  1. No surprise. When Rubio shoots a good percentage he's pretty awesome.
  2. How Cleveland has a measly 2 assists with 6:40 left in the 2nd is mind boggling.
  3. Do YOU care about the Nintendo 64! Well if you don't join N64 mafia...the N64 could cease to exist!

  4. Seriously? The stat that says Patty Mills was the fifth best PG in the league last year and D.J. Augustin, George Hill and Isaiah Thomas the eighth, ninth and tenth best PGs is the one we should take in isolation? I assumed I didn't have to explain that minutes per game and usage is a factor. I probably should have said WS/48 and Win Shares instead. It's also not a ranking system. It's more of a range that gives an idea if a player is good or not (.100 is always the league average). Starting at .08 for two seasons then .107 on your third like Rubio is a sign you aren't a good player yet. In Rubio's case, he's the type player where he just needs to get his one glaring weakness (shooting) to merely average and he'd be a great player. Think of it like a school report card with 4 As and 1 F. You aren't making the honor roll with that 1 F, but you may with a C instead. For the record. Mills, Thomas and Augustin had very good seasons last year. Mills shot 46-42-89 and was a valuable bench piece for San Antonio. Augustin was downright brilliant down the stretch (and at other points) for Chicago. Thomas too could probably make some argument about being near the top 10 in PGs (depending on what you are looking for from your PGs).
  5. Ricky Rubio is my 3rd favorite (well, depending on Steve Nash) player in the league. He has elite defensive skills and passing ability for sure. But his shooting IS that bad. Quom, I like the use of some advanced stats (WAR, for example), but the one that really matters, WS/48, aren't and haven't been there. Even if he shot at a below average rate, something like 40-42% and not in the 30s, he'd be much more effective. ] He's the poor man's Jason Kidd. Until he shoots the ball at some decent %, it will stay that way.
  6. We're only down by 6 and I already feel like this is hopeless.
  7. The last gen thing shouldn't surprise anyone who's played sports games. I mean Madden on the PS2 didn't change much from 2007 through 2012. And NBA 2K for the PS2 didn't change at all from '08 through '12. But they require such little money to make at those points.
  8. I'm pretty surprised Stabler isn't in.
  9. I don't even like Marvel and I thought that was incredible.
  10. Apparently he gave Golden Tate a black eye at the Super Bowl last season ans refused to re-enter the Dallas game last week.
  11. As a Jets fan I'd be more excited if we didn't wait till we were 1-5. Still, interesting interesting move.
  12. This was pretty funny. https://vine.co/v/OAITz5AZ2up
  13. Nintendo officially announced the Smash Wii U release date as November 21st.
  14. Smash Bros. DS is fantastic. I am absolutely pumped for the Wii U version now.
  15. I find Villager and Pacman to be tons of fun so far.
  16. As someone who plays tournaments and is kinda part of the competitive community, I wouldn't play Smash without the GC controller at this point.
  17. The report did say he had enough to impair his judgment at the time of the accident.
  18. Steve McNair. I don't know if i would use the word recently as he died in 2009. He was shot and killed in a murder-suicide by his mistress. Air McNair was the man though.
  19. To add to that, the Jacksonville Jaguars that year were 14-2, and beat Miami 62-7 in the divisional round, before losing in the Conference title game. 15-3 record. And all three losses were against the Titans!
  20. Grand jury decided Stewart would not be charged. Ward apparently had marijuana in his system at high levels.
  21. Here is the article. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/11551518/how-ray-rice-scandal-unfolded-baltimore-ravens-roger-goodell-nfl
  22. Breaking news. NFL had detailed account hours after Ray Rice incident. Misdirection everywhere. Ravens Security Director saw video. ESPN.com's main page has the story.
