  1. I was shocked by this, but Scholes is nowhere near his best internationally so he did the honourable thing Now we need to get rid of the prat on the right
  2. Whats bad with Zeppelin being #1? I love Zeppelin. They are a deserving band to recieve #1! ← Nought wrong with it, just what I think
  3. Oasis have got to be the Indy Rock, maybe even Pulp (I wouldn't bet on it) I'm starting to think that Led Zeppelin will be number 1
  4. As for me saying Man United are the 3rd biggest club in the country, I stick by that. When was the last time that they pipped Chelsea or Arsenal to a big signing. The big names used to pour into Old Trafford, but recently they lost out to signing Ronaldinho, Duff and Robben. I might be proved wrong about United, but I really can not see them improving on last season
  5. You could try Carl Cort on loan for a good striker, its a long shot but he's worth it. As for a midfielder, why not try Gazza (if he's in the game), otherwise go for someone like Danny Cadamartri

    Top 100 Bands

Don't nominate solo acts, I thought I mentioned it, but in either case this is for the top 100 bands And thanks for doing this
  7. Danny Mills is up there, but not at Neville's level. Gary Neville to me is a lot like Vassell, he saves his best for England. Man United will not win the league this season, they won't win the champions league or the FA Cup. They have wasted money and have not been the same since Beckham left (as much as I dislike him). Man United fans (and Arsenal fans too) may not think Chelsea will win it, as money doesn't buy success but they have a much better chance than United. Chelsea have a squad of players, who when one gets injured can still be replaced by a different one. If RVN gets injured, Man United throw on Saha, or if Scholes gets injured its Kleberson. The fact is, Man United are now the 3rd biggest club in England. I blame a lot of that on Ferguson. He's lost the plot. He's had his time in the sun and needs to move over, let someone with fresh ideas get Man United back on track

    Top 100 Bands

I know that there is one going around here, but over on another 2 forums I have been doing a similar thing and was just wondering if you guys could put your list of 20 bands in order of favorite so I can add up the points (1st pick gets 20 points, 2nd gets 19 etc). Don't moan at me for doing this, if it isn't allowed then close it. I don't mean any critism for Jook for doing this either, as I respect the hard work that goes into this. If you want the results then I will do them in a straight 100, a few weeks after the current one has finished. To anyone who does this, then I thank you
  9. Exactly, Jason will have his fans, as well as Victors and Ahmeds voting for him. Who's going to vote for Shell other than her family
  10. Unfortunately, Nadia is going to win. It sucks, but there is no way anyone will get as much votes as she does. The race for 2nd is down to Stu and Dan, but Gandolf will rob Stu. Shell will go Wednesday, Jason 4th, Stu 3rd, Dan 2nd and then tragedy. BTW, did anyone see that BB thing on Bo Selecta where they said they had a big announcement. I thought they were pissin about until Davina was there, but as soon as she said fuck or bugger I realised it was a pissabout. Still entertaining
  11. Sorry to ask again but...does anyone know the link to the nominations thread. I'm doing one of these on a different board and was wondering if I could use the nominations on here Also, I firmly believe that the top 2 is out of the Beatles and Nirvana. Oasis, Metallica and Led Zeppelin will be around there too
  12. I started as Leeds and managed to get 9 million for Ian Harte. Now thats impressive. The downside is that I got the sack as Leeds manager but got a job at Villa, where I now link up with Ian Harte. Going into the 06/07 season my team is GK: Sorenson RB: Samuel LB: Harte CB: Woodgate CB: Mellberg DMC: Hitzlsperger MR: Marinelli ML: Seth Johnson MC: Lampard FC: Vassell FC: Cruz Subs range between: Ambrosio, Martin Larson, Peter Whittingam, Okocha, Crouch, Simon Walton and Michael Owen (He come through the Chelsea youth team, and scored 6 goals in 13 sub appearances for them last season. I got him on a free and he's only 15)
  13. I'm surprised Franz Ferdinand featured so high. I'm not disappointed as I like them, but I don't know about coming above Blur or The Verve And does anyone know the link to the nominations thread. I'm doing one of these on a different board and was wondering if I could use the nominations on here
  14. 'Wonderwall' - Oasis 'Cigerettes and Alchohol' - Oasis 'Half A World Away' - Oasis 'Bittersweet Symphony' - Verve 'Drugs Don't Work' - Verve 'Back for Good' - Take That 'Angels' - Robbie Williams 'I Don't Want to Miss A Thing' - Aerosmith 'Babalon' - David Gray 'Your Game' - Will Young 'Everybodys Changing' - Keane 'Parklife' - Blur 'With or Without' - U2 'If You Tolerate This' - Manic Street Preachers 'Truly Madly Deeply' - Savage Garden 'Billie Jean' - Michael Jackson 'ABC' - Jackson Five 'Why Does it Always Rain on Me' - Travis 'Everybodys Talking' - Harry Nillson 'Three Lions' - Baddiel, Skinner and The Lightening Seeds
  15. That fucking Hey Baby song, does me fucking head in.
  16. I hope Oasis make the list, but I have a far different taste to a lot of people so I doubt it. I've liked Will Youngs last 2 songs
  17. Can you enter two teams? As a Leeds fan I'm tempted to make a team of ex Leeds players, but want to enter a serious team too
  18. Kezman, I think he will do a lot for Chelsea this season, and has done well in pre-season
  19. Victor has just blown his chance of surviving next week. I thought he would just scrape through into the final week but he is now virtually guaranteed 4 nominations. His only hope is if he is up against Shell one on one. The others are two popular. Shell might be voted out as she's as wet as my farts. Nadia ain't going to win. The Sun (Which is mostly right about BB, save the traitor task thing) says that as 5 will be in the final week, there will be a pub quiz 2/3 nights before the end. The loser goes so theres 4 left on the final night. Of course Nadia who don't even know what an equilateral triangle is, is fucked. Stuart will win in my opinion though, but I think Dan has a chance. He made me laugh by offering Vic a cup of tea when Vic was ready to kill him. And shouldn't Dan, Vic and Shell be warned for discussing nommos?
  20. I just watched the nominations uncut and Victor has become the legend of the serious, claiming to be at war with 'Dan Bin Laden' and 'Nadia Hussain'. He said that Dan could probably get the Israeli and Palestin leaders licking chocolate off each others arses, and then started acting like a chicken, saying being with Nadia is like being on Old McDonalds farm Shell got a nomination off Dan which surprised me, hopefully Nadia goes this week, then Shell next. Unfortunately, Jason will go
  21. I made mine myself. Theres a BBC website in the transfer thread with a lot of transfers, then I simply renamed Wimbledon to Milton Keynes Dons. It takes a few hours, but the game just seems fair better in my opinion. In my game, I finished 7th with Leeds. I beat Arsenal at Highbury on the pen-ultimate game, meaning Man United won the league. Fulham beat MK Dons in the league cup final, and Leicester beat Bolton in the FA Cup final. Add to the fact that Bolton got relegated from the Prem, Leicester and Fulham are in Divison one and MK Dons in division 2
  22. I started a new game with a lot of the updated transfers (not all though, like Milner was still at Leeds, Crespo still at Chelsea etc) Anyway, I got promoted for the Championship coming second, as Burnley won the league. In the Prem I am 5th in February and the board are well behind me. In the semi finals of the League Cup against MK Dons and the 4th round of the FA Cup against Bolton. I've managed to sign Morton Gamst Pederson, Carl Cort, Nigel Martyn, Supat Rungratsamee, Linvoy Primus and Sunday Oliseh, all cheap. I think I paid 3 million for all of them put together. The big transfer news in the game is from last season, Henry's contract ran out so he moved on a free to... Man United
  23. Victor should win, but Stuart will. Vic is the most entertaining housemate in history, that dating task was class. I find Jay funny too, far better than the other 5
  24. Craig Hignett, Steve Guppy and Brian Deane are on trial at Leeds, who has just won their first pre season friendly Also, anyone know where Henri Camara will be playing. All I know is that he has reportedly walked out on Wolves
  25. Fucking computer fucking up my fucking chances of winning Portugal 2-0 Greece I was tempted to say Greece to win there, so I get points either way but Portugal look too good
