  1. I liked Goodfellas more than Scarface, one of the reasons being that Paulie's mannerisms are almost extactly like my uncles and my uncle even looks like a younger version of him. It's freaky really. I saw Scarface before it got it's second wind in popularity and I really didn't see much in it. After I saw it a second time last year, I enjoyed it a bit more but I still think it's incredibly overrated. Casino is on the level with Goodfellas, IMO.
  2. I didn't even notice you had Randy Moss too! Plaxico AND Randy! My God. Your stock is rising in Blue's book. If you had Daunte Culpepper and Heinz Ward I'd have to marry you.

    The Clash

What about "I Fought The Law"? That's an awesome song.
  4. Another Our Lady Peace song would be Thief, I think it fits the so called "beautiful" criteria.
  5. The only knowledge I have of Ween is that one of their videos was on Beavis and Butthead once. "Heh, look Beavis....it's Weeeeen, heh, heh". How I miss my childhood.
  6. Cheer for Pittsburgh. After the season the Steelers had last year my team needs as many Terrible Towlers as possible. And Plaxico Burress is 12 times better looking then Tom Brady on a bad day.
  7. Nonpoint....great band. I started to listening to them back in January/February and now they are one of my favorites. Listen to Wait, The Truth, Hide and Seek, Normal Days, Impossible Needs, Excessive Reaction, Endure, Back Up, Mislead, Any Advice....fuck, as many as possible. Then buy the CD's and support the band, fool. Also check out Flaw, a little known band that Fitzy turned me onto. Thanks Fitzy, great choice.
  8. I saw the Saku/Royce fight in full. The first time I watched it the whole way through with ease, but as I viewed it more and more I found it harder to watch in one sitting. It's so damn long and once you know what happens in specific places you either end up skipping through the bulk of it or turn it off in hopes of restarting it in a few hours. And I too am a big Uno fan. Not the best lightweight, but certainly one of the more entertaining to watch. The lighter guys are always fun to watch, Caol Uno, Genki Sudo, Duane Ludwig, Yves Edwards, Hermes Franca, Din Thomas, Jens Pulver, the list could go on. Man, keep this up, we hardly ever get good MMA threads going on over here.
  9. Except for that God awful Royce Gracie vs. Nobuhiko Takada snoozer. That was without a doubt the most boring MMA fight ever.
  10. Watching Vitor punch rush Wand to hell makes me smile ever time I see it. Even if you aren't a Belfort fan, watching his TKO's are something else. Those knees to Marvin Eastman, ouch. And I hope Liddell takes out Couture. Not that I don't like Randy, I'm just a big Iceman fan. Looping hooks, baby, if he lands of couple clean ones it's lights out Captain America.
  11. Not really fuck you Ogawa, it's more like fuck PRIDE....ok, that was harsh. But seriously, Ogawa was given the easiest path to the semi finals. PRIDE was determined to have a home grown hero make it far. He beat Leko in the first round, a man who had no MMA experience, then Giant Silva, who has little MMA experience and is slow as fuck. Sure, he had a power and strength advantage, but really...he had little chance. And I'm sure if Fedor and Nog didn't advance to the semis, Ogawa would been given the easiest opponent again. Thankfully, PRIDE knew the real money was in a Fedor/Nog rematch and Ogawa was fed to the Cyborg.
  12. And UFC continues to put together more and more exciting shows. Kyle loses. Terrell continues to steam roll. Edwards amazes yet again. Liddell KO's Tiger and earns a shot at the LHW championship. The only thing that upset me is Belfort losing. I respect Couture, he is one of the all time greats, but Vitor was one of my first true favorite fighters and I'm upset he lost. All in all, one of the better shows all year. PRIDE bandwagoners take notice, UFC is for real. The HW GP was awesome, but 3 Bushido events? I'd rather take a loooong nap than watch an event in which most of the fights are snoozefests. And a note to PRIDE higher ups...STOP SIGNING THE SIDESHOWS! Sure they are entertaing at times and we all shared a laugh when Giant Silva made a extremely gassed out sumo wrestler tap, but I'd much rather see Yves Edwards, Genki Sudo, or David Terrell fight.
  13. The Adema songs I liked the most were The Way You Like It, Pain Inside, Do What You Want To Do, and Giving In. Out of the ones I heard there wasn't one I disliked but those are the ones I've liked the most so far. As for Flaw, Whole, My Letter, Inner Strength, and One More Time stick out as my favorites as of right now, but once again I've been more than pleased with everything I've heard thus far. They are more, what's the word? Not down-beat...melodic, they have a good flow that is not too hard but nowhere near too mellow. It which works well for them and I like it.
  14. Good call on Adema, Fitzy. I just listened to about 8 or 9 of their songs, good stuff. I'll pick up their self titled debut album for sure and I'm in process of checking out Flaw. Oh, by the way, I know this sounds stupid but how do you pronounce "Adema"? Is it Ah-Dee-Ma or Eh-Dee-Ma or Ah-Dem-A or what?
  15. Sorry Small Blue, I am also going to have to hijack the thread.... Recommend me some bands and/or CD's similar to these bands that I currently listen too. Sevendust, Disturbed, Nonpoint, and System Of A Down I have some extra cash so I am going CD shopping today and I want something new.
  16. When I saw it in the theaters I didn't know who Horshu (now Luther Reigns) was. But when I watched it on Tuesday I was in a short state of shock. Well, not really, but I found it pretty funny, especially when he says "feel her tits". I found that hilarious just because it came out of his mouth.
