  1. Well, I started off with about $1.9 million yesterday. Bought a new apartment on Integrity I believe, sold my old one to get a 2 car garage under the highway/next to a skate park, bought a Turismo R, Dinka Double T, and Coquette Topless (should have gotten the one with the roof to save $21,000), and did some upgrades on those three. I now have just over $400,000. Really hoping heists actually pay a good amount and not just $30,000 or something low like that.
  2. The new apartment interior looks pretty nice; I really like that the bedroom/wardrobe room is on the same floor as the entrance. Can't see myself buying one unless the location is really good, though. The new vehicles are okay. The new super looks pretty ugly, though. The new bike is okay I guess, but I'll probably just get a different Dinka one. The other two I might get. The new clothing is pretty disappointing . From what I can tell, all you can do is buy outfits from the cashier and then change the vests in the Tops section. Also, here's a video of the new interior:
  3. So does anyone have a server for PC going or anything? I know there used to be an EWB one, but I logged into it one day many months ago and it was taken over by someone else or something.
  4. Well there's still about five weeks for them to get it in before their "during Spring" promise is broken
  5. http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52245/GTA-Online-The-High-Life-Update-Coming-Next-Week-Tuesday High Life update officially coming out next Tuesday. Hopefully heists aren't actually too far behind...
  6. Pretty happy to hear these are officially being remade. I have never finished Ruby or Sapphire and want to, so now I have a reason to. I have to see which legendary I have in X that seems more legit, and I'll end up getting the opposite for the remakes.
  7. Ended up going from the low-mid 80's to level 95-96 from the double RP, and now have about $1.5 million after starting with like, $50,000. So I'll look forward to buying two guns and a shirt before I'm broke again . Luckily I managed to find a playlist that has Coveted 16 times because it still doesn't show up in the jobs list, and I don't feel like going to the marker in the world every time. I really hope they don't wait until Watch Dogs comes out to release the update. Even if heists are actually released with it, I'm going to play Watch Dogs more, and I'd rather them not make players wait just so they can try and steal thunder from Watch Dogs or something. I think there's been enough wait for something that should have been in the game already, and they're going to kind of cut it close to their "coming out this Spring" claim.
  8. Oh how frustrating it is not knowing whether I just don't understand the material or the professor is shitty at his job.

      CobraKaiEnTai

      Yea TNA is pretty confusing.

  9. I have trouble finding a copy of HG/SS that isn't extremely expensive. Well, $40-50 for a game that old is extremely expensive to me
  10. This might come in handy, Fxhd, if you want to get an idea what the stats will be after you EV train but before you actually do it: http://www.psypokes.com/dex/stats.php And this could come in handy if you want more exact numbers for above (probably best to go to the Battle Maison or somewhere that will set a Pokemon's level to 50) http://www.psypokes.com/dex/iv.php
  11. I think a lot of the replay value comes from the user made tracks. This one is only $20 (plus another $20 for the season pass, which will include six DLCs between now and May 2015). There doesn't seem to be too much good stuff in the track central for user made stuff, mostly because people are uploading tests and stuff like that, but there's a few really good ones. Plus if you can figure out the editor it's worth it for that alone I would say.
  12. So if anyone likes to make themselves rage over a game you should check out Trials Fusion. Newest game in the Trials line and it's pretty damn good. Basically a 2D, side scrolling motorcycle game in a 3D world (though people have created FPS skill games in the editor, so it's pretty fucking awesome) with physics. They introduced stunts in this one so that is pretty fun as well.
  13. According to Bulbapedia, there's an 80% chance for a mother to pass its ability on, and a male or genderless Pokemon can pass it on now if bred with a Ditto. Not sure of the chance for that, though. So it is kind of random, but it is a lot easier than previous generations.
  14. This might be better suited for the computer trouble topic, but thought I would post here since it is kind of Steam related. Tried logging into the Steam site just now and since it's been forever since I logged into the site they sent me the email to verify the computer with a code and whatnot. In the email, it says that the IP Address I'm using is one thing (which is different from the IP Address I found showing in my connection details) and it also said that the location for the IP address is in Phoenix, Arizona, which I clearly am not from. Should I be worried about this, or is it some computer thing that I may not understand?
  15. I think Fusion will be the first Trials game I actually buy. Damn games look incredible with the stuff people can create.

  16. I've wanted to try out a Hitman game for a while now but never wanted to actually pay for one. I played the first mission yesterday and it seemed pretty fun, and I like that there's a bit of replay value with those challenges for each mission.
  17. I was kind of annoyed that Civilization Revolution could have fixed my gamerscore, but now I actually like the damn game.

    1. IDOL

      IDOL

I've been playing the hell out of it since it first came out and have yet to get all of the achievements. some of them are quite cake though

  18. Well, first time as DM without a module, but still only second time overall. I wanted to start them off at paragon tier so that they could have their path off the bat, mainly because it's a setting of a show we all really like. And yeah, I use a screen. I ended up adding some HP in the group encounter to have it last a couple more rounds. The first night I mainly wanted to just have them get used to their powers and also allow myself to have some sort of idea what could be too easy for them. Like I said, my main issue is just getting more comfortable with thinking of things on my feet as far as non-combat stuff and not getting nervous when it comes to that.
  19. So first session went okay I suppose. I don't think I really had what NPC's make as much sense as I had in mind and I blanked on what to say when players started asking them questions a few times. Hopefully that I can get better at. I think it's mainly that I don't want to respond with something I'm not sure about because I feel like I would be kind of stuck with that decision, so if I can get over thinking about that that should help. Even though one person couldn't make it, I'm starting to get an idea for how tough to make enemies for them. The only group encounter was the three of them (level 12) against a level 12 and two level 11's, and that didn't seem like too much of a problem for them. I have to tinker with damage output and enemy HP; when I made them I thought they had a little too much HP and they would do too much damage to the players. Now I know that isn't the case. I have a small plot hook for them to go after, though, so I'm hoping that goes well. I have an idea for a larger plot hook to implement, but we'll see what happens. I'm going to end up taking the solo encounter I had for the person who couldn't make it last night and turning it into something that starts off as him against a few enemies, and after a couple of rounds the other players arrive to find him (played it off as the NPC who brought them together saying the fourth guy she found was supposed to be there, but might have gotten lost along the way or something). Like I said, I think my biggest problem is thinking of stuff on my feet and not getting nervous when it comes to that.
  20. I'm going to have to check that out at some point and see what my group thinks of it. If it's something everyone would be interested in trying out I probably wouldn't do so until after I wrap up the first run with this campaign.
  21. I kind of want to look into other systems for an Avatar based campaign as the stuff we've been using is set with the 4e D&D system. It works for what it is, but it makes me wonder if it wouldn't work better in some other sort of system. I think it's mainly that while the thing is a good base, there's definitely some stuff that needs tinkering or house ruling. Finally managed to put together the encounters for the first session, and I like thinking of encounter ideas than I do actually putting them together with stats, powers, etc.
  22. I think the change they made to where you can choose what order to face the Elite Four in made things a little easier I suppose. Last gen wasn't as bad as this one, though. Was really disappointed that subsequent E4 battles didn't up their levels.
  23. Thanks for the advice . For now I'll try tossing out one off encounters to them to try and get an idea for how they actually portray their characters in the world, then I can hopefully plant some seeds for some sort of story arc. Trying to come up with this huge plot definitely wasn't wise when we haven't even started >_< I'm really excited to DM simply because it's set in the world of Last Airbender/Korra, so there are custom classes/paragon paths and it opens up a new way for them to handle situations by utilizing their bending.
  24. Yeah, I have to keep the "players being players" thing in mind. The normal D&D campaign we just wrapped up was meant to be three encounters, but we ended up getting past the first two with a Diplomacy check. I think my main worry is keeping things entertaining/interesting and being able to think on my feet.
  25. Having some first session jitters, so are there any tips anyone could give on running the first session as a "new" DM? I say new as my first time as DM was with a prewritten module, so this will be my first time on my own. I think it's just the amount of openness without a module is a bit daunting; once the first session concludes I think I'll be more confident/have a better idea of what to do. I'm just worrying about having the first session and not knowing where to have things go or what to do. I've probably already posted something similar in the past, but for the sake of more current advice.
