  1. The Knicks never fail to depress me. Let's trade KRISTAPS while we're at it for Roy Hibbert or Lance Stephenson or something. Shrug.
  2. Team Stark, but let me tell you Team Cap was so good in the film there are times I wanted to switch sides.
  3. May 5, 2016 was the day Marvel stole my heart from DC Comics.
  4. I don't know. I'm not really one to upload other people's work without their consent.
  5. It's not my scenario, but I do have some version of this on my CPU.
  6. Anyone thinking Shaq would be less effective today doesn't understand basketball. Shaq would be a bigger asset today as he was required to be double teamed at all times, which would open long range shooting opportunities. Combine that with the fact that there would be no center that could handle him today and with Shaq's underrated passing skills and Shaq would be more unstoppable than he already was.
  7. I really hate the editor EWB has now.

      GA!

      Technically, yes. It's cleaner fluid!

This went somewhere I didn't expect.

  8. I agree 100% with this. It's actually not much different than Michael Jordan inspiring many players (for better or for worse, and mostly for worse because MJ was such a complex player) to turn basketball into an isolation game. These are the results 11 years in of the rule changes made in the mid 2000s to open up the offense.
  9. While it's not even close to done, I have been slowly working on one for a few years with 200+ workers completed. If you want an incomplete one I could perhaps post it on here.
  10. Don't do that. Fitzpatrick is starting this week.
  11. Hayward is also well behind Leonard and George, and I'm also thinking Wiggins will be better than him. I'm all on the Rudy Gobert bandwagon though. And the Derrick Favors bandwagon.
  12. Maybe I'm in the minority of Knicks fans, but I am quite excited about Kristaps!
  13. I definitely disagree about the 95-96 Bulls. I understand about 72-10 and 15-3 in the playoffs and all, but that team is slightly overrated (next year's squad is better imo with Brian Williams addition). The 96 Sonics, another team who's record is slightly inflated due to expansion, gave the Bulls trouble overall. A goodish but not the best Knicks team also took a game from Chicago in the playoffs. LeBron could definitely take one. I also disagree with the 2001 Lakers part. Iverson went bonkers in Game 1 to win in LA, so I think LeBron going bonkers is definitely one win. The only teams I think LeBron struggles to get one win in is against a team like the 94 Rockets or 99 Spurs. LeBron getting through the middle with Hakeem or the Duncan-Robinson combo in there? And Hakeem and Duncan having their way with someone like Tristan Thompson? That feels like a more likely sweep.
  14. We need to really start looking at Stephen Curry here. He's the MVP of the league. As great as Dellavedova is playing D on him, he needs to torch him and the Cavs for 40+ points. This is the kinda thing everyone killed Dirk Nowitzki and even LeBron in the past for.
  15. From a pure basketball standpoint, the #4 for Rubio seems steep. I think Rubio is my favorite player in the league right now. It doesn't change that he's an extremely talented player with a flaw that kills his value (not unlike Rajon Rondo, at the moment). If Rubio can fix his shot, he suddenly becomes an elite PG. I don't see the fit for the triangle perspective though. Playmaking PGs suffer in the triangle (see Jason Kidd during the first 22 games of the 96-97 season). It's an interesting idea for a deal, I guess.
  16. I am still all for a Jimmy Butler for Carmelo Anthony trade. Let's do it Chicago!
  17. I so badly want Dale Earnhardt Jr. to win a Championship. That is all.
  18. Losing in the lottery isn't the end all for us. Plenty of talent can be had at the #4 pick in the draft. Jury is still out for last year's draft, but let's do a recap of the past here. In 2013, #4 could have gotten you Nerlens Noel. In 2012, #4 could have gotten you Damian Lillard or Andre Drummond In 2011, #4 could have gotten you Jonas Valanciunas In 2010, #4 could have gotten you Demarcus Cousins or Paul George In 2009, #4 could have gotten you Stephen Curry In 2008, #4 could have gotten you Russell Westbrook or Kevin Love It's the #4 pick of the draft. Used wisely it can be a huge asset that we hopefully don't trade for someone like Greg Monroe.
  19. Just because you don't like them doesn't make them a superteam.
  20. The Cavs are hardly a superteam. It's LeBron and Kyrie with a lot of role players at this point.
  21. As a Knicks fan I can confirm that's just how JR Smith boxes out.
