My 11 year old mind was blown when I got through Midgar and realised there was a whole new world to explore the second biggest game I’d played at that point was Crash Bandicoot having three islands. So that moment just before that realisation in the soundtrack I’ve always loved, not even sure what I love about it. Do love ‘Price of Freedom’ also though.

Had that for ages and still not played, I really need to start looking at my backlog rather than the next shiny new game.

Stumbled to 4 promotions in a row with Scunthorpe just from some really lucky loan signings on deadline days and the discovery of Shola Shoretire. Started the Championship season not too badly with some of the easier games at first. Although the top two's wage bills are 1.8m a week, 23rd lowest is 250k and then there's me with 155k.

I mean, is that a bad thing?

Peter Hitchens is such an insufferable cunt. I was never the biggest Friends fan but I enjoyed him in his other guest roles, as someone who has had their own alcohol issues I probably spent much more time watching his talks on addiction like this one and the other posted above than Friends. Horrible shame that he has passed as he seemed like a really decent person.

Unpacking was wonderful, loved how it had that sort of impactful story without really doing anything.

Went 20 games with 19 wins and a draw, then proceed to labour through every game after that no matter what I tweaked. Managed to win the title but thank fuck for the first half of the season. Also ended up with both goalkeepers injured and needing to use a fake player in goals for the must-win final game. 😂

Still on Act 1 and although more of the same, it's definitely feeling bigger and better. The lazy part of me wishes the collectibles just showed up on the map like the last game rather than having to find them.

Wasn't sure if should go in Sony Megathread or create a new one. First two missions down, it seems more of the same but also a few improvements. Couldn't keep the smile off my face playing the first mission.

Either way Ukraine - Italy in the last game is going to be fantastic.

It's just bad faith by certain companies, we all joke about Activision etc. but Modern Warfare on PS3 still has it's servers online. 2k have linked their career mode in NBA with online so when the servers drop you can't really even play the single player.
