then yeah, go for it. Your HBs are pretty blah.
  15. A United Glory/M-1 partnership makes a lot of sense, even if M-1 doesn't take on the kickboxing half of UG.
  16. What's the fun in doing an offline draft? Or are we running it on EWB itself?
  17. To be fair, not many people can take a clean Hendo uppercut like that and not go lights out.
  18. Bill Belicheck says Hi. He's a better coach and drafter, Reid fills holes better. 19. Yeah, this. He was out cold from the first uppercut, you didn't see him go completely limp and eat shit? The next couple of shots (which I think were technically illegal, but whatever, it wasn't intentional) stirred him back to life and then he started to roll over, but that was a legit stoppage. It's a shame because I would've loved for him to come back and win the fight like he used to always do, but oh well. It is what it is.
  20. The bigger issue is the lack of depth in Strikeforce's divisions, but I thought Woodley/Daley was a bad match-up from the get-go. Daley is a slugger through and through, and has relatively nothing to offer off of his back or via his grappling; he's the black Dan Hardy (with actual KO power). Matching him up with a powerhouse wrestler like Woodley was just asking for a boring fight, which does nothing for anyone.
  21. I think Lawler forgot how to punch there at the end. Whodda thought stacking a card with nothing but Striker vs. Grappler match-ups would lead to nothing but boring decisionfests?!
  22. That doesn't stop him from spewing non-sense. Miletich is the best one out of the lot.
