  1. Probably already got it, then. Doesn't seem like an achievement I'd really remember getting.
  2. What achievement is for the ship thing? I would actually like it more if it didn't rely on the fire barrels for the battles you need to do to lower the route to "safe" when the fire barrels can only be gained in one way. If you don't have any friends who have the game you're out of luck. It gives some decent money, though, which is the only reason I really ever did these sort of missions, even the Assassin ones (though those might have had the benefit of adding assassins that you could send into battle in a couple of the games).
  3. The little ship minigame thing would be good if it gave you a way to get more fire barrels for it than just helping your friends speed up their missions. I've only been able to help Benji on a couple of his missions and someone else a decent amount, but I don't think there's any way to get fire barrels. Which sucks because you need to do little minigame battles to make routes safer to do missions on. Regarding a mission during Sequence 6:
  4. Brotherhood was my first AC game and I loved it. My favorite just in terms of storyline (but Black Flag is up there, and I'm only in Sequence 5 I believe). I enjoyed Revelations for the whole Ezio/Altair thing. Small things that seem to have stuck in Black Flag that are annoying bits are 1) trying to run left/right while at a wall but constantly running up it (despite there being nothing to grab onto), and 2) it takes too long to become anonymous at times. I shouldn't have to wait 20 seconds to become anonymous when there are no guards chasing me or even around me. The story has been really good thus far, though. Spoilers about a particular character for around the sequence I'm at (5 or 6, but not entirely sure):
  5. Still haven't started memory 2 in sequence 2, but I have everything in Havana collected minus four assassination contracts. The enemies are still as stupid as ever. I was on a rooftop, got spotted by two of them who turned red, and I just dropped down behind a little balcony while they stared right in my direction doing nothing. Combat still seems about the same as ever, but I really like Havana, especially the beach area in the South. EDIT: Did my first multiplayer just now. Wolfpack with someone on my friends list. I don't know if they made it easier or if it just works better with only two people who know what they're doing, but there was zero problem getting through all 25 sequences. In AC3 it seemed a lot harder. Then again, in that I believe you only had to kill targets, whereas with IV you kill targets, defend chest (and kill targets trying to steal them), and collect medicine (and kill infected targets). Still, I managed to go from level 1 to 5 just from one Woilfpack match. Now I just need to get used to all the characters in multiplayer and hopefully get some good ability sets going (that time shift thing looks really interested; throwing down an area of effect that slows down targets while in it). EDIT 2: Did a few Manhunt matches this morning and am now level 10 I believe. Unlocked Decoy and Time Phase. Decoy is the same as it has been and Time Phase seems... interesting. Trying to work out a good ability combo to use it with (thinking Money Bomb with it for now as an offensive set, with Disguise and Decoy as my temporary defensive set). Time Phase would be great to use on pursuers to keep them at bay while you get away, or against your targets if they're trying to run away. Really, though, I'm waiting to unlock Poison and hopefully rack up some good kills without team mates kill stealing.
  6. Outside of the Animus there will be notes around various places. Just look for white pieces of paper with a blue sort of holographic square in the middle I think. Press B at them and you'll collect them. Only have three so far. Hoping to see more from it. The weapon wheel being gone threw me a bit. Think I prefer the current weapon selection method (the cross over the wheel). I've collected two shanties so far. The first one where you start the game took me five or so tries before I managed to catch up to it.
  7. Got as far as the first memory in the second sequence. The out-of-Animus stuff is pretty interesting so far. I need to go back and read the notes around the office at some point. The locations thus far (all two ) are pretty nice. I like the taller vegetation that you can move around in and stalk from, and using the ship seems about the same as in III control wise. Not bad so far. Still some issues of trying to climb something and running into a "wall" or getting stuck for no apparent reason (only happened once so far, though).
  8. So Gamestop is selling the three Dead Space games as a bundle for $50. I want to try them out at some point (played the co-op demo for 3 and had fun). Are they worth getting in a bundle, or should I get the first one and see how that goes? Was also going to try waiting until they did one of those "buy 2 preowned get 1 free" things as well.
  9. I enjoyed III The setting really surprised me when they announced it because I never thought they would actually go to that time frame, at least yet. My main problem was the DLC that I thought wasn't really worth the price. It had length, but I don't think it was as good as it could have been. I dunno. I would have liked more than just 3 episodes out of it; definitely something they could have drawn out a bit more. I'm kind of surprised they are offering multiplayer packs and stuff on 360 for $25 for IV. That definitely does not seem worth the price, even though you get all the multiplayer unlocks (costumes, emblems, weapons, etc). Then again, i would rather actually player multiplayer and unlock stuff rather than buy it all outright. There was also that one achievement I think, that you had to watch the folk at that camp or whatever do their chores and shit, and it was just random as to what they do. So you could spend hours waiting for the final person to do the final task like I did . III wasn't bad, though. It had some stuff that can annoy you (jumping the wrong way sometimes or something). The beginning was pretty great and the entire story itself was nice. If I had to pick one problem it would be Connor seemed pretty bland in comparison to Ezio, but I don't think he was a bad character. I'm probably going out today to get Black Flag as well, after having listened to the main theme to it several times (I'd say it's the best main theme of the games yet).
  10. So with that stimulus package money I bought 25 sticky bombs and this.
  11. The setting seems interesting, as does the main character. Hoping he's better than Connor. He wasn't bad, but he seemed a bit... bland, especially after playing as Ezio for three games. The story behind him was really interesting, though. Watching an LP from Achievement Hunter now, and it just makes multiplayer look even more fun. I really want to play multiplayer for a month before team mates kill still enough to make me remember the one downside to AC multiplayer How are the multiplayer maps, and are there any new abilities? I really loved Brotherhood's maps a lot, probably my favorite batch thus far (though 3 had some good maps).
  12. I was trying to come up with a Pokemon tabletop using Shadowrun mechanics. Needless to say I haven't touched the idea in months/a year
  13. You don't even get the option to do anything. It says the bird appeared, it stays on their animation a bit longer than it usually would before you can choose to fight, run, use an item, or switch, and then it says it flees. You literally can't do anything but watch it flee. It's fucking ridiculous. What I ended up doing was riding my bike between I think Route 18 and Couriway Town, and constantly checking my Pokedex whenever I got onto Route 18. Sometimes I was lucky when I flew to a town to get to a route that Zapdos was on, but it was really a pain in the ass. If they try pulling that shit with another legendary I will lose my mind.
  14. Ended up getting blocked in when I parked my cop car.
  15. I think I used Pangoro with False Swipe. Still a bitch to catch, so using Capture Power helps, but you probably don't have to worry about Moltres attacking with any super effective moves. If you want I could send you my Pangoro once you actually get to the point of being able to battle Moltres.
  16. Alright, all set. Managed to get a female Ivysaur the first shot
  17. It's super annoying because you'll see in the Pokedex that it's on like, Route 5. You go to Route 5, check, and it says it's still on Route 5. You go through the grass a few times, check 10 minutes later, and it fucking moved to Route 18 or something. I hate the person who thought roaming legendaries were a good idea. No problem. I'll post again once I'm all finished in the Safari.
  18. Eleven times Fucking shit is annoying.
  19. Okay, I'll have something to give you for Dex data then.
  20. What Kalos starter did you choose, by the way?
  21. X Scissor, Nightslash, Double Hit and Air Slash. I would assume you would want Double hit gone?
  22. Yeah, I am Do you want any of these to learn moves? Scizor wants ot learn Iron Head, but I don't know what you want on it.
  23. Nah, you can access all your boxes via the trade menu. Also, if you plan on staying on a bit after the trades I'll probably stop by the Safari quick to try and get those hidden abilities.
  24. I have X as well. The evolutions via trade are mainly what I want, since those are the ones I don't really have in Black 2 I think.
  25. I could if you want, Sousa. I don't have anything to trade to evolve, but I could at least get the Dex data from you and help you with it. At least if you'd wanna hop on now/relatively soon that is.
