Apparently the T-Wolves have also come to terms with an offer for Nicolas Batum... Believed to be 4years-$45 million with incentives that could push it past $50 million... I don't see why Portland would match that offer... I don't think Batum is anywhere near worth a deal that big and honestly I think it's the worst deal so far of this off-season... Quom, I still think the T-Wolves would have missed the playoffs last season... I think they probably would have finished 9th in the West... I hope Rubio comes back strong as he was before the knee injury but I think it'll take time for him to get his confidence back... Edit -: Scratch that I completely forgot about the Omer Asik deal but still it's worth no where near as much as Batum's...

Brandon Roy agrees to a 2 year-$10 million deal with the Timberwolves... I think this a great signing and the timberwolves are getting someone to fill a spot and need badly... If Roy comes back anywhere near as good as he once was, this could be something that puts the wolves closer to getting back to the playoffs...

I don't know how Eric Gordon makes the Suns any better than they currently are without Nash but I like the move been a Suns fan (even though the Hornets will match the offer)... I just wish Nash would stick around or Phoenix would work out a sign and trade with New York or something...

In Australia, to referee at higher levels of basketball (not just pro levels) you have to pass fitness tests and other various testing before they allow you to ref... I just assumed that was the same everywhere and I've got no problem with them doing that anyway, they're getting paid to do it, they're not just there for fun... How three referee's can miss blatantly obvious calls or make bad calls without another overruling is beyond me and something needs to be done about the system but it never will... Think it's just something everyone will have to live with...

Can I just ask... Is there much difference between The Show '11 and The Show '12? Would I be missing much to just pick up '11 cheaply instead of getting '12?

Artest gets a 7-game suspension for the elbow... Pretty close to what I thought he would get (somewhere in the 7-12 range)... Think the Lakers only have 2 games left on the schedule, so he'll be out for the majority of the first round as well... I don't know that this really hurts the Lakers a great deal but I still don't think they'll do too well in the playoffs and wouldn't be surprised to see them ousted in the first round by the Mavs...

Just too many injuries and players sitting out for me to compete over the last couple of weeks... Good work to Quom and Tyler though... I think Quom will get up but should be an interesting final...

Well at least one half of my national championship game pick is there as I had Kansas over Ohio State in my final four... I had Kansas losing in the National Championship game but I think I'd much prefer to see them get the win over Kentucky...

So it looks like the Bucks and Warriors have struck a deal officially kicking off what I thought would fizzle out to be a lackluster trade deadline... Golden State Recieve: Andrew Bogut and Stephen Jackson Milwaukee Recieve: Monta Ellis, Ekpe Udoh and Kwame Brown I like it alot for Milwaukee and don't quite understand why Golden State gave up what they did for Bogut... Maybe there is more to the deal but that is all that is currently out there... I like the idea of a back court pairing of Jennings and Ellis and I think Milwaukee will continue to push their way towards the playoffs this season with the Knicks sinking...
