So far I'm glad I threw $50 on Indy covering -2.5 ... Houston besides Watt just look horrible... Don't get to watch too many Thursday night games (Friday here in Australia) due to work and I really don't get the appeal of either team here... Thursday night games not marquee games?

Oh and it still annoys me how even though you get drafted in somebody else's place in the 2014 draft, that player whose place you took is still on the roster... I think it should simulate the first season with the current rookies and then throw you in the 2015 draft... Might be hard for them to do I don't know but kind of annoying when you get drafted as a PG and the guy they chose IRL was also a PG and now you are stuck behind him too lol

Yeah I picked it up on PS3 today... Anyone else have MyTeam issues? Just keeps telling me it's down for Maitenance, or is it only a PS3 thing? I started an offline career and it just seems like the same MyCareer mode for PS3, no upgrades or anything... Wasn't expecting much but it's really no different from last years... Hope it at least had some upgrades for the new gen players...

Got a message yesterday saying I could pick up my game as I pre-ordered it (Australia), didnt get off work in time to get it though gonna try my luck again today... Anybody heard what I miss out on with the PS3 version? Obviously I don't everything the new gen consoles get but is it a huge difference?

I think Encino Man is awesome lol I've come to realise that I dislike most movies with Jim Carrey or Ben Stiller in them... Both just usually annoy me...

I just can't help but feel this new deal is going to lead us to another lockout though... If it does, hopefully it is resolved quickly and doesn't drag on like the last one... Owners ARE going to have to make concessions here because of the deal, I hope they realise this and get a new CBA sorted ASAP this time...

Well they're estimating that the soft cap could potentially go from $62 mill to $88 mill... Definitely seems like there'd be enough room to sign another all-star calibre player...

Duke continues to win and it's making me happy, since I've followed college football they've never been all that good but this past season and so far this season have made me a happy man... The other team I go for, Cal, blew a huge lead and gave up 36 pts in the 4th today including a Hail Mary on the final play to lose 49-45 to Arizona today I was getting excited that both the teams I follow we're going to have good seasons but this loss reminded me how bad Cal sucks these days lol

I'm quietly liking the moves that Washington is making this offseason... Aside from picking up Pierce, they've just managed to do a sign and trade with Boston to get Kris Humphries on a relatively cheap 3yr-$13.5 mill deal which they'll absorb into some of the trade exemption they just got in the Ariza to Houston deal (which I think was an overpay for Ariza anyway)

Yeah I don't really feel the Kings needed him with who they already have there and they got a much cheaper option in Collison... In saying that though and been a Phoenix Suns fan, I just can't see why the hell they need Thomas and would pay that much for him... Waste of FA money and cap space... They have Dragic and they'll more than likely and stupidly give Bledsoe the max deal he wants... They drafted a PG this year in Tyler Ennis, already had Archie Goodwin from last years draft... I can't see the need for 5 PGs on their roster... They should have used that money on a position they actually need help in, SF! My mind is boggled with this trade from a Suns perspective...

Nets have given Jason Kidd permission to talk with Milwaukee after he failed an attempt to take over the president of basketball ops with them apparently... Head coaching role and president of basketball ops is the assumed talks he will be holding with Milwaukee too as he is apparently really close with new Bucks owner or something... Could be interesting...

I personally think the Lakers should look into Lionel Hollins or George Karl to be honest... I like Karl for them to be honest but I could see the grittiness and defense that Hollins could teach there... Both would be good fits IMO...

I really don't ever see OKC winning an NBA title as long as Russell Westbrook is there... I think he is a liability for the Thunder and isn't a very good PG... He's a good guard, don't get me wrong, bug he isn't a PG... OKC have made one move I've liked so far in the playoffs and that was putting Caron Butler into the starting lineup... A change was needed and Sefolosha wasn't producing... I don't think they'll beat the Clippers though... I think the Clippers match up perfectly with them in almost every area (lone exception been Durant) and will win the series in 6... In the other series' I've got Portland knocking over Spurs, Washington too good for Indiana (I'm not usually one to bash coaches for collapses but man Vogel has done a poor job since the all-star break and if Mark Jackson is fired from GSW, Vogel deserves to go too) and Brooklyn stunning everyone and knocking off Miami in 7 (more hopeful and wishful thinking than it actually happening )

Yeah that rule fucked over Phoenix a few years back against the Spurs if I remember right... I don't care either way as I think Washington will beat either Indiana or Atlanta next round anyway but he should be suspended I believe... Gotta enforce the rules... Players know what they are...

Yeah easily the best game of the playoffs thus far Lars... Aldridge was a beast and once he fouled out I thought it was over for RIP City for sure but man Lillard is so clutch... Definitely hoping the rest of the series keeps up this pace... With Phoenix out, I'd like to see either Portland or Brooklyn win it... Brooklyn mainly cause I'm a Jason Kidd fan and it'd be incredible after everyone wrote him off as a coach... And I'm a fan of Paul Pierce, a title his first year out of Boston would be funny...

Phoenix pretty much gone now Memphis has to lose all three of their remaining games and Phoenix have to win both of theirs as Memphis own the tie-breaker over the Suns... Sucks! Can't see it happening for Suns... Lot of positives to take out of the year though... Alot to look forward to...

C'mon Phoenix... Considering this was supposed to be a shit year for us, I'm both excited and scared that they'll blow a playoff spot over the next week ill be really happy if they keep Memphis out of the playoffs... I'm fully expecting a team to win 48 games and miss the playoffs, it's crazy... West playoffs going to be interesting I think... Also, there's a big rumour going round that John Calipari to the Lakers is pretty much a done deal for next season... Take it for what it's worth but everyone seems to think its happening...
